Sunday was busy but they accommodated me with anything I needed.

Great family run place with delicious food and equally great service. The wait staff are very attentive and always create a jovial, interactive atmosphere. My family used to go elsewhere, but now this is our hometown restaurant, especially for breakfast!!! Favorites: Lakeview combo with bananas or blueberries (best pancakes), Benedict Florentine, any omlette, especially spinach & feta and the Reubens. Small but very cozy with outdoor seating and worth the visit.

So-so. Not for me. Butter was really margarine. Maple syrup was really table syrup. I cant stand margarine or fake maple syrup so this ruined my breakfast experience. My party ordered three different types of waffles and the ram special, which includes pancakes, and there were no issues with these. Other issues worth noting: home fries were nearly burnt on one side, seemingly on purpose, because 3/4 of the home fries were not crispy at all. Sausage tasted off, like imitation meat, or precooked microwavable meat or possibly even turkey, rather than traditional pork sausage.

Absolutely loved having a quick lunch with my husband at this very quaint cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. The menu is full of all kinds of deli favorites. My favorite part and I wish I had taken a picture of it was the back of the menu which has the history of Lakeview Park. The restaurant is also adorned with Lakeview Park memorabilia.

Great place to stop for a lunch or ice cream. Food was terrific & I loved the prices. The service was quick & the waitstaff was extremely pleasant.

The staff is so so nice and attentive. Food is very good! Hoping to make this an every Saturday place. Took our one year old with us, sat outside. Was very nice:).

Service was very slow, food was bad. They got almost all of the order wrong even after repeating it to us. They even put the order in a handheld computer. A receipt prints it out, they didnt seem to check it to make sure we got everything.They missed two orders of bacon. Put raisins in the oatmeal, when it should have been bananas. The croissant should have gotten home fries, not potato chips.We were there almost two hours total. Took 10 minutes to get our drinks. Took 25 minutes to take our food order. Took over 45 minutes to get the food, another 30 minutes to get the check. We asked if one item could come out first as that person had to leave for work, it still took 20 minutes after that.The cream chipped beef was sweet, it should not be sweet. The chocolate chip pancakes were the only good thing there, but those are hard to mess up.The owner or manager (whoever it was), couldnt just remove the missing items from the check, just discount the equivalent amount off the bill. Either they dont know how their system works, or something fishy is going on there, not sure what it is.Maybe the problems were due to it being Fathers Day, maybe there were other issues going on. But it is definitely not my favorite place to go. Probably wont go back there again either.

Great service, prices reasonable. Nice shady spot for those of us still eating outdoors.

Liked the "Mexico City Omelette" Special so much, I ordered it again! Really do hope they add it to the regular menu.Great selection, great taste, great value, great atmosphere. A great place!! Sooo glad to see new ownership here at this excellent location.Looking forward to eating outside too. Definitely a winner for breakfast, brunch or lunch!!UPDATE: WOW! 4 years since this review, and MAN has the owner & staff really done a great job ... even thru a pandemic. IMPRESSIVE!! Long wait for initial waitstaff contact after seating. Did not get silverware until after we asked for it after receiving coffee. Took 15 minutes to take our order, another 35 minutes to actually get our food, which was lukewarm at best tending towards cold. For breakfast, no special requests! Our first visit, will not ever be returning.

Food - average.Menu - ok.Ambiance - ok.Waitress - good.Fare - a bit expensive.Owner - arrogant, inconsiderate, unreasonably rude.Overall experience - disappointed, worst in the area, never had such a horrible experience in any restaurant. I heard it used to be good, not anymore.

Very rude behaviour from the manager... Once we entered the cafe our kid was playing with the jelly. He cake to the table and took it away very rudely. We did not like the way he behaved. We had ordered the food already so we did not walk out. At the end we did not give tip. So the manager came out and yelled at my husband. He insulted us very badly.Adding the reason for the below comments from the owner.If that was you concern you could have told in nice way.... You were very rude while take. Now since the topic is in public you are using nice words.By the way people TIP when the experience is good. After being treated badly I dont think we had to tip.Kid was just playing and I am sure he didnt cause any issues there. You just overreacting to it.After all these treatment do you think we come back.... Joke!

This local diner is a staple for us. It has a small but classic menu with loads of great breakfast options available all day.

What a great place for breakfast or lunch. Not many place left were the owner still circles around and checks on his guest. Not only will you have top-notch service with the food is phenomenal. Almost hate giving it a great review as I know whats going to get busier and harder to get a seat!

Best in the area, the options are amazing for me since i have a gluten intolerance. Staff is accommodating, owner is always welcoming which is always on the floor as well as the staff. Pick up orders are always hot. Quick service. I could not recommend them enough. When I’m not at work in the area i would drive the 20 minutes just for the food. Highly recommend!

The food is good with reasonable prices. The owner is constantly walking around talking to guest and it really makes you feel welcomed.

We loved this place! We finally made it in. Breakfast was great! Best creamed chipped beef Ive ever had. Huge, tasty portions, family owned and operated. The service was friendly and fantastic too! Extra, extra clean!

Do not order doordash from here. Your food will be ice cold, your waffle will be super dry and they will not include butter or syrup, your bacon will be burnt and taste like plastic. Dont even try to special request anything because you definitely wont get it. Waste of money.

They make a great breakfast, omelet, pancakes or french toast. Everything is delicious. The staff are always friendly and nice.

