Lady of the Lake in Brandon

Everything was perfect.Everything was delicious.Juice blew my mind.Cute decor.

The food is always good here. Anytime you can get something that is "homemade" in a restaurant, is a win.

Really great. Good atmosphere, prices and food.

Our travel plans did not allow us a chance to go inside but we still enjoyed the experience.The old truck with tea cups on it was worth the stop.I will return when we can make time to go inside..

Fantastic service and great food

Had a great meal after a long day. Staff were very helpful and the entertainment factor was very good. Wish we could have stayed for the band but the warm up was special.

Went out last night to see Emma Peterson perform and have dinner. We sat at the bar for 15 minutes and had two skunky beers in a row, so they got some from another case in the back and they were fine. Later on in the evening I got another skunky one, so I changed brands and it was fine. Everyones meals were good other than mine which was the Excaliburger that was made with a mushy meatloaf. I tried to eat it but only ate like a 1/4 of it but my Hungarian soup was very good. Had the waitress came around to ask how everything was I would have told here. Speaking of waitress the place was packed and very understaffed as it took forever to get a drink. I’m sure having a couple more staff would probably increase their sales dramatically.Towards the end of the night while the band was still playing at 10:45 I asked for another drink and was told I already told you guys it was last call when we ordered our last round of drinks. Excuse me for wanting to spend more money there. This was my first time dining there on a Friday night and Certainly never left with the feeling that I can hardly wait to come back!!!

We thought wed treat ourselves today and go to The Lady of the Lake. Hot chocolate, giggle juice, pineapple juice and coffee, all excellent. The girls had the pizza which was the perfect portion for them, the ice cream and cookie were lovely additions as well. Prairie fries, Thai wraps and curry chicken sandwiches were also ordered and enjoyed. All in all, this is a great place to eat, you get what you pay for and the ambiance is definitely part of the experience.

When in Brandon Manitoba...What a great place to dine, shop and even take photos! Really enjoyed our visit here. The food was great and the staff were super friendly!

Retail side staff was rude. Certainly wont shop there again! Restaurant side was great!

Enjoyed a delish late lunch with the ladies today & then a bit of shopping in the unique & beautiful store. A lovely place to go for food and shopping; always a delight A+++++

We came from vancouver isl.to visit friends in brandon ,our friend took as to lady of the lake, after the first wow was walking in super nice place ,second our waitres befaney, super good and super nice ,great food and shoping.we will be back.

Very friendly folks working there! Clean, and cozy place to eat, and shop! Also, huge portions of food, and great mixture of different foods! Definitely be back again!

They checked for an allergen ingredient and the food was delicious. It can be a little noisy when it is full but good atmosphere.

So lovely, stopped at the store first purchased some goodies and one was wrapped up sweetly for my niece.Purchased lunch and its all vegan including desert of a cranberry nut bar. So sweet!

A beautiful little (largeshop. The food always smells so good and tastes even better. A large variety of gifts at all different notice points. There is something for everyone. Its is quite large and no corner is left empty, Im not even sure I saw everything after being there for 45mins. Its a little over welding.

I like to go here when I need a gift for family or friends. They have such nice displays to wander through and I can always find something special. The food and atmosphere in the cafe is superb as well

Always enjoy my meal. Very friendly staff. I was disappointed in the beef barley soup. Thinking it was an off day. No beef or barley and very little flavor.

I am from Ontario and never been to Manitoba - this place was a detour on my trip. I found Lady of The Lake with only 3 days left in Brandon, I wish I found it sooner! This place is a true local gem. I ordered the Hungarian Muschroom Soup with a Reuben Sandwhich, a spicy ceasar and a slice of cheesecake. All of this was superb ! Ill be back tomorrow and Sunday for brunch . Highly reccomend.

My nephew, visiting from Kelowna, I and my sister had a delicious lunch at noon today. I had the turkey and cranberry sandwich on whole grain with spinach/saskatoon salad. Followed up by rhubarb/strawberry pie with icecream. The pie, a prairie favourite, was soooo gòod. My companions agree with my assessment and give the same for their choices. Pecan pie got 5 stars!!!! A real treat as I seldom eat out!!!!

Loved the variety of items for sale, the ambiance. Also the cafe was awesome, great food, very friendly, upbeat serving staff.

Really unique items in a great arrangement that winds like a path through colour schemes. Excellent selection of jewellery and accessories also! Its a must stop for me every time Im in Brandon. And they wrap gifts for free.

Good place for hanging out. Live music, good drinks and food.

I had the opportunity to have lunch while visiting Brandon. I had heard about this restaurant MANY times but had not been. It was definitely worth the wait and I will be back the next time I am in Manitoba. AWESOME FOOD! I had the curry chicken sandwich which was so yummy. Nice atmosphere and excellent service.

Lady of The Lake was soooOohh FaBby! A savoury menu, awesome hospitality, and unique decor ... THIS is the place to gather and shop for unique and lovely must haves!!

