Cozy restaurant with exposed brick walls & a menu of upscale Indian vegetarian & meat specialties.
Best experience at first time. Food was so amazing and service too. Just ordered veg fried rice , some papadoms with green and mango chutney and delicious gulab jamun. Recommend to everyone whoever visit prague. Anyways chutney was on the house with papadoms. I wanted to add one more information that they charge for the tap water .
I love to dine in again in this restaurant. Great food and lovely atmosphere. Nice staff with lovely service. Great place to visit again
One of the best Indian restaurants, the delicious food, the atmosphere, the service and the price... Highly recommended for lovers of Indian food!
Absolutely perfect, delio, tasty, yummy food, I have ever had in Prague.Must visit the restaurant. Loving it
We loved the food! The service was very pleasant.
Great place, good staff and amazing food. Overall a best dine for Indian Cuisine.
This is definitely a place I would visit many more times!!It has a huge variety of an amazing Indian cuisine. As the waiters respectfully serve the orders in a beautiful way the food tastes very good!! As a topping you have to get yourself a Kulfi (ice cream)…I would give 10 out of 5 if possible.
If I could give less then one I would because thats too much.I ordered Vindaloo and Spinach Paneer and paid 479 Kc and they didnt give us any rice with our delivery. When I rang them up very unhelpful and said "we dont have any delivery drivers so we cant do anything".No apologies or anything and then hung up.The food was also cold so I will never ever order from there again.
Frequent visitors 😉 still amazing..
Not the best food vs value. Many other indian places beat it and are for the same price. The waiter was polite and nice however not too nice when he understood we want to pay the bill using our card instead of cash. He insisted cash is preferred and changed his attitude from friendly to dirtbag.
Best North Indian restaurant in the Czech Republic (arguably). Great ambience, delicious food, courteous staff.
Great service, tasty food, nice atmosphere. One of the best indian restaurant i visited in Prague
Great food and great service! For some reason we didnt have the candles to keep the food warm as usually but it was probably because we arrived near the time to close the restaurant. But I think it is one of the best Indian restaurants of Prague if not the best 🙏🏻
The soya chap was good...garlic naan were are also done well.. I insisted that I want normal drinking water, and this guy just asked that we need to have bottled water so that he can charge hundreds of czks extra...other was that the curry portion was too less..even for a single person
I tried diffrent indian restaurants in prague but Lal qila was the amazing in terms of everything. Perfect indian food. Kudos to team lal qila.go straight to lalquila if you are looking for indian food in prague.
Excellent food, the waiter was kind, quite cheap. I do recommend!
Our favourite Curry spot in Prague. Helps that it just a few blocks down the road. Tandori sizzling prawns, butter chicken and Lamb Rojan are firm favorites. Naans always light and crisp
One of the best Indian restaurants in Prague.Very authentic.Super nice staff.Their all you can eat lunch buffet is a must try.For the buffet they have wide variety of veg and non veg dishes.Dont miss on the Indian desserts :)
Lal Qila indian restaurant today i take Real indian test.I think the best buffet in prague🤟🤟🤟
We are a group of people travelling around Europe frequently and every where we go and look for an Indian authentic restraunt and in our view this is the Best Indian restraunt so far.Service 5 starAmbience 5 starFood quantity 5 starFood price 5 starTaste 5 star
This is the best indian restaurant in Prague. If you are tired of eating western food, this should be your go to place to enjoy any north indian delicacies. Nice food with great ambience.
It’s one of the best Indian restaurants I have visited in Europe. The first impression from outside was not that good, but hey don’t judge a book by it’s cover. You enter and see the rich and plush interiors. They offer a lunch hour buffet during week days which is brilliant. The quality of the food is brilliant with some quick service.Recommend…!
The place is amazing and the taste of Indian cuisine is authentic. I will highly recommend it.
Very good food and recommendable and also halal. I enjoyed a lot, tasted a lot. Massive price also recommended
Amazing authentic Indian cuisine! Apart from getting the most important aspect down, I love the rustic vibe they have going on. The atmosphere is great, the servers are polite and I must say for the price they are up to the standards and beyond. So far I’ve been there more than a handful of times and not a single dish served has been a miss :this time I got lamb biryani.
The food is excellent, nice staff and perfect place to bring the family. Recommend 100% and 10 more ;)
Came on a Tuesday and they didnt have the buffet, so we ordered from the menu. It was our first time at an Indian restaurant and it was fantastic, we would recommend.
Been living in London from the last 3 years but didnt eat a soya chaap as good as served here. Simply delicious. The Dal makhani (called dal maharni hereand the Naan were also pure delhi style (can say this being a Delhite). Dont think, just go and satisfy your tastebuds for the best and authentic Indian food. Fully worth the price and the owner as well as the servers are also very kind to talk to.
The food is absolutely amazing and Anand as a host is excellent !! We are visiting Prague and very particular about our Indian food as we come from Indian origin . I think it would be enough to say that we came for two consecutive days on a three day trip !!
