The views, the breeze and the service are amazing! The food quality is 10/10 and Mey was awesome! I recommend it 100%

Beautiful scenery, good food and service. It was really a plus watching the sunset from there while having some drinks and appetizers. The appetizer portion is huge and worth the price. The seafood seems to be their specialty but we were not impressed.

I would give the restaurant 0 stars if possible. My family wanted to have a good meal to celebrate the end of a great vacation. I called ahead to make sure they could handle our large party and was told to come on. The awful service was only eclipsed by the terrible inedible food. It was only after we complained about the service and food quality that the waitress shared that the cooks weren’t up to par…and this was after she told my grandson everything on the menu was good. She also failed to tell us that a couple of our meals didn’t come with the advertised free sides and there was a $5 charged for a spoonful of the restaurant’s special sauce. Avoid Ladi’s at all cost.

Worst Puerto Rican food! Nothing we order tasted good, not even the drinks. And to top it off it was way over price. Idk how this place has 4 stars

My wife and I planned to come here while in Puerto Rico for our anniversary. I tried calling the number listed for reservations, but it would not go through so I ended up emailing.I asked about making a reservation with the specific details and was emailed back with "HiWalk in welcomeSee you soon." From Juan M Gonzalez... This did not answer our request for a reservation at all! So we said we would just go for it anyway because the reviews we saw seemed it may be worth it.We arrived right at 6pm at the valet which was fast and proceeded down to the restaurant within minutes.After being seating, not 1 person came to check on us for almost 30 minutes which then a waitress finally came out to take our drink/food order.Drinks took about 10 minutes (2 Mojitosand then another 20 minutes for the waters we requested at the same time.We literally watched 2 other couples and a single person come sit after us, yet get all of their food before us as we just sat and waited with our waitress nowhere to be seen.At 7:15, a different waiter asked if we were OK and we told him no, we have been waiting for 45 minutes for our food.The food did not make its way to us until 7:17 pm. 45 minutes after ordering and just a "sorry for being late" which was a complete different waiter.The chicken my wife ordered was rubbery and tostones were hard like they were just heated in a microwave.My rice was Luke warm and very salty. I also ordered the chuketa Kan kan which was actually flavorful but overcooked.With how fast the food got cold and everything about it, we 100% believe the food had been ready and sitting so long that somebody microwaved it and rushed it out to us.Our waitress then made her way to us twice to check on everything after somebody else had to address us and by this point we were already annoyed and hungry so we told her it wasnt great but we werent going to wait again for new food.After we ate enough to be full and head out we waited 25 minutes before we had to call a different waitress over to ask for our check. It was a few minutes after this where our actual waitress showed up again to clean and hand us our check.The best part about this entire evening was the view.I hope that the owners and management see this and make sure that others dont get the treatment that we received!

Food needs a little more spice but the dessert was SO GOOD. Breathtaking views. We had a fabulous time.

Food and drinks were a hit! Good music vibes and one beautiful view. The only issue is the wait is forever. Go grab a bite, but please know your total time there will take about 3 hours. So go on a day when you have time to relax. The staff is wonderful!

Our waitress Nicole was amazing! Grouper bites were so tender and delicious. Red snapper was so moist and flakey. Would Definitely recommend both. Views are beautiful!!! Will be back!

Very poor food quality. Many items on the menu were unavailable, (including mint leafs for mojitos). Mofongo Very bland, as well as the other entrees and appetizers ordered. Service long and slow. Only reason why this was not a 1 star, was the view. View was hard to beat. Would recommend many of the other fantastic restaurants near by. This was the first bad meal in Puerto Rico in 5 days.

This was our first dinner in town & it did not disappoint. We sat out on the patio and enjoyed the lovely sea breeze. Unfortunately we came after sunset so we could not see the water (check the sunset time before booking). Our server was super helpful & knowledgeable. Our drinks were very tasty and we all loved our food. Large portions & very shareable!

