Lake Ponca Park in Ponca City

Beautiful, and well maintained

Was amazing

We attended a childs birthday party in one of the shelters. It was very dirty. Trash cans were full of garbage. So disappointing.

4th of July was extra special. Just stopped to jump in the water with our dogs and cool off. Water was warm and beautiful.

Its a big park. Needs a nap of the pavilions, but the spillway was cool. Plenty of parking. Was there for a wake, but all things considered, a nice place

Clean bathrooms, nice shaded area and a fun little place to let the kiddos play.

I was raised here and could tell you personally it is a very well maintained lake plus it has some new campsites getting built! I go here sometimes to get away from the house or even go fishing if thats your thing. One of the newest things we have out there is some scooters that go pretty darn fast.

One of my favorite local spots!Clean playground, beautiful scenery, good boat ramp, swimming area, sand volleyball courts, multiple pavilions, and in the summer, there are kayaks and scooters to rent. Good fishing spot too.5 stars

We love getting out and by the water

I must say that its well maintained and clean. The concrete track they just put in by the beach area is really nice. There are two water fountains that I personally seen next to benches to rest from walking. There are docks to fish off of next to a playground for the kids.

Enjoyed our visit to this lake. There is a lot of shore line. East side has a spacious swim beach. Kayaks, single and double, are available to rent on weekends and some holidays.

Had a great time watching 4th of July fireworks!!

Was there for the the 4th of July hands down one of the best firework show. No bad seat in the place for the show get there early if you want a parking place tho

It has a sandy beach and plenty of shallow water for small children. Paved road access and easily seen from the main road. There is a boat dock. They have picnic tables and lots of green grass instead of dirt ground. There is a restroom. They have a play area for kids with equipment. Just across the bridge is a couple of ponds where you see ducks. Its at the lake but close to Ponca City.

Ponca city lake was a really nice to visit after being gone for 5 years. The only thing that I would recommend is that the city might clean the shallows a bit because I had cut my foot on something. But other than that, great experience.

This is one of the only parks my 1.5 year old AND 3 year old can play together in. They have padded fake grass that Is gentle on my babies knees (she still crawls). Not to mention that the view is gorgeous!

My daughter and I were needing to kill time before an appointment. So Google parks in Ponca City for directions to Lake Ponca Park. Its a very nice park with a large play area for kids and lots of picnic tables also, also looks like they have boating and other activities.

Lake is great family attraction. With all the rain weve had, Ponca Lake has handled it well. The city have made great improvements over the last few years. Great place to take the boat and skis...

We road the mt bike trails today. Very rocky and challenging. I had to walk my bike through lots of parts. I was told the course is 7 miles. Beautiful area, golf course there too.

Love Ponca Lake! The swim beach is great, with shade trees and sand, and the playground is nice too! There can be quite a bit of trash on the beach, but the city seems to do their best to keep it picked up...especially since its free to enjoy! All the more reason for beach/lake goers to clean up after themselves!

This is a very nice city park to spend a day at, it has a good playground and a swimming area, the beach at the swimming area is wonderful. The park is well groomed and very clean. There is a few shelters located around the water for a picnics and cooking. There is also a good public bathroom.

This is one of the most beautiful parks. I have lived in large cities my whole life, and this is by far my favorite park. It is perfect for picnics or romantic walks, so well maintained and peaceful. My husband and I actually danced under the stars here... Definitely a great place to make memories.

Dumb rules, no fun, no free docks that you can meet people at, too strict,no swimming at Sunset, no life guard...Barely ever cleaned, rocky mid beach...Good for sun bathing on the beach and spending money on not worth it items.And if the water is really really high, its good for swimming. The playground is good, good for picnics, bathrooms that are surprisingly well taken care of, and a "shower" thing by them
