We came for dinner one night but it was closed the next two nights so we gave up.The staff were friendly and helpful but the steak that I had was tough and full of gristle

The steak was cooked perfectly for me - med/rare but not bleeding. Fresh veges.The staff are exceptional- not only to us but all patrons.The fire was warm and the atmosphere was welcoming.I highly recommend a visit here. 👍

Great pub. The lady who served us was super friendly, prices of a schooner was a nice surprise and the food outstanding. I wasnt too hungry so I ordered a cheeseburger. The pattie was made there and was one and a half inches thick! Huge, tasty and one of the best cheeseburgers Ive had. We were out on the balcony so it was great for watching the passing traffic. Highly recommended.

Great food, generous serves. Especially appreciated the vegetarian options, including a delicious and decadent cauliflower parmigiana. Such a gem!

Good country pub

Don’t let the modest 60’s exterior fool you. This pub and bistro may not have the heritage facade of others in town but the hospitality and meals are some of the best in the area. Large portions and exceptional quality for steak and famous local Cowra lamb. Fresh vegetables (not frozenwith meals make for real quality country food. Surprises like Duck Ragu will also please those who like something special. My folks have run pubs for years and now grey nomads around the country...said it’s the best steak and veges they have had anywhere. You’ll also find a good range of wines outside the basic pub fare. Angela and Michael do a great job celebrating local produce and catering to a variety of tastes. Highly recommended.

Beer was great!!! Lunch was fabulous! Best loin chops ever with a crispy fat....they were thick and so delicious! Fish and chips were great too Huge meals. We will be back again

This hotel was over priced with what appeared to be teenagers cooking. I would not recommend this place. I recommend they step up in discipline in all areas of service and cooking as Cowra deserves so much better!

Great food and atmosphere, was a busy night though and the service was a tad slow. Still overall a great feed and good value for money.

Has no breakkie or place where U can get it. Stayed 4 nites but NOTHING was done in rooms over that period. Not clean, there was 1/2 a ml of dust on my bathroom window sill nobody seemed 2 care!

The accommodation here is very ordinary and when there are issues there is absolutely no communication, let alone compensation (ruined food due to dodgy fridge, blown out washer meant after work room change, put into the room next to the air con units or whatever they were, when plenty of rooms available, same room also had staples sticking out where strip between carpet and tiles was missing!!And not even an offer of a glass of wine. Cheap - yes, cheerful?! Very disappointing

15 of us went to celebrate a birthday.Starting with drinks near the wood fire we were made to feel very welcome by the friendly staff.Dinner was delicious, well presented and all meals arrived together.What made the night very special was the owner came out to say happy birthday to Tony and thanked us all for being there. Will definitely be going back.

I Dined there with friends.The atmosphere was pleasant , and it was nice and warm inside despite being rather chilly outside.My steak and vegetables were to my liking, and the Dianne sauce was one of the best Ive had.The prices were around the average / usual of todays.