I’ve come here a handful of times for convenience with a coworker, but I just can’t anymore. We’ve even made the mistake of bringing clients here (but at least they’re happy with the view).The employees always look like they’re being tortured or under severe bouts of depression, whether they’re busy or nearly unoccupied.The only thing this place has going is the vista. If this was anywhere else, 1 star.Between getting served coffee in plastic cups, to fish tacos with no sauce and other bland foods, to general lack of attention…They’re usually out of random things- and what they do have… perpetually underwhelming.I keep telling myself “next time it will be better” or “this was a one off”, I’ve been here enough now to know better. I’m apparently a slow learner says my coworker.It’s sad to see such a premium location be so chronically… mismanaged?I’m sure they get by on location alone, but imagine serving good food and having good service. Like a good restaurant.

3 years ago this place was amazing, right now is just okay, the waitress said they were plating the food, but in reality it took another 45 minutes, after the food was brought to the table they forgot one of the orders, the food is just okay, nothing exiting to pay for over priced food, I ordered th passion mojito, it was pretty bad. The view is amazing, the place was clean Not returning again

Service was excellent. People were very friendly and attentive. Only negative is that all our plates were not too flavored. Low in salt and their "mojo isleño" was not that great* perhaps we should have asked for salsa criolla instead; Specially for the Mofongo with lobster. (By the way if had a lot of lobster! ). Not bad at all, just not great.

The view is breathtaking! Food and service was good. However, I have others places I will prefer over this one.

This is a hidden gem... head out of San juan along the coast... just past the fort on your way to Contada beach..Beach... it is perched below on a cliff.They will prepare your seafood anyway you like it... we asked for simply grilled.. it was Fabulous... wine selection is not only surprisingly extensive... they dont overcharge.A Winner.

Verdict :: Service - B (didnt open on time/ Ambience - A / Food - A / Drinks - A / Recommend - ✅The restaurant says it opens at 11, but it may not. Anyway we were there early as we were hoping to get done with our lunch quickly. Note - this looks like a better dinner location.Anyway, finally we got in at 11:20 and I explained my situation (that I have an appointment and have to leave quickly), the waiter helped us get the food quickly.The food was definitely good, but to top it, the location is amazing. Must try the chicken stuffed mofongo and shrimp tacos. The breeze, the sound of the waves, it would make a perfect dinner location.

My server Nicole was the absolute best. Such a welcoming smile and excellent service. I would definitely return. The food was also amazing and my server helped make the experience wonderful. She gave the best recommendations and was very attentive.

Beautiful Place, amazing views at night. Food way okay, you can find better food Criolla on the island. But cant beat that romantic dinner views on the beach.

Beautiful restaurant with a great view but thats pretty much where it ends. Service was seriously lacking. I ordered 2 mofongo dishes, lobster with red sauce and shrimp with the garlic sauce. When the food arrived my dish had no sauce. So I wait for the waitress to come back. When she does I explain the situation. No apology nothing, she gave 0 Fs. She took the dry mofongo and said that she will have the kitchen make me a new one. So then I end up waiting for another mofongo that was honestly not that great. Horrible honeymoon dinner experience. Also the waitress failed to mention that they charge you for water. Watch out for that. Go for the view and have a few drinks but I wouldnt recommend having a meal.

We came here on recommendation of our Uber driver. View of ocean is spectacular! Drinks took 20 minutes to arrive and food took about an hour. It was good and prices are as expected. If service was quicker, I would have given 5 stars.

You should know its a bad sign when theres an MIA hostess at the front and you have to wait at least 5 minutes for them to even appear. I get it, they were busy but the hostess is the first one there to greet you and make an impression and set expectations. In our case it foreshadowed what was to come.We finally got on a list and were probably at our table for 2 within an hour of waiting. The waiter seemed nice but we were there to get drinks and enjoy the amazing view they have. We got our drinks, they were good. Finished them within 10 minutes (it was hot and we were THIRSTYand we would have probably bought another 2+ rounds of drinks...if they would have ever came back to check on us. When we finally were able to get someones attention and ask for our check, we waited and waited and waited. I had to get up and go inside and find someone to pay the bill. Pretty inexcusable if you ask me.We were planning on going back the next day but well never go back here. Hopefully they go out of business and someone else can capitalize on the great views and actually deliver on service too.

