Lakeridge Winery & Vineyards - Vineyard in Sanford, United States
Lakeridge Winery is just a great time! Awesome people enjoying a nice landscape and some delicious wines. Learned a lot of the craftsmanship in making these wines. You learn a sense of how massive the operation must be to keep up with the quantity of grapes. The tour was well done and made the group laugh a good deal! Definitely worth a try if youre nearby. Love the southern red and white wines personally.
Vacationing in Orlando from Missouri to visit my daughter. We stopped together because she had had a previous enjoyable weekend visit. We had a excellent experience with a tour by Dougie! We learned a lot about wine and made delicious purchases to take back home. Thank you for a great visit!
I simply loved it, it worth the visit, the wines are really good. If you are looking for something different in Central Florida during a weekend, this is the spot. I will definitely go back anytime soon.
What a fantastic place to spend the day. This is a hidden gem! We enjoyed the wine, food and music.
The views: stunning. Fields of beautiful grape vines. The wine: delicious. No matter your taste there is a flavor or style for you.The music: fun for all ages. Free music on weekends. The staff: extremely inviting and friendly. Nothing but great things can be said about lakeside winerys amazing staff.Even as people who arent big on wine, we love Lakeridge!
We are from Fingerlakes wine country and although the wineries in NY are close to our heart, this is a wonderful experience in Florida. It was so nice to find a welcoming, family friendly place to spend the afternoon listening to live music and sipping on anything that makes you happy. Wonderful place for all ages!
To do a tasting you must participate in a tour or wait for a tour group to finish. We did purchase a case and a 1/2 of wine which was very good. I would recommend checking out this winery.
Have traveled to Orlando many times and never knew Lakeridge existed. We had an amazing time here. Please ask for Kerry.... Hes awesome!!! The wine is great too!
Lakeridge has definitely improved their game. It has been a while since we visited. The wine tasting, wine selection and store are great! What they have really proved is the festival area. They added a lot of picnic benches, a rebuilt stage, and outside bathrooms (fancy portablesthat really add to the experience. I did think the food prices were a bit pricey. But considering the free live music we were happy to pay it. The wine was as good as I remembered.
Great winery. Enjoyed a free tour and tasting. The tour guide was wonderful, fun and knowledgeable. Great variety of wines from dry to sweet and some sparkling. Also a good variety of gift and wine accessory items. Will definitely be back.
We reviewed the website before deciding to go. No mention of the wine tour not being accessible by handicap. It was up a full flight of stairs. One of our party uses a cane and could not go on the tour. We would have re-considered if we knew this. It should have been stated on their website. We went on a Monday morning- not crowded. The “guide” Doug was not engaging or interested in our party at all. All facts. If you were not familiar with the wine making process- you would probably be confused. The entire process was rushedThe wines are ok- after asking a question regarding the wine and their grapes- I received a very quick response with no other discussion. The wine tasting was brisk and barely tasted one, and he was pouring the next one.We are from Long Island, NY and have been on many wine tasting tours and this experience is on the bottom of the list. It could have earned more stars for a not more personality and interest. This experience lest a bad taste in our mouths. I would not recommend, but I don’t think there is much competition, so just steer clear of Doug, if you go.
The Lakeridge Winery & Vineyards tour starts with a twelve minute video going over the history of how the vineyard got started and a brief look into how the wine is made. The walking tour is short with just a few facts and beautiful scenery of the vineyards and a glimpse into the production of the wine and how it’s bottled and packaged. The tour ends with wine tasting.
We were in town for the first time and drove past this establishment and the muscadine vineyard perched atop one of Central Florida’s rolling hills caught our attention. We called to find out about the tours and learned that the self guided tours were FREE and they had live music and food offered by Poor Boy BBQ.The greeter at the entrance was super friendly and she suggested we start out with the self guided tour before heading out back to the live music and food.Every station host of the tour was very informative welcoming and knowledgeable. We did not make it to the second floor but did visit the gift shop which had a large selection of branded products.Large old oak trees draped over the area out back offering adequate shade for us to sit at the picnic tables provided and enjoy the wine selections available to purchase. Once we found a seat, the live musician “Beautiful Bobby” Blackmon greeted us personally as well as most of the other people in the audience which we thought was a nice touch. While we didn’t eat there because we had already eaten prior to, the food from Poor Boy BBQ smelled and looked amazing! It looked like everyone eating it was loving it.We would highly recommend adding this as a stop on your itinerary while visiting Claremont for sure!
I wish I lived closer to this place. The food, the wine, the atmosphere, its all wonderful. My wife and I brought our kids to their weekend event and had a great time under the shade of the beautiful trees right there in front of the stage. Highly recommend to everyone.
The staff here is very informative. As soon as you arrive they provide you with details of all of the public areas in the winery. They have a live band on the weekends. If you get a case of wine theyll give you a 20% discount and you can mix it up, it doesnt have to be all of the smell kind.
Absolutely love coming here when I am in Orlando . The wine tasting is a plus. One of the things that took me by surprised us how delicious the food is here. I would even go back just to have the food again.
