I wanted to visit the place As I intend to invite my guests. But i was told i had to Order the food first. I just came from lunch!!! I asked if i could get something to Drink in the Restaurant, no! I ve NEVER EVER expérienced something like this.

Kitschy experience I suppose but all the food we ordered was WAY too spicy to the point that it wasn’t enjoyable at all. Plantains were way over cooked.

I have given it 4 stars for potential and tasty food. The space is lacking a lot of attention to detail and the bar is appalling. However, when you have a date or you are a group with no one else there, its like chattering a plane and that is a nice feel! The outdoor area has better ambiance.

The outside is quite beautiful to look at; it makes you anticipate a wonderful experience inside. However you get in and I’m disappointed. The interior decor isn’t very appealing for a restaurant that is one of its kind in the whole country. Seating arrangement isn’t very good, climate control wasn’t the good either. The whole interior deco is quite wacky and lacks any real creativity or innovation. It doesn’t help with your appetite at all.The waitresses aren’t the best dressed; looking like choristers or ushers in a local church in some rural place. The presentation of the food wasn’t very good. I mean how do you serve spring rolls with just shito. One thing I’d give them though is their support for local industry by serving local chicken for their chicken wings. The waitresses and staff need to be either sacked or retrained properly by someone who knows what they’re doing and has exposure.The food was basically an epitome of confusion. It tasted fine ; nothing exceptional though. The presentation wasn’t very impressive; especially the plantain, those looked like how you’d fry and serve plantain at home when you’re alone.For a “unique” airplane restaurant located in the airport they should be able to do much much better to serve the wide array of patrons of the airport.

Lets start from the beginning; the outside it draws you in, looks like its going to be really fancy. But as soon as you walk in, its like oh a bit of a disappointment. The service is slow and the staff havent good a very work attitude, even the uniform for the staff was completely not appropriate as restaurants. However they do support local poultry farmers.So starters were so so, the spring rolls were served with shito, which is not correct, sweet chili sauce is better. The chicken wings were okayish.The table setting wasnt decent at all.So main course, it was something. The rice was just okay, could of had more spice in the jollof and the fried rice seemed quite plain. The kebabs were pretty good to be fair ( Chicken or beef )The salad we ordered came 10 mins after we receive our main food.The tilapia didnt taste alright it wasnt fresh at all. The ateke was just okay as well.The music was the most enjoyable part of outing. The sauces were just not right, the dressing for the salad was like double cream .Honestly, the management of this place is not good at all.I would not recommend coming back here, its good to come that one time and then never returnMuch disappointment

This is a very lovely restaurant.Visited this place and I totally love their menu and aesthetics!Wonderful receptionist, great ambiance, and yes, it is affordable too!You also have a very good view for pictures and panorama.

Very quirky place to go to for lunch. I quite liked the concept. The plane is rather well preserved although you couldn’t see outside really well due to dust on the windows. The staff at the reception inside the plane was so lovely, the others, not too bothered… Food was ok, prices reflect the quirkiness of the experience. I’m happy I went

With enough parking space, open air for those who would love to sit under the aeroplane. However, the tables were dirty upon our arrival outside. Waitress were now getting rags to clean. It seems they were not ready for customers. The menu price list was on a high side that is, if you want to eat rice with either chicken or beef sauce . I guess the location is a factor. We couldnt get the opportunity to enter the plane because they said they were having maintenance with their air condition. But there wasnt any notices to the public with that effect. Our excitement of visiting the place for the first time was just quench with everything going on there. From there you can catch a glimpse of the new airport terminal edifice. And the Marina Mall just behind.

Cozy environment. But the food orders delay in coming especially the drunks who i see no reason why it should keep long in coming

Very bad treatment of customers, the place is unfriendly and unwelcoming. The outdoor furniture is old and worn-out. Naomi is not good for business and stubborn as a manager

It was ok. Nothing special really. Just a different experience from a normal restaurant cos its the shell of a commercial plane. Felt they couldve leaned in more into the airline ambience

Nice restaurant. If you want to have a nice time out with a loved one and at same time, feel that feeling of being in an airplane then LA Tante DC 10 restaurant is the place. Personally I enjoyed the place.

This is a top class restaurant. Its cozy interior and friendly waiters and waitresses is very inviting. The atmosphere is so calm and serene. Its a place to be. The concept of dinning on a plane is very creative. The menu and price is good. I had Banku and okro soup with beef. Its has no accessibility features.

After being In Ghana for quite a whileI’ve always wanted to go and visit that nice restaurant I passed by evry timeI went there with my partner and we enjoy a grilled fish with the gifted almighty jollof 🔥🤟🏾 with a fantastic cooked okra soupSerious it was delicious and despite the fact that the pandemic messed everything, the manager there was pushing her staff to do more and being curious I paid attention to the convo , very enthusiastic people ready to serve youOh seigneur , c’était bon 📍✨

Redecorated. Seating now a lot more relaxing especially if youre flying afterwards and want further aircraft seats. Still has some aircraft seats that gives a lovely experience. The beer is spot on chilled. Perfect hang out place if youre catching up a flight at Kotoka. Just walk across.