Well, 2.5 hours waiting for a table of 5. And then, 1 plate came first. A lot of employees walking and looking busy but the kitchen is as slow as a snail on a hot road. Wont recommend on special days. Maybe Wednesday afternoon should be ok but wont be back on Sunday. If they serve before we hit the road, will update with food quality. Food came 3 hours after order and it was good, but the snapper was almost rare and skin on. Great place to enjoy a drink and the awesome Puerto Rico north cost but for dinner, there are a lot of better options.

The place is in a picture-perfect place! Amazing on the water however the service was terrible. Drinks took over 20 plus minutes and dinner over an hour. Need to take a close look at your service and food area as this would be an A+ if you can correct the major issues with how long we had to wait for drinks and food.

The place space is beautiful, we (5 peoplegot there and everyone was nice, we got our drinks and appetizers, everything was going well, but then we waited around 2 hours for our entrees. At some point we just wanted to leave, the waiter didn’t want to walk near us because he knew how crazy the situation was. And the crazy thing is that the restaurant wasn’t even half full. The food was ok but we weren’t hungry anymore. Never going back.

You can sit their for hours watching the ocean.If you are a food lover, this is probably not the best place for you.Why?Drinks are overpriced - we could deal with it.But for the food we waited too long (around an hour). May be they are really preparing. Nahland crab Mofango was coldMofango Carrucho was ice cold, almost as an ice cube. What does that mean? They can’t even disguise the dishes as fresh.Satisfied with the view and highly disappointed with the overpriced ice over entrees

Im not one to make a big deal on ambience. This was a perfect spot.Huge kudos to our waitress who made an excellent decision to serve our young daughter first before us. 👏👏👏

Everything was absolutely fantastic. We ordered some empandillas with chicken and got cold shrimp and maybe scallops? But they were re ordered and came hot and and everything else tasted fantastic. There were a lot of options on the menu crossed out as unavailable. The view was great, there was a ton of seating and room for bog parties. The drinks were delicious. And our server was so helpful with recommendations for food, dribks and after party in Viejo San Juan. Definitely gonna go back.

Best churrasco mofongo in town. Also, best piña coladas. It’s really 80% rum 🍹 and 20% pineapple 🍍. Simply delicious. Did I mention best view in San Juan??? 🤩🤩🤩 and best waiter, May. If you go, ask for May. She will make anything happen.

Very nice view and service is good. I got a churrasco that did not have too much taste but my daughter got Babybacks ribs and where very tasty.

Based on some more recent reviews, we passed up Ladis three times in the way to the beach and back. On our way back to Old SJ this evening we stopped in just for a drink. We added a calamari appetizer. It arrived promptly, was hot and very tasty...we ordered dinner (fish tacos and salmon). Both were very satisfying, with portions big enough to warrant a doggy bag.Were very glad we finally stopped. The food and service were great, and the views were exceptional.

4.5 for the food. Ten stars for the location and view and facilities. One of the most special places in Puerto Rico. Prices high but not the highest Ive seen. Oceanview at 180 degrees. Valet parking. You can even enjoy the spot without buying anything ...part of it is public access. Contains a huge photo display of the history of San Juan.

Arrived On a beautyfull afternoon by accident. Food was Great We ordered the Mariscada and Mar y Tierra plus Sampler of the Sea. Mojitos were Good Too. Food Was Good Service was excellent Cheers to our server Mey. We will be back For More. Thumbs Up

Hidden gem by the sea serving good food for fair prices. Limited English but we got along okay. Full bar but no drink menu to let you know what is available. Service was slow but COVID was affecting everyones staff at the time. Masks and proof of vaccination required.

