La Table De Tee - Fine dining restaurant in Bangkok, Thailand
Dont expect exotic Thai cuisine, the food is excellent but very westernized. So it was disappointing, also considering the steep prices. Visited mostly by couples. Good service.
Absolutely AMAZING five course meal with serving sizes PERFECT so as not to feel excessive. An unassuming place with very 80s aesthetic and excellent music selection to match the ambiance. The owner is wonderful and very attentive throughout, making this absolutely our favorite food spot in Bangkok. Highly recommended!!!
I have been coming to this restaurant since 6-7 years ago, before Michelin Guide came to Thailand. It was one of my favorite restaurants due to the price, food quality and creativity. My recent visit after the restaurant gained their Michelin recommendation was rather disappointing due to the smaller amount of food they offered in the set dinner; it was like 1/3 the amount compared to what they had offered in the past. The same sauces and ingredients were used for multiple dishes.
We have been a few times to this restaurant and have never been disappointed. Living in the South of Thailand, we always look forward to a trip to BKK so we can have dinner at this place. Great fusion food that will have many different tastes in one dish to surprise your palate. Owner is very friendlyand it is unbeatable value for the price.
A small restaurant tucked away in a dead end street. It is basically the ground floor of a shophouse, so no real elegance to the setting. It also lacks the accoutrements of usual fine dining, - just well thought out and well presented food. So, if looking for that "special" night out, it is probably not the right place. If looking for imaginative food in unpretentious surroundings, then after a number of visits it has never disappointed.
Good, but not great. First dish started off so well, but second and especially third (tomato risotto with oystersdisappointed. Dessert had a nice mix of flavors, but the chocolate fondant was cooked all the way through. Based on reviews and price we expected a bit more, hence the rating. Overall a Cozy and quiet little restaurant with friendly and attentive staff.
First of all, this is definitely NOT a fine dining restaurant. Its located in a non-descript alley with almost fast food style decoration (with constant loud Tom Jones music in the background). Service is sincere but sloppy, food can only be described as an attempt to fine dining, with deliberate plating. But taste is no where near fine dining, period.
We were happy to finally find time for French food in Bangkok. Overall it was a mediocre experience. Food was average, some dishes not good. Dissapointing price.
Nice cosy restaurant with nice service staff.Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t have a wide choice of wines that day.Food was good but would have expected more for the price and repute.Hopefully it was an anomaly having visited on a Sunday night.
Very good service. Quiet and small area. Will come back again.
Very costly restaurant!Love every single dish that appears on the table from the bread at the very beginning !Second time visiting and there will be many more!Very friendly waiters and really amazing food!
Very good food and service. Excellent flavours and decent portions on the taster menu. Highly recommended
We had an amazing meal. The ingredients were fresh and cooked to perfection. The service was very attentive. Michelin grade at a reasonable price. Two 4-course meals with two glasses of the house wine for around 3000B. They will cater to food allergies and customize the meal the way you like it.
It was valentines day and the initial place we planned on going was fully booked and we were fortunate to have stumbled upon this little restaurant tucked inside a small alleyway. Due to the special occasion they only have set dinner available but we thought gave it a try. Both me and my wife are not big eaters and we appreciate the option to share one 5 course set menu. Every dish was served promptly one after another, we enjoyed all of them particularly the desserts which they given us a complimentary serving on the house! Overall it was a pleasant meal, food was good but service was even better. Will return on our next visit to Bangkok.
Valuable but ingredients and cooking skills need more practice and improvement. Lamb was very dry during my visit.
Great fine dining for affordable price. The set menu with 5 courses changes every week. Its a culinary fireworks every time! Very good service, too.
Unfortunately it fell way below our expectations. For the 5 course we had the sauces seem to be repeating themselves after the 2nd dish. We thought the fudge ice cream was great but it turned out to be baskin Robbins...so we were not impressed. One star for the chocolate cake my friend had.