The restaurant menu is varied and the food is sourced locally. There is comfort food on the menu as well as many fresh takes on old favourites. One of my favourite meals is the veggie hummus sandwich.Be sure to arrive early and browse the gift shop. It has every nook and cranny filled with unique gifts and clothing.I have been many times and have never been disappointed.Also, check out the truck outside!

We stopped here on our way home from Winnipeg. The menu had so many great sounding items that it was difficult to choose. I had hot apple chai cider, and the Thai chicken wrap with Aztec soup. It was delicious and filling! The gift shop has a huge selection of items - clothes, jewelry, home decor, furniture, antiques. I just wish it was closer to home. Ill have to take another road trip so I can go back there for lunch and shopping.

Fabulous gift store. Wide variety of items to choose from. There’s also a wonderful cafe on the premises with an excellent menu. Well worth going to.

This place is amazing! I was told the prices were high but I was pleasantly surprised that the prices were quite reasonable.This place was easy to find. The parking lot is spacious.Upon entering the store the atmosphere is very welcoming. You will find something unique and personal here if you are looking for a gift for someone. Everywhere I looked, there was something that caught my eye. Their merchandise assortment is in abundance so if you are looking for something cute, sarcastic, funny, elegant and/or industrial...this is the place.There is also a restaurant attached!

The food was fresh and delicious. Our waitress was very friendly and made recommendations. The atmosphere was so warming and quaint. Highly recommend

I recommend this place for many reasons as it is quite diverse and offers many different things like a fabulous menu in their cafe, gift shop extraordinaire (seriously - so many themes to choose from to satisfy everyones tasteand a great meeting/activity room to rent out upstairs, which we rent for weekly meditation classes. The owner/ management is so accommodating and kind and easy to work with.

They had good options, the setting was lovely (and I could get a fd/df meal).I would go back (this time when they had live music - I had no idea they did so many fun in house events!)

Amazing food, staff and atmosphere. Beautiful building, with some amazing antiques. Data great for her already of old and new with a splash of everything that you could think of. We found one piece that absolutely made us fall in love with. We were able to negotiate a price, and prayed that it would fit in our car back home. Totally recommend this place to anyone in the area or traveling in the area.

Lady of the Lake in Brandon is the BEST place to go for healthy food choices at a restaurant in my books. The food was delicious and the decor was interesting and retro in nature. I was with a group of 20 women and all of our food came out in a timely manner. Quick service and excellent staff. It was nice to poke around the store attached to the restaurant - some items were reasonably priced, some more expensive depending on what you liked. They had gifts for any type of person you would be buying for.

Such a cute gift shop! Lots of unique items available here. The food smelled great although I didnt try it. They have a cute setting for pictures inside the store.

I would give 5 stars to the gift shop. Beautiful products and very helpful, friendly service but I can only give 2 stars to the cafe because we drove 3 hours specifically to sit in the Love Lounge for our anniversary lunch, calling the day before to make sure we could do this and got confirmation then were not allowed to sit there even though no-one was sitting there the entire 90 minutes we were there. Server said the area was "closed" til dinner. Would go back but only because the chef is amazing. Not for the service.

Had a great meal. I had the Rueben with the wine and cheese salad. The Reuben had lots of sauerkraut and corn beef with a nice spicy sweet mustard. The salad was excellent as always. The service was great also.

Whenever I go back to visit the family I always stop in and have lunch, its one of my favorite places to eat in Brandon. The meatloaf sandwich still makes my mouth waster just thinking about it from the other side of the country. And if I ever need to pick up a present for my mother I always know that if I buy anything from the Lady my mother will be happy!!!

Service was slow but waitress seemed to be working almost on her own......she was very busy, but very pleasant and helpful. Food was delicious. We all had the meat loaf special and it tasted like home made.....very, very good!

I got the Spinnach Saskatoon with the Hungarian Mushroom Soup and biscuit. The salad was nice and light. I LOVED the soup and dipping into it with the biscuit was heaven on earth. So good! And the place is beautiful with so many gems every corner you turn. Also the shop on the side is hilariously ornate with many interesting items to look through and try on.

Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, casual restaurant. Good home cooked food. Best iced tea! Our waitress was awesome! Very emphatic, down to earth. I will go here again.

Wow. We had heard a lot of good things about this place. Im certain if we came again our experience might be different, but first impressions are everything. 55 minutes from the time we were given menus until the time our food came. And when it did come, it was wrong. There were 7 other people in the restaurant, so theres no excuse for that. Our server comped my meal, which was nice, but to late, since what I wanted would likely take another 20 min, and what I got was not enjoyable. My wifes meal was fine, and portions were good, if not small for an average of $15.00/meal.

Its just the most unique place with such an inviting atmosphere. The antique furniture. The pictures, the artful displays. Brings back memories and makes me smile. I love it and stop every time I go to or by Brandon and of course always find something special to bring back home.