The appetizers were pretty good - we had the fried cheese, mozz sticks, fish and shrimp empanadas. It took forever to get our food and the restaurant was pretty empty for lunchtime. All the entrees were under seasoned. I understand less is more with fresh sea food but even salt and pepper can go a long way! My dad ordered a side of mojo to help but it didn’t do much flavor wise. And although the seafood tasted fresh, 3 of our meals were overcooked. Food was too pricey for the value and we were there for 2 hrs 15 mins for 6 meals and apps. Didn’t take nearly as long at all the other restaurants we visited on this trip, but maybe they are understaffed. The view and ocean breeze were a major plus though!

The view of the ocean front is so good, it should be ilegal. 180+ degrees of pure ocean views. We sat in the outside part of the restaurant...the wind was beyond perfect...its better than a/c. I can feel the tropical paradise hitting my face.

Best restaurant I’ve ever been to! Location is perfect! We ate on a patio overhanging the beach with wonderful modernist design. A wonderful breeze wafted over us as we enjoyed the most wonderfully cooked authentic Puerto Rican cuisine with locally sourced and perfectly mixed cocktails. Service was top notch, our server Jeremy helped us pick out dishes and recommended various spots to check out during our weeks stay. 10/10 will dine again!

This used to be a well organized place to eat, but man, now it takes for ever to have your food on your table, and the food have been loosing quality for the past three month and finaly the last to arrive are first to eat, from now on, other choices in my horizon. The ocean view still nice though..

Let me just say WOW! The view... stunning. The customer service.... excellent. The food.... superb. I cant think of a better experience. The prices are right on target for a seafood restaurant. If you visit Puerto Rico, add Ladis to your list of places to go.

This is a great find. You’ll miss it by just driving by. The restaurant is below the street. There is a $6 valet. The view is amazing overlooking the beach. The tiki straw umbrellas give that vacation vibe feel. There’s no host when you walk down the ramp so at first, you’re not sure if it’s an open restaurant or just a hang out place. Service was a bit slow but the view made it all worthwhile.

The food was really good, very authentic seafood cuisine. Staff was very friendly. You couldnt ask for a better view.

The place is very nice and spacious. Has a very nice view to enjoy and relax!. The food tasted very good both plates that I ordered where good. The prices are affordable. The mojitos are expensive but they were good. Overall its a very good and nice place.

Really disappointed with this place. Second time and not a single change. Cocktails are mediocre, they don’t have sparkling water, our drinks tasted like metal pipes because they serve our Cocktails with tap water. We order calamari, the ranch sauce not good. Don’t think I will come back. :(Our calamari, soaked in oil no taste.

While the food and the local was great the service was a bit on the slower end on a day that was not packed in the very middle of the day but over with an ocean view and decent pricing (while on a more expensive sidestill within range

Great food slower as hell service!!! You need several hours to eat here! Nice place to sit and watch and listen to the waves! During the day you can see the ocean from here! Valet parking is $6 and can pay with your meal!

View was amazing. Go for the view. The food was okay. A bit pricey for the portion sizes. But the view was worth it. The restaurant is below-grade, meaning that you cant really see it from the street, You have to walk down a ramp or take an elevator down to see it, but it opens up directly to the ocean (there is a drop-off, so you are about 30 feet above the water). Really nice. And there are cool architectural touches, with a bit of the history memorialized on the wall (sorry I forgot to take photos). The facility is really well-done.

The restaurant is a casual place. The ocean view espectacular, if you like to have a relax time with you half orange or friends is the right place. The sea food taste is regular, but the dessert very good.

The grouper tenders were our favorite. Everything was very bright and flavorful. Our waitress (Nohemigave us great recommendations which provided an amazing sampling of seafood and local favorites. I highly recommend Ladi’s.

We went on our anniversary to have lunch here 12/8/17 and despite what they are going though with lack of power every one sprites are very amazing and they also had a very large party they was hosting bit they never missed a beat with our service . Our waitress was amazing the food was amazing and the view was breathe taking. Differently have to visit again .. Best anniversary
