Great authentic food

very beautiful place, with a very beautiful view at the edge of the sea.

Lakay Bar restaurant is definitely one of the meeting points on the boulevard in Cap-Haitien. Given their location, parking is very lacking during busy periods. The food is good and the service too. A little stop from time to time when you are in Cap-Haitien would not be a bad idea.

Well lets just say I love the pepperoni pizza. Its one of the top and most affordable restaurant in Cap-Haitian. However, due to the inflation and an unstable exchange rate in Haiti, their prices is very volatile. It seems that every time I go there, the price has changed. Perhaps the owner should put all prices in US currency and if someone wants to pay in Gourdes, they should refer to the central bank daily exchange rate.

Their conch is out of this world. The service is also pretty fast. I wish i could eat there everyday. The place is clean. Prices can be high for some dishes.

Perfect location for a welcome dinner/rehearsal dinner for my wedding guests, most of which have never been to Haiti. Anne Claude and her staff were awesome!! The food was ridiculously delicious and she allowed me to customize the menu for a large group. I also requested a DJ and my guest were able to purchase drinks at a cash bar. The back of the restaurant was reserved for my guests while regular patrons utilized the front of the restaurant. We were able to use the mic for a couple of quick words and danced to great music. All in all, this was the perfect vibe.

The food and vibe here was great. The pizza alone was the best dish of the evening. Almost the best Ive ever had anywhere. I could have easily eating here every night during my stay. There was a dance floor inside and tables to eat inside as well, but we ate outside and it made for a better eating experience and night out. Would definitely come here again!

Food was tasty. But salad or fries or plantains were missing. For the price they could have made an effort. And if they ran out they should have said something.

Great vibe. Great food. Nice decor. Service is different, cant find the right word to define/explain it yet. You cant be in a rush, especially at night (dinner time). For example, in our first visit our waitress was serving a lot of tables and there were extra staff members who were available. Regardless, we had a great time. Also, side cultural note - in Haiti it is common to go to a restaurant just for drinks and share an appetizer or a dessert. You can still be seated like you were having a three-course meal. Overall, still recommend Lakay! Bon appétit!!

Decent food, nice atmosphere. Its a safe bet to go when you re staying in that area of the bay. Get some goat and Prestige- you cant go wrong with that.

Delicious haitian recipes available there. Attrative and clean. Very popular in the area. Each time I go to Cap Haitien, I pass there even at once.

Lakay is one of my favorite restaurant! Very cozy place to hang out with family, friends or colleagues. The staff is friendly. The food is delicious! Very nice atmosphere. After a long day can just go there for a drink and relax!

I love this place. If you like Las Olas or down town Hollywood you will love this place. This should be your 1st stop when you visit Haiti.

Went to a concert here (J-Beatz and DJ Hot were performinghad a nice time. Went back a few times to eat, food is great. If your in town stop by, you will not regret it.

Not bad as place, finding attractive the fact to sit down and listen to good compas music whiling siping some cognac shot or eat something to appreciate the haitian gastronomy. Come to see by yourself, very recommended!!!!

Very zesty spices for my dudes love the chairs they look beautiful and also sturdy, I suggest they get more chairs like that. Look forward to some nice chairs!

Its close to le Picolet Hotel where we stayed and food was reasonably priced and portions were adequate for a family. I though the food was tasty especially the fried goat. It offered most of the usual Hatien food items as well as ice cream so long as it was vanilla. I was pleased at only waiting about 20mins for our food, thats normal for island time! It was clean had adequate staff and offered a dance floor with DJ and separate bar for adults looking for a night out. Its right off the beach and we enjoyed almost every item on the menu in our four day stay.

Great outside decor and fun ambiance but I wasnt impressed by the food 🍲. They had a few items missing from the menu. I would go again just for the ambiance.

The food is fresh and amazing. I stayed in Cap-Haitian for 2 weeks, my family and I would come here almost every day. Wonderful place next to the ocean.

Very nice food. All natural and local. Nice ambiance in an atmosphere of welcoming service and closed and opened spaces. Music nights are a plus but not suitable for all. A must to dine in and place to visit in Cap Haitien
