Nice Beach, clear water, fun for family and kids.

Very crowded, full of umbrellas and sellers, not the right place if you are looking to relax in the beach

Very busy with lots of bars and restaurants. Great fun.

Nice and cosy beach. Saw some turtles while on the boat and one while swimming around. Both times around 7pm. Beautiful experience! 🐢

A beautiful sandy beach.the extremely clean water has many beautiful shades of blue and turquoise.If you want to be alone, my suggestion is to go down 1.2 kilometers towards Kalamaki to the wild part of the beach, its really beautiful!

I loved it, you can rent boats or just relax or eat anything at one of the restaurants there, while also looking at the blue sea and hearing the waves.

A sandy beach that goes on for miles. The sea is shallow and calm, making it easy for inexperienced swimmers. The water is warm (end of August). The beach is clean and there is hardly any seaweed in the water. There are areas with sunbeds and areas without. Can get busy at times but as its such a large beach its not really crowded.

Highly overated. Dirty, the sand is filled with cigarettes waiste, rusted umbrellas, no shower, no WC.

Not much space to be in the free beach, but the water is splendid and clean and with Sand rather than little rocks

Nice beach, at eaving you can find turtles. It jas a lot of beach bars, just choose one and enjoj in drinks and sea. It is made of sand and water is really nice to play water sports and swim.

Nice beach, however busy and touristy. Grab a boat and go to one of the secluded beaches nearby - you will not regret

Very crowded if you walk on to the beach though the sand is great and the water shallow. Quite a few places to eat at this end of the beach. Lol many 18 to 30 here and its very noisy at night from all the clubs, I stayed here years ago on a cheap break and it was good.

The perfect beach for almost everybody. There are numerous taverns or restaurants where you can enjoy delicious selections of greek food. Or you just drink something at a sunbed in front of the sea (most of them are free if you order something to drink or eat)Only if you want to enjoy pure silence and relaxation, you should choose another beach amidst the many beautiful ones on Zakynthos.

Water at this beach is shallow for a long way into the sea, in the afternoon its wuite warm and pleasant to swim in. The access to the beach is however quite dirty and unkempt in some parts, trash on the sides of the roads and not enough bins on sight.

I cant understand why are tourist here in at this beach. This island has much better beaches. This beach is not nice at all, looks dirty, crowded, bad and extremely unfriendly expensive service.The nice thing for tourists is that there are plenty of restaurants nearby.

It is everything I hate about beaches. Extremely crowded, noisy and dirty. Other than that, it has soft sand, shallow waters and lots of tavernas, water sports facilities, sunbeds and umbrellas. It may be great for some people, but I really didnt like it.

It is definitely a place made for people wanting to party - day and night.There are plenty of bars, clubs and terraces where you can hang out. The water is great and clean, with very a smooth sand.The place was way too crowded for my taste and really nosey. Maybe at the end of the beach you can find a more quiet place to stay and enjoy the water.

It is a nice location and for everyone who is searching for a good night out, party, drinks and touristic attractions it‘s the perfect place. But be aware of the turtle areas and leave them alone. The water is very warm and you have to go very far to swim. Very loud and full. Not a nice place for those who want a calm holiday.

Nice long beach with sand and sunbeds. Great for a morning run.The water is nice, but not that beautiful turquoise you can see on other greek beaches.

Out of season an uninviting beach very close to the airport, lots of empty bars lined up and some kind of river bringing disgusting brown sludge to the sea. If you want to swim and enjoy the sea, this is not the place to be on Zakynthos.

Great views and loads of local amenities. Water is shallow for several meters so great for kids. A little stony at the shore. Boat trips, rentals and gift shops everywhere.

Short in width, but long beach. A lot going on, restaurants, terraces and so on. Good for a swim, but there are more traditional beaches around. Also has a few diving schools and clubs in the area. Also not too far from a small island you can visit via a wooden bridge.

5/5, highly recommend, nice Beach, long but narrow but its not a problem, sunbeds are free for the whole day as long as you order something from the restaurant, either food or drink. Very warm sea, clear and simply beautiful. It is even possible to spot a turtle! One minor issue is that all restaurants are close to each other and the music played can be heard from 3/4 different restaurants.