I wish I could give 0/5. I was terribly disappointed with the service at this restaurant. 5 of us came here for our last meal before embarking on a long flight to the States. The waitress was not welcoming, scolded us for taking photos of this plane. We were forced to order food in the waiting area other than at a table. Why?Then we were literally rushed to decide on what we were going to eat. When we asked for drinks, we were then ordered to go sit outside..this was before we decided on what to eat. At this point we decided to leave.No I dont recommend this place. PERIOD!!

Lovely concept, sumptuous meal, beautiful ambience and friendly staff. If youre are plane freak then, this wont be a bad idea at all. The meal is also very worth every cedi. This restaurant is very accessible and its just right beside the airport. Hence, there is no reason not to be able to visit this restaurant when in Ghana. The only area of improvement will be if the interior of the plane is upgrade a bit. I know it is an old and retired aeroplane, however the interior can be a bit more contemporary. Lovely place overall.

Its a hit or miss with this restaurant. You have to be really intrigued by the idea of dining in an aircraft turned into a restaurant. The food is great most times and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Visited here once again. Met a waitress called Rita. She made me sit on the four seats to the right of the entrance and gave us the menu. We were 4 in number.We ordered for some few soft drinks and we were told that; we cannot sit on any of the round tables that has been set up because we never ordered for a food. Because; customers who buy food would only be allowed to sit around tables. I asked why that sadden new rule and when was that new policy initiated. She told me that; the policy has been initiated since the beginning of the month.It was sad. I had wanted to have a dinner but; l felt it was rude to be treated that way. Not sure if there is actually a new policy or she just made something up to prevent us from enjoying the comfort of the relaxation around a table on the flight. I was expecting to see such new policy posted for the notice of customers. Hmmm. I have really adviced myself with regards to going back there again.Thank you for reading.

Worst place to eat in Accra. Good for drinks or water 😂. I repeat dont waste your money in this plane✈️ restaurant. The customer service is really bad -1/10. The cost of food is very expensive and has no taste at all. I will amend this review if and only there is an improvement both staff and food. My honest opinion!

I was there 2017 and I really enjoyed their meal.They serve various kind of meals and drinks too. They should reduce their prices because its kinda expensive100% score to their services (Y)⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️☺️

Located right in front of the new terminal 3 of Ghanas Kotoka International Airport, La Tante is an old DC10 aircraft creatively converted to a restaurant and bar serving Ghanaian cuisine. Guests includ air travellers and tourists as well locals looking to relax and enjoy food and drink. Neat and clean interior with ample space outside and beneath the aircraft for outdoor seating. Nice attendants but delays getting the food.

It has been a while ago when I went there and I didnt eat anything so this review is only about the place. I dont think you need to go here for excellent food, but sitting in an airplane is very special.For people who have never been in an airplane this is a very interesting place The seats, windows, everything is just the same as in a plane, so I think especially for children it is a nice experience.You have to go to the toilet, because that is also the same as in a real airplane.After I had visited the place, they repainted he outside in different colors, I hope they didnt change the unique airplane interior.

This is more of a novelty place than a good restaurant. You see that plane and when you here it is a restaurant it sounds interesting, but its not. The food isnt all that great, neither is the service. The prices are high so I guess part of the upkeep for the retired DC10. Dont go here.

Very poor customer service. Waitresses dont communicate professionally. Their Menu is disorganized, Example; if a customer is ordering banku and okra stew, it has to be ordered separately with each priced.Each plates are expensive but had small amount of meat or fish served. They dont have varieties or dessert, they only sell chocolate ice cream, and no manners to give common toothpick to their customers after meals.

We were exploring Marina Mall and saw this plane from the window. As we got closer we realised it was a restaurant! We walked in expecting the price of food to be extortionate - it actually wasnt too bad. The grilled fish was very good. The lady that served us was friendly and told us the history which was interesting.Its a shame that its so empty.Now we enjoyed it so much we went a second time but it was so bad it lost 2 stars from me. (If I had reviewed this based on my first visit it would have been 5stars). The waitress that served us the second time was so grumpy she made it a poor experience for us. When we were ordering food we felt we were being judged. She didnt give us enough napkins and didnt give us a knife and fork untill we had asked for it. And she forgot our spring rolls.

Its a very cool and nice place to eat. As an aerospace student, I really enjoyed going there. However the biggest drawback of this restaurant is the customer service. The waitresses are rude and not welcoming at all. If you want to deliver service on a plane, then engage people who will be as welcoming as air hostesses.
