Lagrilla - Steak house in Koyang, South Korea
I had a pasta carbonara today. It was good to have something European instead of Korean.Atmosphere in the restaurant is very nice with clean design at the same time very cozy. You can see the chefs in the kitchen and the view over the small stream out side is nice. The carbonara though was cooked by a chef not knowing what the taste an texture should be. Too much cream and less Parmesan. It was too costly for the quality. They need to hire a European or sen one of them to Europe for a month.
The food here was so good! However, I think I enjoyed the pizza more than the pasta😂
I love this restaurant.Food, place, service, everything was great.Ill be soon again.
Excellent food, good taste and very good service. The menu is more pricy than average, but adequate to the location and standard of the restaurant.Pizza and pasta both recommended alongside the steak menu.
Usual Lagrillia chain but this place was pretry good. A bit noisy to have a decent talk but the food was tasty, located right by the Cheonggyecheon, and the service was good! A bit pricy but you can get some discounts with some of the usual membership cards.
Nice and clean place the portion is big if you dont eat that much. Their seafood spaghetti was good, the pizza is tasty here. We enjoy the food and service it a good place to hang out or spend the time with friends & family the dessert was ok.
Good Italian bistro. Options include pasta, pizza, risotto and steak, among other things. I ordered the pizza and found it very tasty. They offer nice small snacks while you are waiting for the food. The location is also very good. Prices are not low, but they are not too high either.
Food is good (outstanding sirloin!and wine offering is really nice. One less good point: after ordering the food comes very fast and you dont have the time to finish one course when the other course is already there...
We love Korean food but wanted something different. This Italian restaurant is nice, well placed, decent prices and good food. Excellent service and waiters speak English.
On a Saturday night in the city it seemed quite hard to find a restaurant which wasn’t fully booked, so despite being a single diner I was relieved that this place managed to find a table, despite there being a wait of almost an hour. The wait was well worth it though and a great meal followed! The menu is populated fully with photos of each dish which makes for immediate reassurance for those unfamiliar with the city. The range of food was also great, clearly focussing mainly on steaks but there’s a good few other options available, although vegetarians may be less impressed. The atmosphere was decent and the kitchen is semi-open which was reassuring. The waiting staff were friendly and I felt at ease in the centre of the dining area.I settled on the mushroom soup starter and rib risotto main. One of the delights of the restaurant appeared to be the ‘cook yourself’ steak, with most of the other diners getting this brought to their tables. But I was impressed with my selection all the same. It was also nice for the wine list to offer half bottles of wine which were continually attended to during the meal by the waiting staff. The food dishes themselves were brought far too quickly. The starter arrived in less than ten minutes and the main dish was brought before even I’d set the fork down for the main. This did make the experience rather less relaxing but fortunately I still couldn’t complain about the quality. Everything was really tasty and well cooked, as well as the presentation being good. The waiting staff were friendly throughout and upon paying the bill, which is done back at the entrance desk, the staff were equally as pleasant and made my custom feel welcome and appreciated. The prices were great considering the quality and amount of food food, in a stylish setting. Overall I was impressed and would certainly return.
What a fantastic find this was! After a day of venturing around Seoul, seeing touristy sites, and a lovely walk down by the stream, we were in the mood for some Western food (after eating mainly Korean food, for 10 days). We found La Grillia randomly, and were both so pleasantly impressed! The food in fantastic! The portions are great, the prices are decent, the service is superb. We had such an amazingly delicious dinner, and both knew that this had just become a favorite place in Seoul, and that we will be going back to it, a lot. Every dish that went by from the kitchen looked incredible, and we cant wait to try some more of them. I highly recommend it if youre looking for incredible steak, pasta, roasted chicken, etc.
Good food, good location and the price is in the expensive side
It was difficult deciding between a 3-star or 4-star rating. On one hand, the basics have been done right - pasta was perfectly al dente, and simple dishes like the aglio olio were cooked to perfection with a generous heap of garlic. On the other hand, some dishes very clearly had been altered to suit Korean tastebuds. Now, this is not bad in and of itself, but if youre looking for authentic italian food, this may not be the place. For instance, we ordered what appeared to be a Porchetta. If it was intended to be a Porchetta, it certainly didnt taste like Porchetta usually does, and neither did it have the usual herbs like rosemary, sage, or fennel. It is perhaps best described as an Asian pork roast in an italian restaurant - if it was described as such, it would have been a great dish because it was well-cooked, and juicy!I also ordered a Seafood Cioppino pasta. Whilst i do not mind spicy food, the Cioppino was more of a hybrid Korean-Italian Spicy Seafood stew that even had a whole green birds eye chilli inside. There was none of the usual Seafood-y aroma or flavour associated with a Cioppino. Instead, the flavours were overpowered by a hit of heat and tomatoes. All in, we had a filling dinner, at a reasonable price. But I wouldnt return.
The steak was presented at the table in a ball of fire. Literally - see photos. But nonetheless was medium rare perfection.
If you’re in Seoul, and craving good and affordable Pasta, look at La Grilla for a good meal and a good deal.My order was the garlic shrimp scampi with really fresh prawns cooked perfectly and the pasta was also cooked perfectly al dente.
Very good Restaurant~♥
Good food with great ambience
Is a nice place to go if you are tired of korean food and you are european.I appreciate the food and the quality but is a kind of italian restautant not a proper one.Is good 2 give a try.
Very nice food indeed
Its just okay. Bit expensive.
The food here was truly outstanding. The atmosphere is elegant and tasteful. I ordered the cheese pasta, it came with abalone, octopus, porcini mushrooms and green chili peppers. I washed it down with a glass of red wine. I would highly, highly recommend this restaurant!
Not bad actually little bad
Beautiful piace. Quit location and good different menù.
Great to hang out with friends after work. Food is great!
Excellent food
Great dining experience, good ambience and decor with very tasty reasonably priced food.
Good restaurant with fast service. When we were there they played classical piano music, which was very nice. The wine and food were very good taste and quickly served. I can recommend to go here for western food like pizza, cheese burger, steak, salads, etc.
Good Italian restaurant for the price. Pasta is good. Pizza is better than average. My tiramisu was just ok. Service is good. Restaurant is clean and roomy.
Good Pizza, Pasta & Burger if you need an alternative from Korean Food for one night. Also good Craft Beer selection and everything at a reasonable price level
