Its too bad our city has let Birch cove beach go unattended for so long. The beachfront is rocky with sticks and garbage. Shame

This is the most beautiful active lake . In winter there is skating and in summer it is a hub of activities. Never a dull moment on this lake . The playground has so many things for the kids and exercise equipment for the adults

Beautiful Lake. Nice tourist attraction. Lots of children play things and a lovely walk way along the lake.

I visited for a run around Lake Banook. For the most part it is flat, with the only climb is on the western side of the lake. Going around it once is about five kilometers.The run was beautiful - other runners are friendly, you can watch rowers practise, go through a treed area, or along a boardwalk.
