Lac La Hache Provincial Park - Park and Garden in Williams Lake, Canada
Was driving around area and came by Lac La Hache Provincial Park, sat and chilled out very scenic
Swimming area, toilets, drinking water, picnic tables and benches, kids play area, sheltered picnic area, boat launch.
I loved spend the they in this place with my family
Its a great place to spend the day. There is a designated swimming area. There is also a large covered picnic area, for wet weather. A nice playground.
Day use is a nice spot to stop. Boat launch as well.
Beautiful Rest Area
Lovely beach. The water was pretty murky and dirty but still a good place to splash around and cool off on a hot summers day
Great place to stop for a day picnic while traveling in the area. Washrooms and picnic area were both clean and in good shape.
A wonderful place to camp. There are about 80 sites, many are big enough for a trailer/RV. There is running water and flush toilets. No showers though. Camp hosts are super friendly and keep the sites in tip-top condition. Each site comes with a fire pit and large picnic table. There is considerable road noise because it is beside the highway. Bring earplugs and you will be fine. There is a walking path to the Lake which has a day-use park with picnic tables and swimming area. Campsite is between 100 Mile House and Williams Lake. A gas station is close by to pick up ice and other necessities. We have been several times and will be back!
Beautiful clean park, nice bathrooms, lots of sites, friendly park manager
What a great park and day use beach area. Theres flush toilet ls, picnic tables and a play ground. Beautiful park area
The campground was a pleasant surprise! Bathrooms had electricity, flush toilets and soap dispensers at the sink. The campground sites are well spaced with lots of shade and privacy. We were impressed with how quiet and respectful the people were even on the weekend. It’s close to the highway but the noise dropped off at night. The walkway under the highway to the lake is a great feature. The beach area at the lake is a bit small and unfortunately the outdoor shower at the beach, recommended to wash off anything that causes swimmer’s itch, has been removed. Nice picnic shelter and several tables however!
Great spot for swimming with the family and has good amount of picnic tables for all to use.
Awesome campground! Very clean and tidy 😃 Nice job, to the ranger that cares for this Park. She was very friendly!
A well maintained provincial park. Not on the lake but was a good place to stop for the night.
Cute campground with good amenities and friendly hosts. Road traffic can be a bit loud so the farther back the better. Pro tip: There is a pedestrian tunnel under the highway to the lake.
Beautiful campsite and good prices
Nice little park and the lake is beautiful
One of our most beautiful rv spots. Dry camping, but we knew in advance and prepared for it. Canadian $15
Amazing and well maintained camp ground. The lake is beautiful no matter what time what time a year.Great stop before Williams Lake to enjoy the serenity and beauty of the area.
Quiet lakefront and campground in early June. Clean facilities with lots of picnic benches and a sheltered area. Shower on the lake was in disrepair. We were car camping and went for a shower at the laundromat opposite the library in 100 Mile House. Campground is on the other side of the highway, but theres a tunnel near the park/campground entrance.
Nice place but to many drunks when we went. Women half naked trying to gain my husbands attention. I mean people who want to be that way should be in a designated area of the park so us quite ones can injoy.
No showers. Close to noisy hwy. No thanks
Great campground, just had a big black bear wander through, flush toilets, large sites and across from a nice lake. $18 per night a bargain.
Lots of day use picnic tables here
Lac La Hache Provincial park. Usual super natural BC park, lots of trees, space between spots. Well kept flush toilet. Under road tunnel access to lake.
Easy campground. Good for an overnight stop. Can be a bit noisy so close to the highway.
A great location for a Family gathering. Washrooms are neat and clean, with change rooms near the swimming area. A covered picnic area, with plenty of outside benches and picnic tables. Lots of pararie dogs in the area, and plenty of fish in the lake. The Provincial Park for camping is on the opposite side of the highway, which has a walkway going under the road. When we visited there were very few biting bugs, but plenty of dragon flies 👍.
Quite possibly the worst campground ever. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Poorly represented information onthe Discover Camping website. Extremely unlevel sites, little to no privacy, tight navigation if you have an RV unit, poor (after the turnsignage.
the. bathrooms here are top notch-clean and well maintained.Talkative groundhogs, too, although not very interesting conversation. mostly its just one word, over and over.Still, they do what they can.
