Lafontaine Le Lac Resort in Dhahran

The resort is amazing , we had a pleasant time there. It has two pools, one for children with a small aqua park and one for adults with a tiny pool for babies next to it..… there is lovely grass area in front of the children pool to set on . It also has chalets and bikes for rent.In the evening there is some music and a small show going on. The one and only drawback is there is no place to change your clothes and take a shower , just a small bathroom with two toilets and sinks.

Happy for having kids pool and private beach access. Room is also ok but there is no heater option in room as well as pool so that we couldn’t enjoy the pool last week due to bad weather. Very pricey with less facilities. They’re giving compliment breakfast which is good but why no water for guests? They definitely need to improve!

Rooms are a little old. But very good property. With a good pool. The only drawbqck is that the pool doesnt have a heater.

Its a chalets kind of compound. Not a resort as in high end services. There is a nearby accessible restaurant and cafe alseef. In general its a cost effective place if you do not mind taking care of the food and run your own services. The shower was not in best of condition. Hygiene could be improved

Old furniture but clean no inside coffeshop or resturant but the outdoor pool and water playground is nice the kids were happy thats the most important thing, you have to bring all your food snacks water and coffe with you, there is a nearby ressturant very nice with sea view and shisha

Very smelly and bad bathrooms old tiles and old furniture the beds are very dirty I slept on them and I was itching all night bugs and mold are everywhere the place overall very unclean and unaesthetic.

Good place for kids to enjoy and relax with family and friends for get together.

Its an ideal holiday resort for families with small kids. There is a small water park, a land park, swimming pool too.Additionally they provide bike riding and specific water sports.Rooms can be a little more hygienic.Definitely worth spending a holiday.

Nice resort..definitely fun for kids

No beach

Manager Jamal was a great gentleman and even the receptionist AbdulAzeez.The resort requires some refurbishment to bring it back to its amazing status before the pandamic.However the value for money is a bit high compared to other competitive resorts.I truely wish them best of luck for the amazing treatment and hospitality.

Staff is very nice and friendly. Outside area is much better but Villas are mess. I cant believe we paid 1700 riyals per night to live in unclean, smelly and filthy place. The place was worst that highway hotels for 15 sar per hour rate.Lets hope the owners do major revamp to make use of excellent staff and location.

Worst night ever...we called Maintnice 4 times ..The furniture is a bit old 90’s themed.The bathroom smells like sewer.Fridge didn’t cool .During our time at the public pool; For some reason they started to spray Insecticides (smoke typeall over the pool area.The best thing is the private pool which we enjoyed alot next day..

Place is a bit old but overall great local get away from daily routine. Loved that they had all the activities parasailing, jet ski, sofa ride, cycling, water park. And private pool. Not for swimming just for rides and for children pool, the chalet r not much clean the furniture r too old the electric burner are scary to use because too old and rusty, the electronic door key s too bad its take you few minutes to open the door, the toilet bowl flash is too weak l, the need renovation of all the chalet

good points:check in and check out was very fast ,the reception Saudi staff wasvery kind also room service ..if you can find one :.the public resort facilities and the garden was great also the lake view as well .rental of boats,parachutes and jet ski with additional price ,it was little pet expensive but funny .bad points :.bad smell in toilets it was too bad to can avoid mention itsome places were dirty like restroom floor and corners very dusty and dirty used balloons every where beside and inside the pool !.private swimming pool unclean and not healthy to use a lot of people use it . it should be emptied of the water from time to time then cleaned .telephone was out of service , and the management know about it already when i told them they said : tell us about anything you want with your personal phone !

Very bad experience. I was there for a weekend . I felt i made a mistake booking this place to relax . 1rooms are not cleaned very bad carpets 2washrooms are not maintaned properly i see broken furniture. 3u can hear your next room sounds 4one team of kids got a big loud speaker and it was kept out side in gardan area with full sound full night . I went i request the them to lower the sound he didnt case i called reception no one answered my call .There is a shop inside the hotel where u can buy water chips softdrinks which costs 200 to 400 % more than the market priceVery unhappy

Exellent reception from sraff. Gamal, egyptian employee was very cooperative and well customer focused. Needs renovation. Swimming pools not regularly cleaned. Rooms not provided with towels. The water in the resisentail area is NOt sweet.

A very nice place but the utilities inside the villas are in bad conditions.Air conditioners are not working fine.

It’s a very good resort for those people who spends their time for private pool and they also acess public pool. There are few activities for children like swimming, swings, canteen and also cycling for both adults and children. There are many other options in the resort like Jetski boating etc. There are also good option for those people who want to acess only public pool and other stuff they must choose studio option. There is a very Good restaurant Al Seef . Children must enjoy here.

Place is good with pool..u can get a private pool.. theres playground and water park for kids..the only problem is the bugs

Kids had a blast in the private swimming pool as well as the water slides. The regular slides were also nice.

Love this resort. The rooms are clean and have great view.
