1600 E Rice St, Sioux Falls, SD 57103, United States, Sioux Falls
Banh mi, noodle soups, vegetarian dishes & other Vietnamese eats are served in a relaxed setting.
The food is delicious. The server is always attentive. I had the autumn bowl. The spring rolls were delicious. The fish sauce is the perfect compliment to the rice noodles. We will be going back again.
Another great meal with the family. We love the Beef Spicy Pho, fried rice and pan fried noodles. This a small "Mom & Pop" place. Everyone is always so nice and the food comes out in a timely manner. The prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend!
Had the stir fry combo rice noodle. Yummy. Also, tried the pork and headcheese bahn mi. It wasnt great, but pretty good once I got over trying headcheese for the first time. The table house sauces were fresh and excellent, the service was fast and friendly. I WILL be going back to try something different as Im sure I wont be disappointed.
Everything was delicious! I ordered the Cornish hen and it was so unique. It came with a very nice gingery broth soup. The seasoning was lightly sweet and complex with spices. My husband ordered the beef tips and that was also fantastic. The atmosphere was nice and quiet, a surprisingly unbusy place but I definitely recommend regardless
The Thai ice tea and the pork pie (tiny quiche pieceswere excellent.
Lam was chill. Made me happy. Been real down after my dog left me and my girlfriend did too. Thanks yall. Yall been some real ones. My hero.
The food was good but the place is not clean. It looks clean but the condiments on the table were not appetizing as the containers needed cleaning. Other areas were dirty as well.
Excellent food at a fair price. Every thing on the menu is fabulous.
Really good food. Portions were enough to feed my adult teenager.
Pick and shrimp pho best in town hands down 😋🤤
Service was atrocious, I asked what the grim faced waiter recommended and he just said soup, the menu was unclear, it felt like the waiter was rushing me to order. The sauces that were on the table were in very sticky jars,
If you like pho this is by far the best place in town for you to get it, and they have multiple choices to choose from. The staff is nice, friendly, and very efficient.
First off, the bun baos are amazing. I tried the beef fried noodles. It had great flavor, but was disappointed in the quantity
Lams is my go to comfort food. Theyre always great and the waitress is amazing. My favorite is the sampler platter and the spicy pho with rare rounds. The bahn mi are really tasty too!
Amazing pho. Great spring rolls. Ill be back
Truly a hidden Jem in Sioux falls. The pho is awesome!
Waited out a 90 mph wind storm in there, so along with having amazing food theyve also got a very sturdy building
Completely authentic, amazing, can’t stop eating, can’t believe they don’t charge more for the food they serve
Their Phó is delicious and healing. So much depth to the flavor! And the service is lovely.
Hands down the best pho Ive ever had. Very good service, and lovely embroidered artwork on the walls. The spicy pho is also phenomenal! Lams Vietnamese Restaurant is a triumph.
Fantastic pho in a casual, unassuming location. I got the spicy combo pho which came with several kinds of meat - ribeye, meatballs, and more - as well as the usual accoutrements of bean sprouts and herbs. The pho was delicious, service was pretty quick, and prices were very reasonable. Id happily come back again!
I love the Spicy Beef Pho and Bun Bao. The Pho has become my favorite lunch. Very Nice people and a cozy atmosphere.
Best Pho in Sioux Falls. My absolute go to. And their Thai Teas are incredible! Like ice cream but in a drink. Bohn Mis are delightful. I will always keep coming back!!
Stopped by craving for pho. We also ordered bun bo hue and shrimp 🦐 chicken fried rice. Everything was delicious. But small portions.
I’ve had good Vietnamese food and I’ve had really good Vietnamese food. This was neither. The vermicelli bowls are not worth $10 dollars if all that’s used is iceberg lettuce for the vegetables and there’s not even any of the typical mix of Vietnamese raw herbs such as basil, mint, and cilantro in any of the dishes we ordered. Coming from Asia this was a big disappoint in quality of ingredients, presentation, and flavor. Not worth the price at all. Although, the service was good.
This is me and my boyfriends favorite pho place in South Dakota. Weve tried a handful of places in Sioux Falls and Rapid City. Havent found a place that has topped Lams. Great pho.
First time here, came with some coworkers and we had some fried pork rolls, spring rolls and pho with brisket and I had the pork with shrimp. Everything was good, food, service and a friendly smile. Got seated quickly and served quickly. Will definitely be back if I’m the area. Thanks 👍🏼
Got beef pho and chicken fried rice to go. Let me tell you the food was awesome. Pho was hot, flavorful, and had plenty of toppings. The broth had a strong but not overpowering flavor and the beef was thinly sliced and very tender. I get pho often at other restaurants and this is some of the best. The chicken fried rice was also top notch. It had reasonable nickel sized pieces of chicken and the egg was about dime sized pieces. It was very flavorful and only slightly spicy. It came with a Chile sauce that made it even better. I recommend you try it if you order fried rice. Portion sizes for both were good, filling for an averaged sized man and wife but neither of us were stuffed. Very good place if you like Vietnamese food.
We got the noodle bowls. all $10 each. The Best value and taste Vietnamese place in Sioux Falls I must say. The volume is so big too. Their red meat balls are the best. Great experience! Will sure be back another time
Lunch at Lams driving through Sioux.. modest ambience in a converted house. Warm hostess. Ordered the Viet bbq pork sandwich and beef pho. Pho flavors were nice with quality meat. Thai iced tea was nice. Would recommend for very reasonable priced, flavorful food..
