Upon arrival at Lakkatura, you can either report to the main office, where you can hire a guide or listen to a lecture about the Lakkatura Tea Garden, or you can wander around the garden by yourself. It is not rare to come across newlyweds having their wedding pictures taken at the picturesque tea garden.

Its a great place to roam around. Nice tea garden, rubber forest. Be careful about snakes, sliding from height. Here, you need to be aware of local people who may irritate you during site seeing or entering into tea garden with asking for money for entering unwanted areas of their tea garden.

Natural beauty. Tea garden full of natural beauty and hill. Lakkatura Stadium also built here by cutting hill. I went there at 11.00 am. I was perfect time if you visit in the evening. When power of sun get down. I saw there, some boys and Girls (May BF/GFgossiping upper of the hill. It is so much dangerous. Be careful. Because pickpocketing also happened here sometimes. You should careful all-time. It should better if you go there with a group such as 3/4/5 people’s. Not go there alone.

Most of the tea gardens around sylhet city dont give the permission for tourists to visit inside their garden premises but Lakkatura gives the opportunity. Lakkatura is a vast green tea valley with large trees, a rubber tree forest and hillocks. You can take a walk with the help of a guide from the gate besides international stadium, sylhet which will charge 100 taka. You can spend hours for sight seeing. There are some tea shops in the middle part of the walk where you can have authentic tea. You can take amazing pictures with a backdrop of tea hillocks.
