Lake Leslie Tourist Park - in Warwick, Australia
Was a nice place to camp close to the dam but we got out fishing rods stollen, told the staff and they werenβt interested in doing anything to help.
Excellent camp great location, friendly staff, great price
Amazing weekend spent on this camping. Great place, great structure. Sunset at the lake is awesome! definetly recommend and will be back!
The perfect place for a getaway. Away from all the hustle & bustle. Cabins. Cottage. Powered & unpowered camping. Pool. Kiosk. 32 acres. Pet friendly. On site management. Secure access. Well worth a visit. Highly recommend.
Powered sites are very rough after lots of rain. Very uneven sites. Charged an Admin fee for cancellation.
Dirt driveways throughout needs grading, ruined suspension, massive potholes and divets, sky high prices and Adams weekly prices kept rising for a homeless family with special needs children to just be in a Tent on grass, the prices didnt add up to whats online, very bad experience, certainly made us and our kids feel unwelcomed, with many Parks in Australia well never return again, amenities arent disinfected just using handwash, we have worked in a caravan park before cleaning and gardening and theres just too many corners cut and too high priced...
Was a great place to stay, just too high priced for a low cost managed park. High fees for Eftpos, ATM, Firewood, Milk and other shop items, very high priced and feel of unwelcoming. Never again
Ok but hardly any showers or toilets for the guests and the place seemed understaffed for the Easter long weekend we lined up for over an hour just to get in the camp ground
Not bad place to stay but they have the worst showers, small no where to put your clothes with one hook for your towel, pretty hard to shower get dressed without getting everything wet.
We love this place.very peaceful. clean. well run .would stay again
We are enjoying our stay we are looking at stay anther week very relaxing peaceful and a lovely view amenities are clean
Poor amenities, roads need grading still gouged out from the floods. Nice dam.
Considering that it was the Easter long weekend and very popular, all of the team had the park clean as could be expected. Great job π and great to see the dam full. $14 per person per night is great value for the amenities and proximity to the dam. Staff were friendly and helpful π THANK YOU
What a peaceful picturesque spot. Loads of space, birds and beautiful views.
Stayed a Lake Leslie Tourist Park for a week. As myself and my partner and daughter stayed in a unit and my son and wife and grandchildren camped on a no powered site. We all had a great time. My daughter and grandchildren loved the pool and play ground. A big thumbs up to the staff as they are helpful and they respond very quickly to any problem you may have. The only thing I can say is that you need a dark curtain in the unit that we stayed in as the floodlight from the shop shines in on the kids faces with the bunks beds. Other then that all good and we will be back.
Best Family, pet friendly camp spot we have been to. Adam and the team are friendly and accommodating we love staying here, amenities are always clean. Hot showers, washing machines and a swimming pool right on Leslie Dam.Next time we will bring the dogs for sure.
Its the Only dog friendly park, good for a large group which we had. Bit disappointed pool shut at 5.pm in 35 degree heat..prices varied,we all got charged a different price, some were charged $20 a night unpowered some were charged 25. But overall we had a great time, lake is over 100 percent full..Water was not drinkable as claimed..
Great stay again friendly and clean, plenty of shaded areas. Were back for 2021 Xmas holidays
Owner was very rude dont even know why.we are quiet and polite and I left everything clean. not much to do. Pretty boring park and very basic cabins.
This review is a bit overdue, but we had a great group stay at Lake Leslie Tourist Park for the Warwick Rodeo! As first time Rodeo goers, this campsite didnt disappoint. There was banter with the lady on reception right from when we arrived to us leaving! Soft lad really did enjoy his cabin, whilst the rest of us camped!Georgina & her partner were kind enough to give us lifts to and from the Rodeo, which was really accommodating and highly appreciated!Adam was really helpful & also helped fo fix one of our group members head lamp. The team also let us borrow some jump cables after we left the interior lights on and flattened our car battery!!Overall, great clean facilities, plenty of fun at the pool, good vibes and an awesome bunch of staff!Looking forward to returning next year already!
Basic cabins but are perfectly fine for the weekend. Pool was good maybe needs more BBQs.
I stayed previously at this park. I came with my daughter and partner and two very well behaved dogs.we are quiet and we spent most of our time in the area driving around warwick and a little bit at lake lesley so basically were only at the csbin at night to sleep yet this *pet friendly" park i stayed complained i left dog hair even tbough my dog sheds hardly any hair and what little it did i cleaned it and they complained they had to vacuum my unit because of a little hair from the dog left. even though i left unit spotless and cleaned up what little hair their was as best as i could .I was not giving me a cabin in great conditon in the first place. Your supposed to clean the cabin after each guest anyway. I tried to work out with them and they were nasty to me then blocked me . Dont make it pet friendly if your gonna complain about some dog hair. Terrible experience in a very basic for what you pay for cabin.
Great place,. Big open spaces. Pet friendly. My mate gave it 3 stars but hes a bit precious. π€£
Nice spot. Amenities let the place down when it is busy. Amenities could be better set up to put your clothes on while having a shower. Other than that good escape.
Awesome place to camp, the toilets were very well maintained and the lady at the office was very friendly. There was plenty of free space to set up camp and it was mostly flat. I would highly recommend staying, Iβll be coming back again soon.
A very pleasant stay staff lovely and check in easy. Dated facilities but extremely clean.
Great for camping and caravans. Clean facilities, close to Leslie Dam boat ramp.
