The adobado burrito made me cry tears of joy (literally). Im a California girl and having been searching for an authentic taqueria. This place is fantastic.

Im doubling down on my 5 star rating for La Rancherita a year and a half after my first review. Much has happened since that review. After becoming a huge fan, it turns out La Rancherita closed at its original location much to my dismay. On Facebook, they mentioned that theyd be back soon in a new location. I checked constantly, waiting to see when theyd be back. One day, the address was updated on their page and I immediately drove to the address only to find they hadnt started even putting the space together yet. After what felt like forever, I saw the announcement they had reopened and I couldnt wait to see if they were still just as good.The newest location is quaint, clean and quiet. At first, the menu was pretty limited, but still had the insanely delicious and affordable tacos. At that time, they only took cash. The only source of cash nearby is the "Yaks" market next door at some astronomical ATM fee. Needless to say, my laziness to get cash curtailed further visits to this place more often.Flash forward to today, where I had cash and was craving tacos. I was pleasantly surprised to see that she now has a card machine and that her menu has expanded back to what I had seen when I first tried them out. Im glad to see shes flourishing now in this location. Her tacos are as amazing as ever. I tried her Adobada and Pastor tacos on my most current visit and they are amazing! Along with the usual Carne Asada, I was super satisfied today for such a cheap price. Plus I have enough to have some more later.If youre craving Mexican, before going to your favorite place, give this place a chance and see how they stack up. You might just find yourself asking the tacos: "where have you been all my life?"

Great food! Seasoning and flavors are always consistent and explosive! Housemade salsa roja is amazing. Service is quick, friendly and efficient. Love the lady who owns and runs it!

Simply the best you can find this far from the border

We come from Lynnwood and we found this wonderful, delicious restaurant. The food here is wonderful u can taste the love in the food no matter what u choose to eat. And the prices are incredably affordable. I personally recommend it.

Small place with big flavors. Awesome carnitas tacos and fruit sides.

Love their food and aunty that takes the order, so nice.

I sadly have to drastically lower the rating. I used to get asada tacos all the time. Over time the asada was way overcooked just about every time. It would resemble jerky. She needs to work on consistancy.

Amazing! I personally go there once or twice a week. My go-to dish is the torta which never fails to impress. Very good prices for amazing food. Definitely a stop you should make.

I came in here once four months ago and have came back in almost everyday since. Great prices and amazing food I have ate at many Mexican resturaunts and this place has been the best. I wake up craving this restaurant !!! Good lord I’m addicted. PLEASE TRY THIS PLACE YOU WONT REGRET IT.

I have now eaten there about a dozen times, trying a new item on the menu each time. This is the most delicious and most authentic Mexican food I have eaten north of the border. I work both at Silverdale and Port Orchard and try and stop in there on my way between offices if the timing is good for lunch or dinner. If the hour is late I often stay at the Super 8 across the road and if I stay there I always eat here. The taste of the food, the spices and the preparation is awesome. The place is easily overlooked as it does not stand out as it is located in a small end of a building next to a minimart. If you really like great tasting authentic Mexican food then do not be deceived by the rather austere appearance and minimalist furnishings. I am nearly 64 years old and have loved Mexican Food all my life, having eaten in hundreds and hundreds of Mexican places in this country and across the border from Texas. I honestly rate the taste of this food the best of any. If you havent tried this place you are missing a treat. Nothing in Seattle even compares; you need to travel a couple thousand miles to even be in the same league.

Omg!!!!! Ive lived in Wa for 3 years now from California and if theres one thing I miss is real authentic mexican food. This place was soooo good. I got a carne asada burrito and a veggie burrito for my friend (also from Caboth of us were highly satisfied and will definitely be back! My only suggestion would be to get a bigger flashier sign so people know your restaurant is there.... cant wait to come back. ¡Muchas Gracias!

maybe i tried it on a bad day. the taco salad was watery and flavorless. the meat in my burrito was gristly. ive never been back to try again.

Delicious Al Pastor burrito with queso fresco. Good prices. Friendly Mom-and-Pop place. Some unique menu items I had never heard of. Mexican gentleman waiting with me said it was some authentic Mexican stuff. Seating available in a no frills interior. No alcohol. Cash only. Ill be back.

Stopped by to try the tacos and am happy to report that theyre incredible. Cant wait to come back and try something else! Cash only and a nice little seating area.