Ordered the Combo Fried Rice. Burnt rice. Didn’t have the sausage supposed to be included. Flavorless. Small portion. Server was very slow. Seated at table with no condiments. Will not return.
Family ran, great hospitality, cozy clean place. Plates come piping hot quickly from kitchen and presentation is done well. Below average pricing and good sized portions. Definitely a date spot
The best Pho I have had anywhere even in other states I have visited. Sooo much flavor. If I lived closer I would eat here every week.
Spicy pho wasn’t as spiced as I would have expected. Banh mi was great. Rice and chicken was a bit dry and not cooked with the ginger sauce which was a bit disappointing. Overall meal was satisfactory.
The taste didnt match the price. There are so many better Vietnamese restaurants with lower prices on the west coast.
Wasnt sure what to expect as Id never tried Vietnamese food until now. The egg rolls were really good, had them without the lettuce wrap. Didnt like the spring rolls, too much like sushi, and I dont care for sushi. The soup was excellent, and came in a really large bowl. I could have shared it with a friend. The service was fantastic. I may come back and try something else next time.
Lam’s is a true Sioux Falls gem. They have a wide variety of food, including a good number of vegetarian options. My recommendation - try the seasonal bowls or veggie and bun baos! The prices are very fair. The restaurant is also always clean, and the staff is helpful and friendly. It has been easy to order to go during the pandemic, which has been so nice. I have only ever had great experiences here, and I can’t recommend it enough. If you have accessibility issues, please note that the front door does have steps to get in - though I believe there are side doors with ramps (I would call ahead for options!).
Delicious phở with authentic broth. The waitress wore a mask and washed her hands frequently. I’ll be back for more!Edit: They stop serving new customers 20 minutes prior to closing time.
I work in Sioux Falls pretty often and Im always impressed by the amount of restaurants. I found Lams on Yelp one day, was able to look on the menu and spot a Vegan Pho!I stopped in one night later on, the restaurant was not too busy, kind of quiet there - no music or screens playing. I thought maybe it was due to being closer to their closing time, but I had been the same way the last few times Ive been there. Found they had separate Vege and Vegan pages on the menu.I ordered the Veggie Pho (Vegan Noodle Soupas well as the Spring Rolls (cold). I have also ordered the Vege Banh Mi Chay, and asked them to make it Vegan.I loved the Spring Rolls, the Banh Mi was good, could have used a bit of flavor next time I will add something. The Pho was absolutely to die for! Amazing. Not only was the veggie broth super flavorful, the tofu was out of this world. Its not your traditional raw barley cooked cut up tofu you receive in restaurants. There were three different textures or ways the tofu was cooked. Its hard for me to explain, Im not sure I even understand lol! For the tofu alone this place is worth the trip.Once on one of my visits I brought home a jar of their Kimchi and Pickled Vegetables. The Kimchi is the best I have ever tasted in my life, they really knocked it out of the park. Very garlicky. It wasnt until we were half into the jar did we notice it has fish sauce in it. So not vegan, wishing it was because I would love another jar.
Super tasty food! Nice size menu so a lot of variety. I highly recommend the crushed meatball sandwich. I know that sounds odd at a Vietnamese restaurant, but trust me, its amazing! (In my opinion anyway). Prices are excellent, staff is friendly. Parking can be a bit tricky since they have small lot, but thats my only complaint, if you can even call it that.
I love their soup and they got a delicious pNoodles+ shrimp meal.
Service was good, food was so-so, was not a huge fan of the tofu skin.. would have preferred real chunks of tofu, also vegan pho was pretty lacking I. Vegetables. Bao was pretty good as was the chicken curry stew. Service was good. Overall ok experience
I absolutely loved this place. We were stopping for the night a bit a way from here but needed to eat and they were closing in 45 mins. We debated if it would still be good that close to closing and let me tell you. It was amazing, the lady who served us was awesome and patient. We had 5 people. We ordered pork roll, bun bao, beef pho, summer bowl and a chicken bowl. Every we order turned out pretty delicious. I only wish we had this place were we live. Saving this place for another visit.
This has become one of my favorite places for pho. Great tasting Vietnamese food. You cant go wrong with this place.
Been eating here for years. Easily the best pho in Sioux Falls
I will definitely be back again. Fast, Friendly service. A clean place to have a meal. this picture is the Summer Bowl.
This place is Sioux Falls hidden gem for Asian cuisine. A little off the beaten track but oh so worth the drive. The Pho is the best in town. Always fresh ingredients, always delicious. Great for a quick lunch on a cold day. I try to order something different each time I visit. I had the combo pork platter last time and it was an amazing. Four different preparations of pork with rice and a fried egg. Wonderful. Highly recommend.
Lams never fails to amaze me! Their fresh food and savory meats are consistently Scrumptious! Plus, their individually sold KimChi, Chilli Sauce, and Fermented Chilli Sauce are delightful to take home for meals!
Delcious food, hands down my go to spot for Asian cuisine. The Korean BBQ Banh mi is AMAZING. And the Pho is some of the best Ive ever had.
Great place with good food and simple decor. The Bun Bao was delicious, and the Lams Pork special was a good spread of pork. Everything was well cooked and tasted healthy.
