Lady Abercorn's, 40 Liverpool St, London EC2M 7QN, Wete
Warm, handsome eatery offering pub staples & global plates alongside local brews & live music.
Outstanding place. Bruh friendly staff, great atmosphere, and the bangers and mash was out of this world.
Very friendly landlord who was organizing a quiz at the time in a very amusing and helpful way.Lovely building also. Credit due to the whole place. Loved it
Lovely place for drinks in London. Friendly staff & has other rooms you can move to but may need to be reserved first. Beautifull decor xx
Nice pub. But incredibly £8.44 for one pint of Neck Oil (even more expensive than the £6.50 it has published online).
Ive been here before and for location and atmosphere fairly quiet and tucked away. Staff service has always been pleasant but I have to say price hikes including the service charge on my latest visit on food and beer is not warranted. Everyone in attendance said the food ordered was just ok and others reported it being bland. Some who ordered fish and chips, at least 5 of the handful of chips given were dry and burnt..the batter on fish also over done and inedible, the amount of peas given, barley enough to fill an egg cup. Couldnt be bothered to take pictures...Noticed a Few people came in perused the menu and walked out. Its an expensive pit stop and ok just for one but not much more. Again none of this reflection on staff but its just OK.
5 star service all around. Izabella went above and beyond creating a wonderful environment and service. The food was also delicious. Can’t wait to come back for another visit!
Good London pub with well managed security - needs more choice of cask bitter tho...
Didn’t realise it was part of the hotel , what a lovely spacious pub with real ale
Bit pricey, friendly staff, good choice of drinks & bar menu
Great place to catchup with work mates for drinks..
Ok but would be good to have real ale instead of overpriced keg craft
Only stopped by for drink whilst waiting for the train times...really lovely atmosphere and staff.
Nice atmosphere even though football was on. Not too crowded as I thought I would be being in the city. Would go ahain
Great location. Be careful choosing time of your visit. Extremely busy and noisy is there between 5 and 8pm. But there was bouncer who regulated amount of people. This was good. Other pubs around Liverpool stn where even busier by comparison. Kitchen was working and chicken wings where perfect.
Be careful of the service charge. Manager should explain to team members that service charge is optional and not there to be abused. Provide table service if you are going to charge for a service.
Nice variety of beers, fun atmosphere, and DELICIOUS pub burgers!
Fantastic staff and service. Great selection of beers on draft. Perfect
Great vibe, an awesome spot to enjoy a beverage while you wait for a train :)
After a pint at wheterspoons next to Liverpool Street Station, we wanted somewhere which was less crowded with better ambience. Then we went to this place and good time for relaxing chat.
Great location and was very quiet at lunchtime - food was ok, quite a random menu.
Still nice little gaff and pleasant and comfortable place to chat. Plenty of spaces and very clean. Good assortment of beverages - connection to the hotel. Friendly service
Omgs. The sausage and mash is terribly delicious and not too busy on a Tuesday lunchtime. Its a neat old building too.
Very noisy pub and very expensive it cost my wife £18 to purchase 1pint IPA and 1 glass of Red Wine I realise its more expensive in London butthis is extortionate
What an awesome Pub, with extraodinary people, especially Isabella, she is funny and knows how to mix awesome drinks, can´t wait to be back :-)
Me and Friends went for few drink and the service was exceptional by staff specially from izabela. She provided great customer service with sense of humour.
Friendy staff good choice of beers and gins
Beer and a chicken burger n chips, all very nice.
Although a decent selection of beer the service here is terrible. I have repeatedly had to wait whilst being ignored by the bar staff. Even when the only person standing without a beer at the bar. Also witnessed the bar tender charge a black man ten pounds more for a bottle of wine than a woman was charged earlier.Terrible place. Better places to drink in the area.
Its a great little retreat away from the noisy city bars. Situated in a nice hotel. Good selection of ales when visiting. Has a pub feel but in an expensive hotel. Excellent.
Good for an older crowd, nice food and drink. I took some of our clients there for pre drinks
Very unique pub to say the least. When down to the toilet and see the shear size of it. Couldnt believe how big it was. One major factor for me to want to return was the fact they have Heineken on draft 😬 see you next week!
Decent variety of meals and a good selection of drinks. Very polite and professional staff. Great place for a snack and drink with friends. The main drawback is that some of the chairs are somewhat uncomfortable for longer stays.
