Lachay Hills in Huacho

Esta temporada no está tan verde pero muy está bien conservado. El personal es muy amable, el costo de la entrada es 15 soles para peruanos y 30 para extranjeros, está abierto hasta las 5pm, tiene 3 rutas para recorrer las lomas, se ven diferentes especies de aves.

Fue una experiencia increíble, llegué a las 11 am. Y pude realizar el recorrido de la Perdiz que dura aprox 2 horas. Al comienzo es un poco empinado pero luego es plano, recomiendo siempre ir por los senderos indicados ya que, por la neblina es fácil perderse. Recomiendo llevar una chompa delgada y un cortavientos por el aire que corre.Dentro del lugar hay baños, cafetería y una zona para comprar recuerdos, además cuenta con una zona de parrillas y un lugar para acampar 😁La entrada es hasta las 2 PM pero permiten quedarse hasta las 4:30.

Es espectacular! El lugar cuenta con 3 senderos para conocer el predio. Estos se diferencian por su tiempo de recorrido. No hay que tener experiencia en senderismo, la caminata no es muy exigente. Hay un observador y un puquial. Muy atentos en la época en la que van, ya que si hay mucha neblina no van a poder verlos. Dentro del predio hay un restaurante (donde empieza y termina el recorrido de los senderos), los precios son altos y las porciones no son muy generosas, lo compensa el sabor, muy rico. A la fecha el precio de la entrada es de S/15,00 y mayores de 60 años no pagan. Se puede ir en auto y hay estacionamiento hasta el restaurante

Aunque fue una muy buena experiencia, para Mayo está todo seco y lleno de neblina. No hay nada de gente, así es que el recorrido lo haces solito.La cafetería solo tenía galletas, cosas empacadas, gaseosas y agua.Desde la Panamericana es un camino bastante largo hasta la entrada de la Reserva, y de la entrada a la reserva es otro trayecto (de una sola viamás o menos largo hasta una especie de area destinada para los que van a acampar; y un 3er y último tramo (de una sola vía tambienque llega a un estacionamiento que da a los senderos para hacer los recorridos.El recorrido del Zorro es el más corto (45 minutostranquilamente lo hacen con niños de 5 años a más.Tener en cuenta que hay que caminar bastante y sería bueno ir con buen calzado y cómodo.Autos tipo sedan entran sin problemas y hay estacionamiento adentro.

Se tiene que ir en movilidad propia o en taxxi ya que desde donde te deja los autos hacia la entrada en trayecto es largo. En el trayecto no hay asientos de descanso para las personas mayores o niños,solo hay bancas después de un largo trayecto, tampoco hay tachos de basura, y el monto cobrado no incluye la entrada a los servicios higiénicos. El lugar tiene una hermosa vista cuando fui el 19 de setiembre de 2021.

Good place for trekking ♥

Absolutely amazing! Huge (5 hectaresnational park in a couple of hours car ride north from Lima. Its a beautiful green oasis in the middle of the dessert full of plants, flowers and singing birds!!! There are 3 hiking trails - 30 min, 1 hour and 2 hours. The longest is blue and it got better (more cinematic i would saylandscapes. Also there are 2 or 3 picnic zones with wooden tables so you can bring your own food. Also they have a little shop and restaurant. The only thing - the map is absolutely confusing, all ppl were complaining about that.. Also ITS NOT PET FRIENDLY😔 i still don’t understand why?! There are nothing that dogs could destroy there. Ppl would cause more damage leaving the plastic and scratching ancient stones. Any way- highly recomendable!Wet (greenseason is from August till October, the rest of the year its a dry dessert.

It was just as the photos shown but unfortunately I went couple weeks before winter and the whole site was filled with flies. People do a lot of barbecues and leave the place full of rotten meat :(

Awesome park, a place to go if visiting Peru!

Okay, so this place is quite beautiful in the right weather - but the price for camping for foreigners is just such a rip off.Its 60 sols PER PERSON to go and put up your own tent with no access to fresh water and unclean pit toilets. There was quite a lot of litter about in the camping area and on the trails. For the same price in Europe youd get access to swimming pools, hot showers and lovely grounds. I think someone is having a bit of a joke in the Peruvian government because this cant be a serious price?

Beautiful view, nice walk, but really need more toilet, especially clean ones. We have to wait almost 1 hour for toilet, 1 Sol per person

Beautiful hike for a family

Nice view and walk. One complain is that some paths didnt have any signing or bars indicating where to go and not go which made us walk off road and we almost didnt make it there alive with three children lol.

Great hiking place 2hrs away from Lima in the north. Best time to go is since September, when the hills start to turn green. It is a like a little paradise in the middle of the dessert. You will be captivated since the minute you start approaching it from far away. Great escape from the city
