Probably the best lake side view in town with rooms facing out to the lake which you dont get anywhere else so for views alone for this place takes it. The price is fairly priced I would say with rooms ranging from around $50 USD p/n and again lake facing views, waking up to the morning view was simply amazing. The pool facilities, restaurant and bar were all pretty good so overall quite the neat package.Unto the areas of improvement the room I slept in unfortunately had cockroaches and loads of insects crawling about it was a total put off but I think not pretty so something to work on. The service felt kind of slow too so perhaps another area to improve on. Other than that hand a wonderful time - would highly recommend

We had a great time here, service was good, the manager upgraded our room due to a mix up and was a great host. Food was very good.

The waiters are courteous, the food is nice and the location is lovely facing lake Kariba.

The best part for me was waking up to a lake view. I enjoyed the hospitality, views and serenity.

So much improvement since I was last here a year ago! Highly recommended for holiday but also workshops

it has a good view of the lake but the workers have a very bad attitude especially in the shop and before you come out of the shop they ask for your recipt

Great place for a weekend, rooms need a bit of an upgrade. Service was alright. Food was good.

Location and ambience is excellent. The rooms are large but can be improved. Need for live news and other channels on the TVs otherwise the TVs are not useful. Old furniture and accessories in the rooms need replacement. Aside from this, the rooms are clean and well taken care of.

Serene environment. Lovely place to spend a holiday if you love some peaceful quiet time

The lake side rooms have the best view of the lake both during the day and at night.

There is not much more to add to the lodge , this was one of the best experiences I have had in Zambia. Lake Kariba is just as beautiful I want to say a very special thank you to all staff involved in all activities at the lodge and to management thank you for one amazing team you have . I will be back to explore all of Africa..

Its a wonderful place with great people. The management there is top notch. Their food is delicious and fresh all the time. The view from their rooms is beautiful 🥰🥰 waking up to the lakes waves has been so relaxing 😌😌 would recommend 10/10🙌🏽

This is a place to visit...has amazing view of the Zambezi river. The meals are top notch. Would be nice to offer free boat ride to customers though.

The Room was big like a flat with lake view. Everything was clean and well organized. Breakfast was excellent and the stuff super nice. I will definitely book again.

The view is amazing, they can do better with their rooms the number of cockroaches coming out of the beds wasterrifying.

Its a lovely place to go to very serene,food is fantastic and has nice viewing points and not forgetting a helipad aswel..

The ambiance is lovely...but the service sucks....we waited for 2 hours for food and drinks which wasnt even served to us....despite our constant follow ups and constant reassurance, and the people coming after us been served...so thats a big no for me

15 mins waiting for menu & 1 hours waiting for cooking.No any flavors, no any herbs.Such a pity for the food.Only recommend view and coffee here.

EXTEMELY BAAAAAAD attitude!!!First, If you don’t allow puppy pug you can tell us before we order food. But you did NOT.Second, when other client are scared of the pug you could have at least felt apologies to us when you wanted us to shift table while we have started eating, instead of blaming us in a RUDE way of talking. Remember we are also your customer.Third, after you shifted our table, the other manager sent a waiter to come and tell us we were AGAIN not in the right table to eat. It made us totally lost our appetite.Fourth, this is the first restaurant I’ve ever known that offers buffet but you can take ONLY ONCE of very small meat. 🙂Anyway, it extremely ruined my mood of eating and drinking and I will NEVER recommend a restaurant like this!The worst restaurant experience in Zambia!!!

This is not a 3 star standard hotel room and the only one good thing about this hotel is the lake viewThe time for waiting for the dinner after normal 22:00 is 2 hours and we have not so good food that not deserve waiting.Around 23:30 we are having a bath and there were furiour knocking by the door and also by.the window of our bathroom and no reason why even we asked him who is not even.a staff maybe who just opened the door and come inside through with girls inside at 24:00!!The next day when we check out, explaning all things to them, no explanation was made to us and we did not get any sincere apology from that guy.After all, this is not certainly a good.experience for lake safari and no more visit from our comapny ever again in our lives.Be aware for.your own safety.

The atmosphere is absolutely amazing! The view of the Kariba, the food and service are all amazing. They also have the best pizza too 😂

We have just returned from this past weekend holiday with family celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary. They have great sceneries of the lake and beautiful greens. The food is great as well as their pool.. Downside is the rooms need some face-lift. The aircon is old and noise, the guest rooms have no phones, you have to walk to reception if you need something and TVs didnt work too. No proper reason was given. Overall we enjoyed ourselves.

Very nice place ,good for a gate away to just sit and relax and just Marvel at the amazing view , there rooms are nice and clean really enjoyed my Stay and looking forward to going back, the meals are delicious especially the breakfast . They were some things I did not like, the first was that the wifi does not work at all. The second thing is that they have TVs in each room with some form of entertainment system pre-installed , it completely does not work, I asked them to have a look at it but no one came to check it out.

Was okay, they have order in the kitchen/dinning, good food and usually fresh. Rooms are neat and perfect customer service, the gym is well equipped and closer to the rooms.

Lake safari has beautiful location and great views of the lake. If only they can improve on room cleanness and the service at the restaurant that would be awesome. All in all its a great place to stay but be open minded to some disappointment

The bar was adequately stocked. Though they had no tequila. Wasnt a room guest or resident here but customer service at pool area was good. They are bar stools and table inside the pool. The surroundings are beautiful. Parking is adequate. They are an FNB cash plus agent, do you can deposit and withdraw money from fnb account.

Lovely views and service.Perhaps the linen on the beds and the pillow covers could be more white. Its either its white or its not. Many people sleep in these beds and the cleaner they look, the more comfort one gets

Serene environment, very wonderful, the extra green is on point and the water view is amazing, highly recommend for anyone that loves a good place, good food and friendly staff.They have awesome cruises too.

Insect filled rooms with brittle towels. TV was not working, the shower drains were clogged! Other than the delicious meal and serene environment at the pool/bar area, it would have been a total disappointment.

Service is a bit slow but great place with a great view. Food was great with exceptional prices though lacking some salt and the wings need more flavor.The owner is such a breath of fresh air and very hospitableOverall great experience would definitely recommendNot sure about the rooms though

I went to lake safari lodge to have a meal and drinks, the waiter brought us two menus, a drinks menu and a food menu, as we ordered the prices looked too good to be true so we asked the waiter if these were indeed the correct prices and he confirmed that they were. We proceeded to order from the menus. When our food came the wrap I ordered did not have the ingredients shown on the menu, I asked the waiter to bring back the menu in case I saw incorrectly. I did not see the waiter after that... later the bill came and the prices were higher than what was on the menu. We requested to see the manager and we were told the manager is sleeping and they are not allowed to wake her up. We then said we would like to speak to the waiter before we pay, the waiter just sent the man back and said let them pay the prices in the menu. He did not have the courtesy to come to speak to us at any point. We still have no idea if truly the manager was unavailable or if the staff did not want to allow us to express our grievances. I would not recommend going there. The staff clearly need more supervision

The views are great. The rooms are good but they have no mosquito nets so they are sprayed with chemicals. I really missed the mosquito nets and news channels on the TV. The food was too oily even for for boiled dishes.