Having recently relocated into this area, Im always on the lookout for places to eat. This is the third "breakfast" stop and while the food was okay, the service was horrible. First of all, I was alone. When I ordered, the waitress felt compelled to speak to me as if I was brain-dead. Then, she never came back to ask if the food was okay or offer a second cup of coffee. What really topped it all was the waiting 10 minutes for her to offer something else or the check. Frustrated, I went up to the register and paid the bill. The waitress seemed so scattered but only had about 5 tables to wait on and seemed to gravitate towards the more frequent or known customers. I didnt leave a tip and thats a rarity for me.

First time there. Sat outside under the shade of big trees for breakfast with our dog. Friendly and accommodating staff with my no dairy no gluten requests. Food was outstanding! I got the veggie skillet - partner got standard egg meat potatoes breakfast. The potatoes were seasoned so well!! He said the scrapple was perfectly cooked. We truly enjoyed it and will be back.

Very accommodating to door dash employees and good tasting but maybe not necessarily entirely healthy foods. Coffee is good though and for door dash drivers they even secure the lid with tape and a name written on it, and the paper bags stapled shut and the coffee cups placed in a cup holder. #Very accommodating except if you accidentally enter the seating area looking for the door dash delivery items (i.e. somewhat impatient manager/ server). The door dash delivery order items are always located just inside the very first glass entrance door on a table with all names on every individual item 🙂

Went for a breakfast on Sunday. My eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly. Love that they offer potato pancakes as an option and they’re really good. Great spot for breakfast and lunch! Staff is super friendly. Outdoor and indoor seating.

Lakeview is my go to place to eat and relax. The waitress is friendly and accommodating. The owner always makes his rounds. You can tell he had a smile on his face despite the mask covering it. I enjoyed the breakfast combo with pancakes and sausage. Next time Ill try the links instead of the patty. Im so thankful that this restaurant is open and will continue to patronize it for as long as I keep getting good food and service.

My family and I enjoy breakfast or lunch here every weekend! Great food and awesome service! I observed a young man thoroughly wiping down the tables and chairs between every guest. The waitress, Maria, is extremely efficient and friendly! We will continue to visit this wonderful restaurant!!

Great food, nice atmosphere, courteous staff. We used to come here when it was the corner cafe. Seems like nothing has changed. Great selection and we will be coming back again. Breakfast menu is fantastic, delicious, and you will not leave hungry.

The food is delicious and fresh. The service is impecable!!...I had Tiffany as my host and she was wonderful. Pren the owner is very personable and aims to please his guests. Overall ...this place is wonderful and Im happy I came. I will definitely return. Oh! And they are very kid friendly - my kids got free ice-cream which made their day. 😁 Thank you Pren.

Our waitress was awesome today, she kept her distance as much as possible. Out door seating is beautiful and everyone wore masks. The tables were cleaned thoroughly between patrons. The stuffed french toast was amazing! Will definitely be back!

I order from this restaurant every. Single. Morning. And they never disappoint me the breakfast is always good as well as the service. Luckily they haven’t blocked me from DoorDash because I keep ordering every morning. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

Fantastic cafe... Was in town for the day and decided to try Lakeview Cafe — extremely pleased! The service was extremely friendly and the food was delicious. I opted to have brunch and order off the breakfast menu. Hope to be in the area again some day soon to try their lunch — will remember this spot for sure. Their outdoor patio was so nice and comfortable...plenty of shade for hot summer days!

Me and my family were welcomed outside by a masked professional man who suggested where we could sit. He told us all tables and chairs were sanitized before we sat down. The waitress kept her distance as much as possible and was very friendly. The food was delicious and service was quick. We saw a customer leave when they were done eating, and right after, the table was cleared and was sanitized ready for the next customer. We were very pleased with outdoor experience and well definitely give them our business again. Thankbyou everyone! We still have our menu, well be back!☆☆☆☆☆

Hungry and stopped in this charming restaurant for first time. Huge surprise! The menu is extensive, food delicious and service excellent and friendly. We will be returning soon!

An easy 4 stars for the cafe/diner category. They make omelets correctly, mixing the ingredients within the egg as it cooks (not folded in). The home fries are pretty standard, so you may want to try them loaded. Coffee is decent. I didnt have the bacon but my family seemed to like it, as well as the potato cakes and the sausage. And friendly staff. Definitely a viable alternative to the places on Main St. Check it out.

Very nice little diner. Quiet inside with a modest food selection. While the food is good, its not spectacular. I come here for the quiet atmosphere. I like that they offer combos for lunch with half salad, sandwich, or soup. That was a nice touch. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, as well.

Ive been here a dozen times and its perfect meticulously prepared fresh food and friendly attentive service every time. They have a shaded patio that is also pet friendly and they even brought out water for my dogs without even asking them. Highly recommend the breakfast which is served until they close at 3pm. The price is also extremely reasonable and less than other local cafes of the same quality. .

The food itself is really pretty good. The service is very hit or miss. Hands down the worst cup of coffee Ive ever had. It was cold and tasted like nothing.

Horrible service i went there with my wife and 2yr old daughter sat down and took a half hour for someone to acknowledge us and say theyll be right with us then took another 15 minutes before she came over to see what we wanted. And horrible food service i got half my meal and 20 minutes later got everything else. Will never be eating here again.

Good food, good service. Only downside is that when its really busy there arent a ton of tables. Other then that a good place to go.
