Maze & observation tower near the highest point in the country, with a water play area & team games.
3 choices to choose from in which direction you want to go...towards Germany, Belgium or to remain in The Netherlands. Can also climb the lookout tower, get lost in the maze, chillen at one of the cafés or take a short hike into one of the above countries. We hiked down towards Moresnet and back up only to discover that the lookout tower was opened as opposed to when we arrived at around 11 am. No time is stated on the board when the tower is opened for visit.
Its a fun labyrinth but the arrows were all wrong...
Fun activity with friends and family. Tickets are not expensive. You get to learn the history of the place and also solve the Labyrinth. Very beautifully designed puzzle.
It’s one of our favourite places to visit :it’s got a few restaurants and a great playground.A great place to take kids.
Awesome experience to visit the place. Very excited to visit three countries border point.
It was the best labirynth we have ever been to. It is really difficult, we spent an hour and couldnt reach the goal. Water traps are FABULOUS and are the highlight of labirynth. Be sure to arrive early so you have enough time to conquer the labirynth.
So we went their 3 weeks ago. We usually go on hikes ib the area. But this time we visited the labyrinth with my 2years old daughter. We as adults enjoyed it. As for the little one she enjoyed the animal sculptures the flowers here and there. The water things I would say it was a 50/50 for her. The only thing that was a real bummer, the stroller! I dont recommend to go with the baby strollers. Because sometimes you need to climb the stairs and it will be difficult with it. We will definitely go again maybe when the kid is older with no stroller because overall it was a fun activity.
Had such a great visit! Make sure you stop for fries!
It was ok. But far beyond expectations.
What a experience too see 3 countries joined together.so many places too sit down and having a lunch. Great hiking trails and cycling paths, awesome views.Be proud of your countrys
Nice enough place, a bit touristy, as you might expect. Couldn’t pay for labyrinth because all my debit and credit cards are Mastercard and I didn’t have cash - I haven’t needed it anywhere else. The sign said “debit cards only” but it really means Maestro. So we just wandered around awkwardly and waited in line to take the obligatory photo at the three-country-point. The flags are nice.We parked on the roadside and walked up, which was lucky because the car park tokens are also sold in the labyrinth shop, so I would have been stuck with no way to pay!
Awesome labyrinth and one of the best ones Ive been in if not the best. It was way more tricky than I had anticipated. I did not get lost as my orientation and memory allowed me to get back to the entrance with ease but the exact route to the middle somehow eluded for an hour. Along the way I saw many of the same faces over and over again, some even frustrated. 😅
We had a lot of fun! I can recommend it to yall especially with children. Beautiful Forest to walk and hike there and the labyrinth is awesome!
Fun experience! For kids and competitive adults 😊
Alot of fun n interesting. Nothing and absolutely nothing is free. These Caucasians like to get paid for every single service or thing they provide, but refuse to pay certain people for over 300 years of unpaid labour. But nertheless its expensive but still a must see and a must experience
I liked it much, we were trying to get out of the labyrinth up to 2 hours)))
Beautiful forest that surrounds this place offers a quiet moment listening to birds singing, or an I retesting place to explore with family and kids. There are view towers you can climb, the kids can enjoy labirynt to play in. There is a souvenir shop with postcards and other things. It is not expensive. You can enjoy some fries or icecream.
Great place to have a nice walk and fantastic views over the region. Plenty to do for kids as well.Food is a bit on the more expensive side and not not that great for the price.Parking is ok but more charging points are required and they need better signage
Very difficult to travel by public transportation. A small van, may be 12 seater runs between nearest bigger stop to Drielandpunt. So better to take own vehicle. Parking is not expensive.Place is good with a decent restaurant around.
The place is an interesting one, although the pillar marked where people usually take pics is only a symbolic of the place. Feels nothing like being in different countries but the people around you are from different nations which makes the place the more vibrant. The place as such is mostly in Netherlands, would recommend this place definitely.
Very pleasant place to visit three countries in one go, Highly recommended.
Great! You get to see Germany, Belgium and Netherlands at once. You can really spot the differences!
There are several options when you visit this place. First of all you can of course take pictures of the landmarks showing the point where the three countries meet. You can do that for free if you bike up the mountain (or walk). However for the normal people that take the car up you can park for 2.50. Also there is a maze, fast food place and a playground. Or if the mountain/hill is not high enough there is a tower to go even higher. These last options cost you some money.
Its a nice way to spend sometime over there specially if you walk a lot in order to get to the borders point. It takes average 45 to 55 minutes to finish it and exit. Very good choice for children also
Nice place. Have to visit atleast once. Hardly recommended.
We had a very nice time - funny to stand between 3 different borders at the same time. Great for kids as there is a big playground and big labyrinth where the kids can play for hours. The big tower will provide a beautiful view into Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands, the cist is 4€ pp. There is also a possibility to get some food and drinks or go for a walk in the beautiful scenery in the forest.
Very fun, just be careful with the water barriers!
Amazing place to experience 3 countries together.. Beautiful views and looks scenic with the autumn colours.. definitely a weekend getaway..
The point where the 3 countries Netherlands, Belgium and Germany meets. Its a unique place due to its position in the map. This is also the highest point in mainland Netherlands. There are nature trails around here you can take. Also a tower is here from top of which you can see views of all these 3 countries. You have to pay 4 euros per person to climb the tower. Since it had a lift it was kind of okay. The place did not have the ambience we anticipated. May be due to the corona restrictions the place is not getting maintained properly. How ever its a nice place to have some quality evening.