Popped in for a quick drink before going to our date night, very pleasant staff too, so polite and welcoming
Good location, good interior, good range of pints. A little annoying they include a 12.5% service charge on pints you wouldve got from the bar before the pandemic. My friend ordered a cider (due to being gluten freeand they served him a beer, which he gulped. When he told the barmaid he was allergic, she didnt seem to care. Bit of a shame.
Okay pub. Only been in briefly and it was since lockdown eased. They seem to be doing the covid precautions well, the guiness was pretty good and the staff was friendly.
My wife and I had a few hours to kill before getting the train home. Initial idea was to go to a cheap-ish pub and have a few drinks. We then stumbled upon Lady Abercorn’s Pub & Kitchen. Am I ever glad we did!Super friendly service, amazing food - the wagyu beef burger is simply out of this world - and couple that to the deals on right now, you just can’t go wrong. Would absolutely return here again if given the chance. If you’re reading this far, stop and get out to this bar NOW! You won’t be disappointed!
Just a pub in Westminster london, oops so sorry about that, was on a pub crawl with friends, visited a good few pubs.so got them mixed up.Very convenient for Liverpool street station, will be returning very soon.
The location is great via Liverpool street station, food was really good and good sized portions, try the fish and chips if you can. The selection of drinks was standard for a London pub.
So expensive!!! £4.25 for a small cup of tea, £8.50for a coffee and tea. Ridiculous!! Never go back!
A delightful, well presented bar attached to a hotel and fitness club. A great little bar with indulgent wood paneling and ornate ceiling. Lovely looking restaurant attached and arancini offered as a bar snack..surely a sign that the place is blessed! Lovely staff and good beer. 8 kegs and upto 4 cask (only 2 on when I visited, Pride and Bombardier). A lovely haunt to pay a visit, verl close to Liverpool street station. Call in and enjoy.
Nice, fairly generic pub, very close to Liverpool Street station. Good atmosphere. A couple of restaurants in the same complex, so you wont have far to walk of you feel peckish after that pint.
I came in with my family of 5 which included a 4 month baby who stayed in his stroller until the end of our meal. We sat at a table for 4 and were served quickly by a friendly server. Food came out quick and was received well for the most part. We were not asked about refills on our beers or waters. At the end, we were curiously charged 12.5 service automatically. If this is against policy, I would suggest management remind staff of the proper policy. (Not sure if it is customary to charge a group of 4 auto grat. in North America this is usually for groups 6+. A reminder that tip had already been added would have been the decent thing for the server to do as my Mother paid tip on a bill that already included tips. Essentially providing 28% tip! If management would like more details, I would be more than happy to provide the receipts and more details. Not trying to get anyone in trouble, just a heads up for others.
Great service and superb big screens to watch sporting events. Good space out the back to remote work on a laptop should you wish to do so, my go to place in between meetings in the City. Not super cheap as youd expect.
Nice pub for a quick beer after work. Location is this bars most valuable asset.. Is very close to Liverpool Street Station, they shoe most pf the football matches live. Ive seen most of European cup and Monday night football here. It has decent beer collection, and service worth mentioning as well.
A nice pub right next to Liverpool St. A little soulless though and because of the lack of soft furnishings it tends to be quite loud and echoey even when it’s nearly empty. If you want to watch football they have sky sports playing. The service is friendly and, in my experience, quick. The beers on offer are the usual array so don’t expect anything original. Generally a reasonable place to stop in for a drink but I doubt you would spend much longer unless a good game was on
Reliable spot in the city for a pint with a good amount of square footage. It will undoubtedly be busy at peak hours and the high ceilings mean the acoustics arent great but all that said, a welcome watering hole while youre passing through the area.
Visited for lunch; though the menu is small the food was good, particularly the Mushroom Mac and Cheese Croquettes, and the sophisticated desserts. Friendly staff and a chilled atmosphere. Will come again.
If the service had been better I would have given 5 stars! One of the best places for a social drink in the area. Great meting place for a night out.Prices are okay for a city pub but not what you could call cheap by any means.Plenty of better places to eat locally so take a look around
Maybe a tiny bit gloomy inside but the staff are friendly and the inside is nice and comfy with lots of space to sit. Its not a rammed bar so theres space for all and it doesnt take long to get your drink. They charge a quid for sparkling soda water from the "tap" which I always think is a bit cheeky unless its all anyone is having. But no matter its a good choice for a pint near Liverpool Street station.
The bar is very nice and there is a great tv ( only onein the main bar.The food is terrible and it fits the English cuisine reputation. The hamburger was uneatable. And also other things were not good (was it ceaser salad?)The vibe is nice. Come and drink, dont order any food.
