Best place for a coffee by the sea. Lovely kiosk and seating area selling coffee, pastries and a hot meal. You can drink your coffee with your feet on the sand and watching the hardy galway swimmers.

This is the Ladies Beach at Salthill. The name survives from the era when men and women had separate beaches. These days, the beach is busy most days with people swimming in all conditions.

Beautiful soot for a swim in the summer. I just dont like that theres a coffee place in the middle that serves coffee in plastic cups that then people throws away, usually on the floor (it ends up in the seabecause the lacks of bins.

Good place to walk and exercise. Too bad the only day I visited the place was very cold and there was no sun at all. It must be really cool to relax and enjoy the sun on a warm day there

I give three stars because the beach is within the city limits but no simple changing facilities or shower are available. Wild beach.