Very nice experience. Beautiful place. Interesting tour.
We first came in on a Wednesday at 12pm. Once we came in, we were greeted by excited and joyful employees who welcomed us and asked if we’d like to join the tour. The tour was indoors, and it began by watching a educational video about the wine making process and the history of the winery. Then, the tour guide walked us to an area where we had a high view of the vineyards, the containers where wine is made. She answered questions about the process. Lastly, we go back indoors to taste the wines (about 9 of them). We then proceeded downstairs to the wine shop.It is an extremely relaxing experience, only about 30 minutes long, but when it’s over you can hang out outside in the beautiful open area with trees and shade. So relaxing! I absolutely loved it.I also discovered my favorite wine as we did the wine tasting 😊.
We really enjoyed sitting under the large trees listening to the music on Saturday. I guess they have that every weekend. Be sure to bring your own chairs. They do not allow your own coolers to be brought in so if you are hungry you will have to Fork over a fairly decent amount of money for lunch and anything to drink. The wine tasting is nice. They have a very extensive store there as well.
Very nice visit. I went with a small group and we did the private wine tour. We had an exceptionally good time. It was well planned and there was a lot of interesting information and history about the Lakeridge Winery. The wine tasting was a really good time and again a lot of very good information about wines and how theyre made. After the tour we were able to go outside and enjoy the music. The grounds are very nice and there was a nice gentle breeze keeping everyone cool and comfortable. Food and drink were available for purchase. We had a great time with friends and Lakeridge Winery offered a really nice facility and a very enjoyable tour. They have two tours available, one is their free tour offering a sampling of wine and a tour of the winery. The second offering is their private tours which we enjoyed on this particular visit and it was enjoyable and very done. If you havent visited Lakeridge Winery I would strongly recommend an afternoon visit.
What an amazing way to spend a Sunday afternoon! Wine tasting (Ever had a wine slushy? They have them!! YUMMY), live music, being your lawn chair sit under the shade trees and relax in a amazing atmosphere. Definitely a place I will visit often.
This is absolutely one of my favorite wineries! Staff is amazing, fun and knowledgeable. Very clean facility. Amazing selection.
Loved being part of a wedding proposal wine tasting 😉 Eddie took my husband and I on a tour of the winery with another couple. He made it a fun experience as we tasted 9 different wines. All was complimentary. What we werent expecting was the surprise marriage proposal that happened to the other woman with us. Eddie turned on the bubbles, literally, and there was the happy moment. So glad we got this experience. Thank you everyone!
It was a great experience. My friend and I did the VIP tour, WOW! We had such a great time. And the best of it all was having Sarah as our tour guide; she was very informative and the sweetest person ever. If you ever get a chance to do this tour, ask for Sarah.Jackie & Heather

I thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon at this winery. The weather in Clermont was perfect - warm with a nice breeze.Plenty of personnel were available to assist or answer questions in the winery, store and outdoor venue. The musical duo for the afternoon was excellent, they played to the audience and I was impressed with their talent and song variety. Overall an enjoyable experience and I will return!
Very busy, but we did go on a Saturday afternoon and it would be a wonderful way to spend your afternoon we chose just to check it out. The free wine tasting is neat, a no hassle mini tour. They gift shop has an extensive array of goodies and of course the wine you can buy by the bottle or by the case what ever you want. Tha staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. I hope to come back again and enjoy the outdoor venue, music, and the delicious smelling food booths. Bring your lawn chair and have a relaxing time.
Video > Tour of facility > Tasting 1.Free TIP YOUR GUIDE! 2. Elevated VIP tasting TIP YOUR GUIDE!Vineyard is in its dormant state but beautiful nonetheless. They have spreads and sauces, in addition to wines in the storefront. The staff I engaged with Eddie (tour guideand Stuart (registerwere wonderful - def 10/10 personalities! They were friendly and knowledgeable. PLEASE TIP YOUR GUIDE. If you havent tried San Sebastian Winery, theyre a must see also AND they allow WELL BEHAVED dogs.
This place is really wonderful. Free wine tastings, guided tours and a lovely vineyards.
The video and the tour were exceptional. Was quite a surprise to be able to go through that before for the taste test. We sampled seven exquisite wines. Of course I loved the dry reds. The Cabernet was really good and so was the special reserve Cabernet. We ended up picking out a couple of bottles and some cheese to take back to the room with us. Place was wonderful, the staff were helpful and kind, and the wines are a real delight. Stop in, even if it means going out of your way. You will be glad you did. Be sure to check out my photos on google maps as well.
Had a good time. The food was good and the artist sang a good variety of songs . Bring your lawn chairs. They also had free wine tasting and tours. Admission was free. It was a packed crowd.
Amazing wine, even better staff. The tour abs trading were incredibly informative and fun! The best red and bubbly wines I’ve tried yet!
Great experience, we have a stroller and the staff is very helpful in accommodating us because theres a 2nd floor tour. Lovely place! Reasonable wine prices for both in bottle and case. I surely love all of it. Will definitely come back.