Loved it busy beach but still found a place to put our towel down to have a swim. You have to pay if you want to use one of the chairs along the beach I think it was between 10 to 15 euros to use them all day. We went mid September the water is warm and clear and you can walk out along way. We brought a couple of snorkeling masks from one of the shops for 3 euros and was well worth it saw a turtle and starfish. Would definitely recommend getting a pedlow 10 euros for an hour as the sea is so clear and that was when we spotted a turtle.

Very nice beach, not too overcrowded and the water was clear.

Yellow submarine trip. 3 hour trip seen the turtles and went for a trip up the coat before going to turtle island for a swim.

Beach is very narrow but beautiful. Some of the "sellers" are weird, asking to buy Guccis bag or rollex watch every 5 minutes however the views and weather are just adorable.Dear Laganas council, more bins please! We dont want to feed the turtles with plastic! 🐢 💔

Clean, beautiful view, lots of space and a lot of places to buy food and drinks. Soft sand, lots of seashells. Water is so clear!

By my reckoning, this must be the best beach on the island with bars and restaurants nearby. Further along its nowhere near as busy. Take your choice.

Beautiful beach very small bit of a trek getting too it but very nice when there went to a wedding here so this part was private party crystal clear water

Its like Bath water. Inbetween the two resorts its crystal clear, shallow beach so safe. Beach shuts at sunset and opens at 7am to leave the loggerhead turtles peace to come ashore and lay their eggs.

Very nice and quiet place to enjoy sun and the one of the most beautiful beach in Zakynthos.

An average sandy beach of a calm bay. View is good but not that spectacular. It is a bit cumbersome to approach as there arent much streets to lead there straigth. Most parts of the beach are taken by places and their sunbeds but there are some free spots too (with no shades at all). You can rent motor boats, water bikes and kayaks if you want, these can be used for some DIY turtle spotting that is a truly unique experience you can have at a beach. Water is pleasantly warm and clear. You can spot some tiny fishes too but nothing more. It is located at a party area of Zakynthos so expect groups of youngsters having fun around. The beach and the whole area is quite littered and there are no proper trash bins anywhere.

Super nice beach for swimming and walking, with plenty of options to stay and to eat. The sun rising is amazing!

Amazing views and the sea is so clear... Not much sand and dirty by the strip but much better if you walk down further... The sea is so warm and shallow for some distance been many times

Beatiful beach with amazing views. Water crystal clear but very salty gradually getting deeper. I recommend early arrival to get a good spot in peak season however its end of season and there was a lot of free loungers that belonged to the hotels so its probably possible to use them for a small fee like €7 including umbrella. Theres plenty of bars and tavernas also markets available near by. Water sports and diving also at hand. For a quieter spot only a walk down from laganas beach youll find kalamaki and crystal beach. The only downside is people smoking and leaving their rubbish on the beach where turtles are nesting. I am a smoker myself but have never left any trace.

Water is warm (12th septemberand shallow even 20m from beach line. Many restaurants and bars some items they sell are overpriced but i guess it is normal. I am enjoing my stay, would visit again.

beach side is good. central road is a terror at night. if you arent a tourist that came over only for partying, you shouldnt go there at night. during day you can have a nice walk around the mini souvenir shops but puke stinks everywhere tho. many nightclubs, strip clubs and fortunately, medical centres

Lovely calm sea, nice view out into the Bay. Great for going in with children, gradual slope in to the water.Plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from.

The sea makes all the difference. And there are always nice photo opportunities especially if you choose to go for a walk on the seashore at sunrise

Great beach very big, water is clean. A lot of coffee bars on the beach were you can take a sunbed and umbrella. And I found a lot of sea shells :D

The beach is long and it has lots of bars and restaurants, the sand is solid and u can run on it or play football, but as for me its uncomfortable for walk, sea on this beach isnt deep at all, u can walk like a 300m and then it goes a bit deeper, as for prices out of season u can find sunbads with umbrella for a whole day for 3-5e, juices are 3e so if u buy juice u have a sunbed for a whole day (u dont pay esspecially sunbeds), water isnt so clear, there arent any fish, u cant see anything but sand here..