Best meal Ive had in Bangkok. Western food, to be sure, which may be a disappointment to travelers, but so well done that this seems a petty complaint. Modest space, and its clear that all the money has gone into the kitchen, as it should. Prix fixe menu, with a couple choices. Excellent presentation at every stage. If there is one complaint, it would be that the kitchens considerable technical skill is sometimes applied to crowd-pleasing dishes that lack the flavor they might have. I take this as a sign of business struggles, and its a good sign, all things considered, but the chef is better than her menu.
Delicious 5 course menu at very reasonable price. Small but good winelist also with affordable prices. Very friendly staff and cozy atmosphere
Not bad but really need improvements in the quality of food and service. Also too many tables. Customers are sqeezed and they can not handle order and service correctly. We can not blame because we feel they try do their best but it definately need deep improvements to desserve the name of gastronomic restaurant and also having this middle/high range prices.
We went to this place to celebrate both our birthdays. Apparently, they change menus every week. So there are 4 courses and 1 dessert. There are only 2 choices from course 3 onwards so my hubby and I decided to try all of it. The food is not bad but the portions are really small except for the last dish (course 4which was quite decent, but still the fusion dish is a lil bit weird. Curry puff with marinated lamb rack? The lamb is good but we feel that the curry puff doesn’t really go well with it. I had the beef fillet which was good too but the rice dough is really weird. Nice try to be creative though. We paid THB3,320 for 2 pax for that night. I would say the price is definitely on the high side.
Nice place and good service. Especially, delicious food.
Location is easily accessible. 5 mins walk from train station. Premise is aged but cozy. Service is good with very friendly staff. Food is very good with standard menu. For those that wants variations, this place is not for you. Prices for food and wine are reasonable. Overall experience is good. A nice small cozy restaurant with standard set dinner menu that taste great.
Awesome food, great service. I just don’t understand those negative remarks which are totally unfair. I have been to countless restaurants that serve similar food and they may have plusher and more opulent atmosphere but their food just cannot compare to this hidden gem . And no one has paid me to write this review I might add
Interesting flavor fusion between French and Thai cuisine. Professional service.
Pleasantly intimate. Great service with sophisticated french modern asian food. Highly recommended at the price. 👍
Perfectly balanced menu that changes every week. La table de tee offers one of the most unique culinary experiences Ive ever had the please of enjoying. The food was the delicious, wine paring was perfect and ambience and service was even better. Place is small but must be to offer such a great experience. Make sure to do the reservations ahead of time.
Fusion not done right. Dishes put tgt by cheap ingredients. This restaurant is so far from what you would expect. It is very overpriced in bangkok standard. If you have tried fine dining you would be very disappointed in this as the way they incorporated the thai influence into the dishes were hasty. The dishes were put together with cheap food and they were nothing special. They only changed the sauce to make the dishes seem fusion. Stay away from it and don’t waste your money. Dun expect to be full after this dinner. You can eat so much more and so much better in bangkok with this money.
Less than average, apart from dessert every other dish had very bland flavours. Over priced and I was very disappointed with the food.
Amazing food! 5 well selected courses with the best of French and Thai cuisines. Great place to go if youre willing to spend a little bit more!
Very friendly staff. Don’t go if you’re expecting actual fine dining (and at c7000 baht for 3 PAX I kind of was). The dishes are decent but no amazing new kind of dish and a lot of ingredients was repeated from the different courses (eg. the same sauce 2-3 times). We had a good time but wouldn’t go again.
The best food Ive had so far in Thailand. It was a great marrying of culinary skills with a strong Thai influence. There wasnt a bad dish. A little on the pricey side for the area but you wont be disappointed. The only tip I have is finding it. Make sure to look down the alley with the sign. That is where youll find this bangkok gem.
For Bangkok food at all levels, the flavor at this place is average. At its price point, that makes this place decidedly not-good for me. Tasting menu had some great ideas and concepts on it when I went with a a friend, but dishes turned out consistently over-sauced. Meal was not objectively bad, hence rating, but fell short of expectations.