Great winery and weekend spot to go and relax and unwind. They had a great blues singer who played all afternoon. Drink prices are very, very reasonable while the food is a little expensive. Take the tour and bring a pilot chair!
This is a beautiful place for you to bring your family or just To pick up wine. They offer Live entertainment and food all at a great price and service. If your exclusively vegetarian or vegan, this is not your place to eat. The tour is free and the store offers a great selection. Kids are allowed to join the tour, but please don’t try to share your drink. The are very strict when it comes to kids and alcohol. The place is guarded by an officer and it’s really safe and friendly. Pets are not allowed. There are plenty of parking space, so don’t worry about peak hours. I loved the visit and I am planning to comeback with more friends very soon.
Thank you to Kim for a wonderful tour and tasting. She was very knowledgeable about the whole winemaking process from harvest to the bottling of the wine.I would highly recommend the VIP tour thank you to my daughter for setting it up for my birthday.
If youve never been before.. this is a great experience and environment for you and your significant other. Family oriented scene aswell. The staff were all great and pleasant. Live music. Food. Beautiful scenery. However, due to covid you couldnt walk through the vineyards.. wish wouldve added more stars for my review. Overall had a wonderful time.
Nice experience! Delicious wine selection! Cool trinkets and wine related gadgets!! Wine tour was very educational. There is food, plenty of parking and there was live music and people on the grass in lawn chairs. Cool place!
First of all the initial tasting is free for those who are 21 and older. There is a second tasting for $5 upstairs. That second one is for dessert wines. Then back downstairs to the shop, filled with wine. Ham, hot sauce, wine accessories and much more seasonal stuff. They even have candles poured into sliced wine bottles. Then on to outside...there is live music food charcuterie wine by the glass and more. I highly recommend the blueberry pomegranate wine slushy. Every single thing here was reasonably priced or free. A great place to spend a Saturday afternoon. Dont plan on staying late though. They close before dark.
Great outdoor venue. Live music, good wine, not too crowed, great views! Very well organized and now is the perfect time of year! If you want to eat here (you know I never wouldbut there are lots of options that did look yummy! Can’t go wrong with truffle fries!
Great winery! The winery was offering free wine tasting when we went and the tour was self guided. They offered a great variety of different kinds of wine. All of them were really good! I also like the fact that this winery offered a military discount!
Nice place to take your out of towners. Very clean, music on the weekends, and some nice tasting wines. My only 2 gripes is the ridiculous food prices, and they make no effort to conserve (recycle)
Awesome Vineyard. Beautiful setting. Awesome staff. We did the self guided tour and wine tasting. Thomas was our wine tasting server. Very knowledgeable about their products and business operations. We like the sweet wines so we got a bottle of the red & white. Awesome! We are from Michigan and definitely will be back. Maybe even have some shipped if available!
They have a free self guided walking tour with free wine tastings! If you come on the weekday and want addition wine tasting, they offer to other wines to sample for 5$. They currently have a free tasting for the wine slushie (which is so goodat the gift shop, try it if you can! Theirss a courtyard in the back of the building where you can enjoy the vineyard and they have outdoor seating there. You can purchase a bottle of wine and enjoy the views of the vineyard. On weekends they have events where you can enjoy the food and live music.
The free wine tasting was great! Love the Sunblush wine. Definitely check out the website if your interested in going. We had an amazing time.
This is an enjoyable location if you want to hang out, have a drink, listen to good music, and have a relaxing afternoon outdoors. We didn’t do the wine tour as we had the grandkids but they liked laying on the blankets and playing. The music was great and they have a Tastee Treat so we were able to grab a cone for the kids ($5/cone).The “food” was mediocre and didn’t have much flavor. It grossed me out that the people were preparing food and also handling money without changing their gloves. Everyone knows how dirty money is so that should really be addressed. I doubt anyone comes here for the food but that was a hygiene issue. I waited to have a lady who used the tongs and didn’t smash the pita with her hand after touching money. The wine and beer were very reasonably priced.
They have free self guided walking tours, you can get to see the wine bottling process and a great view of the vineyard from above. They offer free wine tasting to 21+, and they sell all of the wines and more on location. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The establishment was clean, organized and wide aisles for wheelchairs. They also offer VIP tours, and reserve wine tasting for a fee. Did I mention the are the largest winery and vineyard in the state of Florida. Nice little roadside stop, no reservations needed.
A nice local winery with lots of options from really dry to really sweet. Good friendly staff answering questions, providing suggestions. If it’s not a cloudy day, you can get a really nice sunset view too. Lots of outdoor space with benches.
Great place to bring the whole family. Great tour, wine tasting and you are able to purchase the wines you enjoyed during the tour. They have music and food to enjoy the outdoors.
This is such a beautiful place. If you are into wine it is definitely a place you must visit. Its free. You get to tour the place and learn a little bit of their history and process, at the end of the short tour you can get a taste of 6-8 different wines made there. The staff is very friendly and professional. They also have a gift shop with amazing and unique wine items. They have a schedule of different events that they host there during Saturdays and Sundays with live music. I definitely enjoyed my time there and recommend to visit to support local businesses and do something different.