It is a beautiful place. But the furniture was very uncomfortable and old. The cabin was not sanitized. We did it. Like I said though, beautiful cabin and so close to the lake makes it worth the trip.
The spots in the campground are well maintained, but the rest of the park is not that great. We wanted to go for a walk on the trail on the map, but it was overgrown and we werent even sure we were on the right trail. There is access to the day use area via an underground tunnel that goes under the highway, but its not swimmable. Being so close to the highway can be loud, even in an RV. Not much around the park, but youre close to 108 Mile Ranch, which is a must visit, and 100 mile, where there is a complimentary sani dump.
Really nice spot with fairly private sites and a good view
Wonderful lake. Not good for swimming.
Depending on your site #, right beside HWY but no issue sleeping...had a great range between campsites. Hosts are very kind
Had a nice stay. Spots are to close together and very small. lake is huge didnt get any fish but kids love tubing here.
A good place to unwind if youre making an Alcan trip. The park had plenty of spots available. Nice lake across the street.
We did a drive through but didnt camp. We are 50 and no space long enough. Heavily treed with plenty of space between sites. 18 per night is reasonable. Fire pits. Santi dump on the way out.
It’s a hidden gem! Well kept park! Has plenty of picnic tables and even a covered area for bigger events. Change rooms were nice and roomy. Nice playground for the kids. Lots of parking. Not much sand but the swim area is gradual and easy on the feet. Easy access to the water!
Amazing! Friendly host, reusable mesh bags for the wood bundles, large sites that arent jammed together, park operators patrol quite often, and lots of cute birds and squirrels.Only downside is the mosquitoes! Come armed with bug spray and head-nets! The mosquitoes are vicious and will swarm you in seconds if you stop moving. Lucky for me they went away after dusk!
Nice and clean campgrounds. The site is next to the highway so it may be loud. Lots of mosquitos. There are flush toilets everywhere, only cold water and no showers. The facilities were cleaned twice a day. The lake is across the highway but is accessible near the entrance through a tunnel. All in all not too bad, but would appreciate some hot showers after lake time.
Park was mostly empty with best campsites next to highway. It is very wooded and the mosquitos were swarming. Park host wanted full u.s. $$ for site, no conversion. Dump station was out of order. No services, just a place to park. Use ur money more wisely and stay across the highway on the lake with services for $26 cad.
This park is located on both sides of hwy 97 north of 100 Mile House. On the lake shore you will find the picnic/beach day use are with lots of parking, good tables, benches and some shady spots. Limited sand, lots of grass, good playground, shelter, and concrete boat launch. Up the hill and across the hwy is the campground. Rather hilly, but some nice lake views, level sites, flush & pit toilets, no services, but drinking water taps available. Some sites are close to the road with road noise. Large trees provide nice shade. Good tables and fire pits. No showers, some sites not suitable for RVs, 3 bars on cell phone.
July 2018 - Stayed for the night in spot 58 with our 40 RV and it was spacious and enough room for our tow car. The only negative was the amount of aggressive mosquitoes. There is a walkway under the highway for access to the beach area - very nice park
Nice private campsites, the host was friendly and the water refreshing after a hot day. We did not have a reservation but there were lots of available sites.
Beautiful little park off the side of the road. Right across the highway is the park and beach. The boat launch (its a little tight. Dont waste too much time getting in the water)Lake is gorgeous. We snorkled McDougall island (we learned from a local ancestorand had minnows swim all around us. Great experience.
Nice sites. Wooded and private. The pit toilets were the fullest and stinkiest ones we have been in this year on our 90+ day trip. The lake had goose poop all over the beach. Very hard to walk without stepping in it.
Absolutely gorgeous scenes. Very peaceful as well. The park had very clean bathrooms with running water, and the park attendant was very friendly.
Great place, very family friendly. Beautiful location!
Beautiful lake and campground. The lake was warm for swimming. The bathrooms had sinks and running water as apposed to outhouses. The campsites are sheltered by Douglas fir. To boot there is cell reception.