La Table Dee Tee is a contemporary fine dining space serving modern Thai with French flair. The menu is a seasonal, 5 course ala carte. Bookings are suggested, however when we went it wasnt as busy. The food was excellent. You can tell the chef paid careful attention to the flavours, texture and colours on the plate. However the service was a bit rushed. The entire experience couldve benefited from better pacing. All in all, a surprisingly affordable experience in the middle of Bangkok. If youre still keen, check out the Patong Night Market afterwards to complete your night.
Ambiance needs to be improved for a "fine dining" restaurant.Meal quality and taste needs to have huge improvement for the charged price.
Great restaurant hidden in a very quiet Bangkok soi. We ordered the set menu and wasnt disappointed. Phenomenal food each dish was brilliant and flowed well from the last. Bit expensive by local standards but if youre travelling like I was it will be one of the cheapest and best value tasting menu you will have.
Fancy but fun. Go for the experience and dont have expectations and youll enjoy it. Great food with high prices. Treat yourself. My wife and I had a blast here!
We found this restaurant randomly after my husband read about it on a blog. First of all, booking a table was very easy though the restaurants online booking system. Then, when we actually walked into the restaurant, we were warmly welcomed by the staff. Then came the food, which litterally blew my mind. My husband and I both chose the 5-course tasting menu and each disch was brilliantly executed and presented. The service was well timed (not too fast so that we didnt feel rushed but not slow so we didnt feel like waiting between courses). In the end, the tasting menu is a little bit pricey by local standards but the value for your money is definitely there. The menu is updated on a regular basis so Ill definitely go back for more!
This is a different experience for those used to quick and large plates of food. Multi course meal in a small, quaint, and dimly lit restaurant. The chef certainly knows what hes doing and the fact that it isnt a recurring menu makes it that much more personal. This restarestaurant is easily passed up when walking to it as its tucked away,, so keep your eyes out! Perfect for couples, not for groups or families
Fusion done right. We liked all the dishes, ingredients were fresh, seasonal and perfectly seasoned. Glad we were able to make reservation and score a table here. The space is extra cosy, we started our journey at 7 and left just a bit after 8:30, when the place got completely full.
Innovative French fusion, beautifully presented and well served. Better than meals Ive had in the US and Europe at many times the price. While not cheap (approximately $45 including service but not drinksit was excellent value.
A great small restaurant (that contradiction makes it even more interestingonly few tables and a pair of set menus, 2 reasons to call in advance to book a table and ask what is on the menu. In five visits we got four perfect dinners and one was good. (Funny how some people rank this restaurant by the parking spot). Its a great place try it!
Fantastic chef table french food that hidden in the middle of the city. Menu changed weekly, 6 courses menu at around 1500 THB each. Strongly recommended!
If you love food in a relaxed atmosphere, this is the restaurant for you! Our first visit but definitely wont be our last. Highly recommend!

Absolutely fantastic fusion. This chef loves to blend and create. Real pride in the food and great service.
Small intimate romantic restaurant in the Sala Daeng area of Bangkok. You can walk to this place from the Sala Daeng skytrain. The food is simply fantastic. There menu changes every day and you are given a small set menu where you have one or two choices to make. We had amazing food here, the meat was cones to perfection and the food was beautifully presented. The service is efficient and friendly without being over the top. The day menu is 1200 thb per person, which is very good value for this quality of food.
Good food but really tiny portion so if youre famish you might still feel a bit hungry after eating the set meal. Its only a set menu i.e. no a la carte menu and costs around 1200 baht per set. This place is tucked in an alley, I didnt realise that at last count there are at least 3 french restaurants in Saladaeng.
Interesting little fusion restaurant. Located in an alley, it is quite a small cosy restaurant but the ventilation is not the best. They only have a set menu that you must choose from which was 2 starters, 2 mains and a dessert - so best to call to find out what is on the menu before rocking up like what i didFood was prepared with great care and with flavours that are definitely quite different to what i am used to - fusion of Thai and European i would say. Good value for money and worth a try for those who want to try something different
Amazing value, such a revelation amongst the other fine-dining restaurants in Bangkok. IF you can get a table, dont miss out!