What a great place stayed 3 nights unpowered and this place has all that you need took the dog kids swam in the pool clean toilets laundry staff in the office great. What more can you ask for and a great price will be sure to return again and again !!!!
Absolutely love this park! Just over 2 hours drive from Brisbane, the parks amenities are always clean, the showers are hot and there is plenty of room so you arent on camping on top of your neighbours. The little shop has everything you need and is so well priced. Perfect place to stay with your family, dogs and the boat/jetski. Thanks again for another perfect weekend!
We really appreciated how helpful and accommodating the people that run this place were. We dumped a short notice booking on them, and they really went out of there way to help us out. The whole experience was warm and friendly, with a touch of country hospitality thrown in. Thanks Guys for looking after us!
This place has a nice pool and a playground. Washing machines available. Large space, lots of trees but not much shades. Restrooms are located on one side, a bit of walk from some of the unpowered sites. No access to drinking water. Lake is on the other side of the road. We went in spring, you can cross the lake if you go further down the road from the campsite.
BEST CAMP SPOT WITH YOUNG KIDS !We have a little man that is 16months and a 8 week old and this is the best place to camp pool is so nice and out little man loved it !The facilities are so clean and the cleaner was one of my favorite people such a lovely guy and so freaking funny !The site itself is amazing you can choose where you want to set up and there is so many spaces with trees and shade! And a dam a short walk or drive across the road !Best place would 100% recommend to all my camping friends !
Wish there was a better way of notifying guests when there is a fire ban. Especially when half the stove top doesnt work well in the cabin.
What a paradise! π Absolutely loved our camping trip and stay at the park. The dam was so close for a day of swimming, kayaking and boating. Cant wait to go back π
Nice, peaceful area. Cheap and clean. Just the right spot after a long day of driving! Definitely want to go back to fish at the local lake!
Not a bad place. Particularly if your a boatie. They havenβt been getting much rain down there so itβs looking a bit dry
Didnβt feel very welcomed by the locals. However, the rest of our experience was enjoyable. It was really easy to book and the people who run the place were very nice and helpful.
A lovely park to visit, could not fault anything.Staff and residents very friendly and helpful.Amenities spotless!Gardens and pool very well maintained.Highly recommended this park. Will definitely visit again.
Lots of space to camp both cabin and tent style. $13 per night was Ok, considering hot showers, pool, open fire place etc. Bit of a pain organising the PIN for the gate, especially if after hours, but once sorted, Easy to get in and out
Lots if space here. Adam has the amenities clean at all times. Prices are cheap even in the shop things are not overpriced. Ice $4.00 bag. Nice to know its a fair place to stay at with very friendly staff.
A nice little caravan park at a Dam. We really enjoyed our stay and it also broke our trip up on the way to the Gold Coast. Take your fishing gear and enjoy a nice quiet stay.
Friendly people safe and secure great place for a break. New amenities bloke being built with wheelchair access. Pool great in warm weather. Heaps of room 32 acres to choose from. Gas firewood and general goods available at shop. If the park cant assist with any problem you may have, they will go out of their way to point you in the right direction. Clean and tidy cabins and amenities. Added extra - close location to stocked impoundment.
Quiet peaceful park, plenty of room, nice showers with the exception of no mat beside shower so standing in sand from others when dressing. Will definitely make a return visit
Frank & Dawn have left Lake Leslie Tourist Park and moved to Warwick after 7 years. As managers & jack of all trades, it is good to retire & it has been a great pleasure working with some of the best campers in Australia, over the years. We have made many good friends and we would like to thank you all for making our job great. Just remember Dawn & I have left the park, however, the park is still there, you can still enjoy a good holiday. Camping is based only on how good you make it. Support each other in storm times & enjoy your time away from work. Dawn & I will miss you all & we wish you all a great 2018. We have only moved into town, not the other side of the world & we look forward to meeting you all again some day.Best WishesFrank & Dawn.So sad these managers have left after 7 years. The park is already run down, there was no hot water, the showers and toilets were dirty, there was vomit and poo in the womens shower block on new years day, man sorts rubbish bins very noisily at 5am, dogs run into your camp & owners are very rude & childish. Wont be going back anytime soon.
Im very happy with my stay. Booked for 3 nights ended up staying for 7 nights. Area is beautiful, quite and peaceful. Staff has been helpful. Amenities are good for for the area. Will be definitely be coming back.
Great weekend! Cabins were cosey and heated. The staff were so lovely and accommodating. Attended a wedding here, and the staff really went out of their way to help with the preparations to ensure it was a magical day. Will definitely be coming back!
Nice place to chill out and do some fishing. My only complaint is to the, thoughtless, ignorant, morons who leave their RUBBISH laying around the side of the dam.And then there are those who try to hide it in amongst the shubbery.Like hello do you think we are all blind.??Gives new meaning to PIGS.
We stayed there for the first time over the easter weekend. We could not fault the park. Such friendly staff and even thought the facilities are limited at the moment, we had no problem if you didnt go in peak times. My son caught his first Murray Cod from his kayak. It went a massive 85cm. We will definitely be back. Thank you for such great hospitality.
There was a metal pole with a nail sticking out of it in the bedroom. How unprofessional, cabins are very basic and uncomfortable and unclean. Staff are very cold and unfriendly and not nice people. Never going backWorst experience ever
Loved spending a quiet new years here. Friendly and helpful staff, clean and maintained grounds, great facilities.Thankyou Lake Leslie Tourist Park!I will definately be back!π
