Peaceful, scenic and National park nearby
The place to visit for sighting the Topic,Impala,Giraffes,Zebra and if lucky the Leopard.A good overnighter trip.Great for cycling enthusiasts too.l as cycling through the park is allowed
one of the smaller National Parks in Uganda but still very nice. No Lions and Elaphants in this NP, thats why you can do walking and cycling Safaris.
It’s the smallest national park and if you visit the others national park you probably won’t fine anything new. But it’s nice and it’s possible to have walking tours or biking tours.
Listening to the whispers of the wild and spending time with the beautiful peaceful animals was heart warming
We saw a leopard on a night safari and were able to do a walking safari in the daytime
Great place to take on your adventure tours
Game drive was the best seeing monkeys, Hippos, Giraffes, wathogs, boat sailing and many others.
Outstanding place, peaceful, full of zebras. Dont miss the top of the hill view.
Yes Ive been to this place quite often but havent got enough yet, soon going back as I write this but man its a whole lot of adventure, tranquility, serenity and ecology
You get to experience the wildlife intimately in LMNP. Get up close and personal with bike with the zebras, impala, buffalo, etc on horseback, bike tours or even walking tours! Lovely Savannah scene, no conserved area in Uganda with that particular landscape!
Life Is found in lake Mburo. Game drive, open roof, playing favorite music, hair being blown by wind... I mean why not. Its worth the happiness. Go there you wont regret
With an area if 370 square kilometers, Lake Mburo National Park is the smallest National Game Park in Uganda and closest to Kampala, the Capital City of Uganda. The park has a variety of animal species ranging from Zebras, Buffalos, Impalas, Antelopes, Giraffes, Warthogs, among others. A number of activities happen at the park including fishing in the Lake Mburo Waters.
It has been the best experience.Accomodation, the meals, the Warm welcome from the tour guides( Afande Bonny and Afande M........

If u want to see Zebras this is the place to go. The zebras are many, incredible seeing how they coexist with the communities and even graze with the cows, goats n sheep. Giraffes are also here, those tall majestic gentle giants, warthogs, vultures, buffaloes, common eland, oribi and so much more
Beautiful wild life adventures...Mostly the hippos
If you miss lake mburo national park Uganda you nothing to tell about wild life
Whispers in the Wilderness..! Beautiful park to go chill and relax away from Kampala. It is the nearest national park to Kampala
More animal species should be re introduced to the National park and human activities around the park should be restricted
The most kid friendly park in uganda, thousands of zebra easily blending in the community , we saw giraffe and my daughter stood almost 10meters away.
Best National Park to visit with kids. Popular for its nature walks within park and outside, plus an amazing cultural experience of the Hima people.
Nature is so beautiful. The impala, zebra, buffalo, giraffe and many others are a sight to behold😍😍. The sunset at the lake is breathtakingly beautiful
Sometimes referred to as the Zebra park just a few Kms from the capital Kampala. Well known to have animals like the zebras, elands, buffaloes, hippos, etc. Worthy to have walking safaris since the predators are just leopards.
Lake Mburo is the closest Savannah Park in uganda, good administration, cheap and descent Accomodation, where you can take pics with giraffes and where you can closely watch errands , it’s certainly the smallest bust safest National Park in uganda
Absolutely highly recommended day trip to the national park! The place is very peaceful and full of animals. you can easily spot wild zebras and giraffes. Go at the very early morning to catch the animals before the sun gets up fully. The roads are bit muddy and bumpy. Our car got stuck twice in the mud so get ready for a push exercise
This national park is the one with the largest population of zebras in Uganda. There is also a large population of impalas. Obviously many other animals like elephants, antelopes, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos, leopards ... But there are no lions
Lake Mburo is the only park in Uganda with eland, impala and klipspringer. It is also home to the largest population of zebra in Uganda estimated at about 5,000 and probably contains the highest concentration of leopard found anywhere in Uganda. Buffalo, waterbuck, topi and warthog are also very common. Reedbuck and oribi can also be spotted in the open valleys. Hyena, genet, bush pigs and white tailed mongoose are often seen on night game drives.Incase you would like to arrange a safari to Lake Mburo National Park and other national parks in Uganda, kindly reach out to Chimpanzee Tours and Travel Uganda. Our team will provide with all the necessary info.#chimpanzeetoursandtraveluganda
I remember meeting the zebra at the park entrance; as if they were there to welcome us! And the seeing lots and lots of impalas, more zebra, topi, waterbuck, warthogs. It was all impressive; lots of mammals in such a small park! The varied landscape made the tour more interesting
It was my first time to visit the place, and I used to hear of zebras there.these looked very unique and with cute colours. Theyre friendly to human beings wish to visit it for the next time and enjoy the nature
Small National Park not far from Entebbe. Nice lake full of hippos to camp or stay over night, if you would like to experience night safari life.
Very nice, georgios, lovely and most importantly lots of Wildlife.Very beautiful Place.Inbox me for cheap tours to this Place.
Lake Mburo national park is the nearest park west of the capital Kampala where you can see rare animals in short drive the park cover about 370 square kilometers in this park am sure 70% to see aToppi, burchells zebra among other
Boat cruise available. Affordable drinks. Best customer service. Wonderful animal views.
You will find Giraffe, Zebra,Hippo, and few more from very near to vehicle. Think of taking guide with you as roads are confusing and you may end up wasting time for searching internal roads without watching any animal.
Best place..As we can able to see giraffes from very near..Lake view is awesome..For campaign its best..Wish to again.
Best place to see Zebras in Uganda. A walking safari is the best experience in this Ugandas smallest Savannah national game park.Visit Lake Mburo national park in western Uganda, its so beautiful and diverse with a lot of wildlife.
A great National park, there are no large predators which means you are able to do a walking Safari or even a horseback Safari which my girlfriend did. plenty of zebra antelope and giraffes to be seen and nice scenery too.
beautiful park blessed with Zebras, antelopes, leopards, one lion and many other wild animals
Beautiful place! We saw many Zebras and Impalas, and lots of interesting birds.
Amazing national park full of wildlife and adventure. So many zebras, deers, birds etc.it was a thrilling experience to move in jungle ride.
Lake Mburos charm lies in the astonishing diversity of game, from the zebra to impala, buffalo, leopard and hippo.🦓🐆🐃It is less congested by tourists which gives you an opportunity to learn a lot more without hindrance. Be sure to go for other activities like Boat cruise and the safari drive. You will leave with great memories.
The safari rides are a lot of fun here and it is not very crowded by other tourists so we had long stretches without being bothered. I suggest you check out the Hippos by the lake shores! Amazing creatures which come out to roam at night near camping grounds
Great destination close to Kampala. You begun to see wildlife even before getting to the UWA office. Great scenic views and birding along the lake by boat ride. Only negative is good service takes too long and lowers the overall experience.
Very beautiful place, with a lot of birds(IBARich is biodiversity and the ecosystem here is like no other..must visit park when you visit Uganda and with excellent lodges
the park a variety of wild animals mainly the zebras which are in plenty. the scenery is grea twith many land marks. the journey to the lake is filled with lots of thing and finally when you get to the lake, its just marvelous
The park is very nice. Take a tour on the boat.Strange policy of money charging. It costs 40$ per man, but there a lot of check points. We stay at Mburo safari lounge. It is beautiful, but at the end they charge us 15K shillings for glass of juice. And we were not warned about the price. There were a lot of juice, so we feel cheated.