Should be an interesting and special place, but the ambiance and experience does not express this.
The point where the 3 countries meet (DE, BE & NL). There are markings where the 3 countries and is always buzzing with photo enthusiasts. An interesting tower is situated further down from the parking after kids play area. You can walk to the top and see the surroundings of all 3 countries.Maze: If you have some time and kids are energetic to find the center of the maze, this place is definitely worth of it. Kids and adults alike will enjoy this place and the challenge it poses. From the outside one may not feel the complexity of the maze but is definitely is good. It was fun trying to find our way through this maze :-)Recommend this for enthusiasts
It just cant get better. It is really easy and accessible from Aachen. The border is technically on a hill, which in itslef makes it so interesting. You have to do a small trek in order reach the place. There are two coffee shops/ restaurants along the way, so you can be rest assured that you will have something to eat or drink. (Not really needed as it is a short trekYou can also climb up the Balduin tower to have a look at Belgian city of Gemmenich, Dutch city of Vaals and German city of Aachen.
Nice place to hike around. There are many trails and a viewing tower. The ticket to go up the tower is EUR 3.50. We hiked to this place from Vaals. There are multiple parking areas for people who drive.
nice playground, with a beautiful view, we enjoy especially its sunny day☀
Wonderful place. Calm and quiet to have fun in the border. Visit 3 counties in a matter of 30 seconds hehehehehe
This place is lovely with great scenery. We had fun at the labyrinth and had a little difficulty solving it but we made it to the finishing point at the middle.👎🏼downside: No Public toilets. we had to go back down all the way to the center of the town just to look for public toilets. So be ready when you go there.
One time visit place at the borders of Germany , Netherlands and Belgium. You can reach here by public transport from Vaals, Netherlands.
It is a very special place located between 3 countries: Germany, Holland and Belgium. Worth to visit.
Super Location , find the way in through the Labyrinth, its fun but takes an hour to find all points !
This Three-Country Point, known as in Dreiländerpunkt in German, It was four country border between 1830 and 1919. This happened because Neutral Moresnet used to exist in the as well.Try to trek from Reutershag bus stop. Use off road track to reach this point via jungle. Its pretty safe I believe because I covered this solo. Want some adventure then try this route or else go by road.
Nice view but get read to pay 4 euros for it. Had fun there but I was kind of expecting more. I will really recommend the place for people touring Europe
The maze is super well maintained, nicely equipped with bridges, misleading signs and passages where (unexpectedlywater is injected. Furthermore, the maze is large enough to roam around for 1 to 2 hours. Certainly worth the money! (Costs are 5.50 euros for adults, 4.50 for children and is free for toddlers/babies up to 3 years).
Great family destination! Playgrounds, walking trails, observation towers, restaurants, and of course a cool maze. The maze was more difficult than we anticipated and a lot of fun. Plan to spend a couple hours exploring. Check out the marker for the highest point in the Netherlands and be sure to stand in three countries at once!
A scenic hike from the German side; follow the google maps- there are guiding posts on the way too.You will walk through the woods, a lot of locals walk their dogs here so don’t worry about getting lost! A good picnic spot to spend time with the kids.
This was a fantastic place to spend the day its where 3 countries meet Belgium Netherlands and Germany. There are many things to do there are two towers to climb the 2 restaurant gift shops some other small eateries. There is also a lovely park for the kids to use. There is a very large Maze there as well this maze is very tricky and if you have kids like mine they did not enjoy the water fountains you had to walk through at times. Handy tip if you dont want to get wet there is a little sensor in the bush to turn the fountains off but that is only on some of the fountains. If you come from the Belgium side theres a car park that you do not need to pay for but if you come from the Netherlands side it looks like you have to pay around €2. There is some great photos opportunities such as standing on the point where all the 3 countries meet. I feel that the maze / Labrinth hes quite costly but I can imagine its a lovely place to spend when it is a bright summers day as there are lots of different water things. I would suggest bring it out with you and baby swimming costume if you want to get your moneys worth in the Labyrinth. The Two Towers are great fun me and my youngest enjoyed our self very much my oldest daughter and my wife had some issues being up so high.
A great place to visit for the day. Several food options from cafe to full restaurant. The Labyrinth was worth the 5€ and was pretty challenging. There is plenty to see and do and kids will love the play ground.
Its really nice place for the kids for holiday but also for the adults for hiking biking and relaxing chilling, love the place and near to wilhelminatoren where u can found a great view
Nice place to feel that we stand on 3 countries at the same time. The place is quite windy and cool. Better u bring jacket. On summer its 14°c, on the top of tower feel like 9-10°c. Going up to the tower only 3,5 euro. Its really worth to try. Dont forget bring your camera.
I am sorry to tell you that this labyrinth is purely for kids. The whole labyrinth is full of German kids because their parents cross the border and drive them here. In another word, it is a German park.
The day was pleasantly cool. Sunshine warm. We parked near the top but not at the top. From where we parked, there are several trails. We took one and after a 10 min walk (which accommodated a baby strollerwe arrived at the top. Very scenic views! There a play ground suited for maybe 4 - 5 yr olds and up. Also a more toddler friendly area but it was in disrepair.