I have tried many Indian restaurants in the world and this is one of the best outside India. Very good food and perfect service.
Great food and great service in a very cozy and relaxed atmosphere! If you are in the area and are craving Indian, then look no further!Tip: Single rice and nan portions are large enough for two.
The soya chaap is of the best vegetarian dishes I’ve ever had, and the tikka masala was amazing too
Our Experience was awesome, the waiter was super nice and knew exactly what to recommend. The food was delicious! Definitely will return back.
I ordered Chilli chicken and it was delicious, I tried same food in any other restaurants, but it was I can say top class. RecommendedGreat work
The food is no doubt delicious, but they charge for normal water which they will never tell upfront and if they miss to add that in your bill, they will add it without asking or telling if by chance you visit them again. They have misprinting in their menu and can charge whatever they like.I might not visit them again because of these hospitality issues. Otherwise the food is good.I just saw some comments below. So just to add The guy named Manoj is sweet, but the other one is bit arrogant and rude. That is true
It is the worst indian restaurant I have seen in the europe. Which service is not proper...the man who is giving service is arrogant. Others I dont know.About food you get costly food, quantity small..rice is not included complementary as compare to other restaurant.Food was tasty but we ordered spicy food and they didnt even care about the spice..it was like we were eating sweet food.As compare to price and service. I will not recommend this restaurant to any one.
Ive been living in Europe for 8 years now and I can legit say that lal quila has the most authentic Indian food Ive tried anywhere in Europe! Everything is affordable and the grill dishes are to die for! Recommendations: Soya chap (asked them to make it "Indian Style" its really good), murg malai tikka, paneer butter masala and dal makhni. The garlic naan is also amazingly good. Would recommend to anyone visiting Prague and looking for authentic Indian food.
The food was really delicious and tasteful and the service was very pleasant and professional, and prices was fair. Ill definitely come back. If you like Indian food, you should try it.
Such a surprise to find this beautiful Indian restaurant with perfect Indian food!Everything was delicious 😋Service is perfect too, very attentive and friendly.Just 10 min walk from Vaclavske namesti (Museum)Will definitely come again.
Great food as always! I regularly order food from here. I especially like the murg malai tikka which is incredible and I definitely recommend! Also, the garlic nan and mango lassi are a must try. The food is a bit expensive but worth every penny. Especially if you love authentic Indian food you must try this place!
Lunch buffet is 159kc with no drink, have 2 chicken options and vegetables, I prefer more vegetables but still good place to enjoy Indian food and reasonable price!
The best Indian buffet in Prague.Must try. Great ambience, friendly staff.Very happy with the fooooooddddd!!!
Very nice place near Riegrovy sady for indian food. They offer lower price indian food and it’s surprisingly good for around 150 CZK 👌 Big recommendation. We had Chicken Korma and Lamb
Great ambiance and delightful Indian foodIt’s been a year and since I first visited the place. Since then, I go back there at least once a fortnight. The food is flavoursome and well prepared. The service is great. I love their Mushroom Kurkure. If you like mushroom, I would definitely recommended this. Their byriyani is great as well, though a little more oily than you would expect.Edit 1 - I visited Lal Qila after the lockdown and was in for a surprise. They have introduced 2 new dishes in their menu, and I got to try both. (I am told more are to come, so stay tuned)I loooved the soya chap. It was lip smacking. Papdi chat was good as well. Anyone who likes chats, should definitely give it a try.Keep up the great taste and service Lal Qila
Excellent service, great dishes (starters and main dishes and drinks). Top notch.Went there with a group of 25 colleagues from school and our Professor and we all had a great time out. This is arguably the best Indian restaurant in the whole of Prague. Im definitely visiting again
As an avid lover of Indian food, I quickly became a loyal customer of this venue. Excellent and authentic food, tasteful setting and kind staff. A must visit for every fellow Indian food lover!
Lal Qila simply rocks in Indian food. Ate till stomach bursts😀 great ambience like you are sitting in a fort. Fantastic authentic taste of food. Great service and friendly staff.
The only restaurant with desi style food and personal touch. Kudos to the hosts piyush and dipankar. If you want to feel at home and enjoy the typical Indian food (home made stylethis the place...This is my second trip to Prague and I can’t believe the royal treatment I’ve had with customised spicy desi style food and lovely drinks. Needless to mention the subtle Bollywood music is the background to set the mood... Highly recommend.
Excellent foods. One of the best Indian food in Prague (suggested by my freind who lives in Prague). Friendly staffs. Nice collections of liquors and wine. I tried chicken biriyani and it was awesome.
Lal qila is definitely my favorite Indian restaurant and one of my favorite restaurants in general. It gm has been life savior to get Indian food in other parts of world. Lal qila is the one stop destination here in Prague which provides you the real North Indian food taste. Go to the lovely interior restaurant and enjoy any type of food you crave to eat away from home. Paneer items are delicious with garlic green chilli Naan. They learnt a new dish now garlic chilli Naan.Besides the amazing food, the staff is very nice and welcoming and in general the atmosphere is very nice and relaxed.
