Lakkidi View Point in Calicut

Always busy with lot of tourists this view point offers breath taking views of Nature.Monkeys are also there in abundance.

It is not a proper view point. You need to park the vehicle very carefully and then get down. There are always cars and trucks zooming past you.View is amazing but seems like a bit dangerous place to stop.

The view is Ok. Not so breathtaking. We can see some of the parts of the hairpin bend roads below. This view is on the highway connecting Waynad and Kozhikode and traffic was too much and hence we have to be very careful. There were lots of monkeys around. If going to visit this place The best option would be to park the vehicle near the arch entry to Waynad and walk to view, which about a couple of minutes walk. We went in the evening so there was lots of breeze. Normally people do this while travelling back to Kozhikode as it is just a stop and view place for about 5 mins. No ticket is required and no parking fee also.

The views are breathtaking. You get an aerial view of the valley along with lush green mountains & rock mountains in a distance. You can also see some cloud covered mountains, which looks magnificent.There are monkeys around this point, so keep your belongings safe & don’t feed the monkeys.There is no proper parking spot here. It’s just along the main road which is very busy. It’s not very safe for kids or elders.Since this is a famous spot, visiting amenities should be made available for the tourists.Overall a nice spot to visit.

Its a wonderful place to visit in wayanad. Parking area is available for travelers. We can see the spectacular view of calicut from here. Morning times heavy snow will be there. Its best visit morning, evening, night.

This the beautiful view point that we can see ,when travel through Wayanad. This view point is at the one of the hair pin at mountain pass. We can see some part of Kozhikode district from there. When we went through there we stop the vehicle and experience the view.The place is full of vehicles, and many people stay there. Then we saw there is some animals like monkey hanging there in the tree. Some of the monkeys come to the top for search food, some of the people there gives food for them. We taken some photographs from there and return. That was a good experience for us.

First thing is, the place is given just hype, you would see similar views many times on your travelling.Its a place while you enter the waynad and in the middle of the road.Just a view from the road where you can enjoy the view of waynad from the top.In insta you would see many drone shots of this place.

One of the best sceneric view points with high tall hills from vythri to Kozhikode, it is best to watch sunset in this location.

One of the best view points near Waynad.When I visited the place was filled with fog, so could not enjoy the view but still it was a wonderful experience. Whenever you go around waynad it is a must visit place and if you continue down the hill towards Thamarassery Churam, you will get more view points and after a couple of hairpin turns you read Thamarassery Churam waterfalls which is also very beautiful.Definitely you should visit these places if you love nature and its beautyPLEASE DO NOT LITTER THE PLACE, CARRY THE TRASH WITH YOU!

You can enjoy amazing views from here but beware of traffic as roads are very narrow and crowd is huge..careful about monkeys...

There is no words to say about this place. who every passed on this way they know very well. its a beautiful hill station and ending point for Kozhikode district . and entrance gate for Wayand district . every Kerala people at least visit one time on this place, the most attraction is ghat road inside the forest approximately length for 12 Kilo meters. This ghat road is very beautiful with green views in a mountain pass. Some time at the top station you can get heavy fog also, that was a very fantastic moments. in simply you should need to visit at least once in your life . Thank you

Best place at Wayanad to visit. The view is breathtaking and you must visit once if you go to Wayanad . There is parking place exactly so you need to park your card on left side of the road .

The Lakkidi View is simply Awesome.If you are traveling through this either day or night, must stop place. The Beauty of this view is Aww 🥰 Night View is incredible.

Visit on some mild rainy days,mornings or evenings..you will love this place..the view could kill you..you will forget yourself and will immerse in the astonishing view of the hills and nature...very beautiful place..the monkeys will love you..if its rainy season you can drink from the small falls of water and enjoy the taste of it..Keep it clean ..dont hurt mother nature nd preserve the beauty for coming generations. ♥

We went during rainy season there.Trust me you will literally walk through clouds, excellent view point.Cold and chilling experience.But take care while you park your vehicleI dont know why monkey like to take selfie with us

Amazing place during Thamara sherry churam enroute Wayanad , after 9 hair pins u reach thsi point when we reached there around 4 pm the fog had set on you can see the whole view upto Kozhikode city from there , Lot if monkeys be with you , when we came back at night 3 am it was clear sky and we can see all lights

We should park our vehicle safely and can view the pass we came.its awesome

Due to rain and fog view was not at all clear.We waited for almost 30mins and fog was getting cleared, but the view was very good.During our visit they were not allowing to park our vehicle in the main road, we were suppose to park 500mts away (near the welcome to waynad gate)If you visit during the month of June to August you might miss the view, but for sure you will enjoy the mist

This place gives us a great view of the kozhikode district. Also the hairpin turns of road could also be seen. During rainy days the view point will be covered in mist. Although theres no parking sign, many vehicles park there. There is no proper waste management. And the presence of monkeys is also there. So watch out for them

Another place to enjoy the beautiful view. If visiting on weekend and going by a four wheeler, then plan to reach at least 1 hr prior to sunset because theres too much traffic.

This is a pass which offers a vast panoramic view of kerala. Its officially a high wat which offers a beautiful landscape. Visit this place in monsoon or at time of sunset.. A cool breeze, will provide you a serene releif.. you can spend half an hour time here.. beware of rushing traffic, as it is a high way not a traveler friendly spot. Monkeys also will follow you in hope of food... beware.. otherwise a superb place to chill for... if you can find hot tea and pakoda... just perfect evening to pass here...

This is a best and must places to visit in Wayanad.This point is just 4kms from Soochipara waterfall diversion.Considering it is just a point where people usually get down to take a picture, you will not find anything extra here but the view. It is on the highway which takes you to Calicut route. So, if you’re not planning to go Calicut then you can just reach this point and turn back to cover other scenic places like soochipara or Glass bridge.

Good to visit in the morning times and winters u will see the beauty of natureIf u will visit in the summer times u will not the feel

Pretty nice view point. 1st time hairpin bend drivers will have a sense of accomplishment after clicking a pic from here.There is no parking allowed, but still its named a view point so all park and click pics. Not sure if we will be fined if caught by police patrol.Please be careful when overtaking, very rash driving by govt vehicles.

You can see the hairpin. The view is okay. But you must be careful while standing near the road. Monkeys are there. You can click photos. Evening time we reached there. Rush is there. You cant park here. It will create traffic block. Please be careful while watching the view. Monkeys can attack or jump towards you. Please take care of your children too

Best View point Wayanad. There is no entry fee . The place is a boarder of 2 district. Having natural beaty of Ghat road and awesome climate.

View point at thamarasery route. Morning site is better here, also you can see some monkeys. Police will not allow parking here, we can clearly see sign boards regarding that. Still many park their vehicle and take photos, feed monkeys.... Etc.

Waynad churam or Thamarassery Churam is a magnificent place which has great views of the valley. The best time to visit would be early morning when you will be on top of the clouds.This is great place for a riding enthusiasts.

Most beautiful view from the top most part of thamarasery. Its a must watch. While parking make sure you dont create any difficulties for other travelers. Park safe and carefully watch the view ❤️ Try the salted fruits and Kaada egg from the small shops near by.
