La Stanza in Zürich (Kreis 2)

One of my favorite spots in Zurich for coffee! Great atmosphere and super friendly /efficient staff!

Top location, good service

Stylish yet relaxed place with a laid-back Italian atmosphere. On Saturdays when you go there for an Apéro they usually serve home-made pasta along with the drink as appetizer. Sit outside when it‘s sunny or have your Espresso Italian-style inside during winter: standing at the bar. Always crowded, definitely recommend!

Local feel and delicious coffee

I came here on a Saturday morning for a coffee to go. The barista served love in a cup. I can’t review any other aspects apart from the quality of the coffee this specific barista made.

Hustle and bustle with a nice crowd and friendly staff. This place has avery nice vibe.

A quick espresso near Paradeplatz- thats the pace.I like the stylish look inside.There are a few places to sit outdoors.

It is nice after work bar (there is a peak hour when it can get packed, but still you can stand on the street or in the side “garden”). During the weekend it is good place to have a coffee and read something. You can get some snacks as long as supplies last :stuff has been always nice

Good Aperol. Pretty busy, its tricky to find a table outside in sunny days, but if you care to wait a little bit, seats are quickly available.

Nice place to get a Spritz and if you are veryyy veryyy lucky you might get a piece of focaccia

Apparently according to my friend all bankers in Zürich come here after work🤷🏻‍♀️ Why? Ask them. Have patience at the bar and don’t come if you want to find a place to rest your legs; but Do come if you wanna experience having drinks in the middle of the street cuz that’s how crowded it gets. Well, I would quote Zürich’s motto here: Love it or leave ;)

Great located bar. Various of cocktails. Great coffee. Nice snacks. Located near Paradeplatz/Talacker. Always very busy, not sure youll find a place to seat, but it worth the while

This time we went in the evening, when it is more like a bar. It was also very nice, but it can be overcrowded.

I visited La Stanza just to have a coffee after lunch. I wanted a cappuccino with Oat milk but they didn’t have Oat milk, nor Almond milk nor any other kind of vegan milk which in 2022 is kind of unacceptable. In the end I had an espresso and it was good but a bit pricey.The shop looks old and customer service is not too friendly from my experience.

Quite overrated especially with respect to quality of service. However in the summer it has a nice outside area and of course it is located in one of the most central city locations. One thing that will never disappoint here is the coffee!

Unfortunately, the only thing this place has going for it is the location.Staff have been unfriendly several times, basic orders have been mixed up.The few food options they have are poorer quality than at supermarkets and there are no milk alternatives.Even the starbucks down the road is a better bet.

It feels kind of like the extension of my living room. Especially the amazing signature champagne and the freshly roasted highlands coffee are often making my days. When I need a rehab, Shamira, Anina and Sara always have the sparkling 0,5 liter Appenzell mineral water on ice with some lemon zest 🍋 at hands. Priceless…! Thank you guys.

A real gem of an espresso bar: charming, quick and the paninis are delicious as well. Sadly no process for checking covid certificates, they forgot to ask for mine and didnt see them asking anyone around me either (although they said they would.)

Beautiful cappuccino for 5CHF, for some reason cant be found on the menu. Drinks look nice but I didnt try any.

Probably the best Italian coffee in zurich. Excellent selection of gipfeli which are more like italian brioche style! Dog friendly outside and inside!

It has been my favorite cafe in Zürich for many years. I am there every week - at least once. Beautiful energy, very friendly staff and of course their coffee which is super nice. Would be nice to have a different milk option but anyway - it is cool.

La Stanza was a bar of a perfect combination with a classic espresso, good cocktails and very polite well-prepared bartenders and waitresses. Unfortunately, this team is gone...

An institution in Zurich, the place is always busy and they have a good coffee. Perfect for summer as they have a nice outdoor terrasse.

Coffee is a great quality. Very friendly & professional costumer bar tenders. But variety of cookies & patestries snacks are very limited & always not available. Coffee martini highly recommended 🥂😉

Probably the best coffee in Zurich as far as quality goes. The place itself is also absolutely beautiful - very much a Italian Style Bar with great coffee and drinks. However, it is very popular for good reasons and therefore always super busy. So its difficult to snatch a seat! When its quiet its three times as nice though and you can enjoy the best cup of coffee.

Fantastic coffee, friendly Italian authentic service. Can get very crowded and a bit annoying with people passing by the bar. Very limited seating options but worth it. Nice to grab an early Saturday drink / apero here.

Great place in a good location, the crowd is ~35 and older which we really appreciate. Good for a morning coffee as well as alcoholic beverages after dinner. It can get very crowded though and seating is limited. Some of the bartenders are really fun and friendly.

Great little coffee place that turns into a bar in the evening with great cocktails. Some of the best espresso in town but top tip double up if you have a cappuccino. Always busy so sometimes a standing coffee at the bar Italian style is the order of the day.

Friendly service, reasonably priced beer (for Zurich), the WiFi didnt work but they did try to get it working by resetting it.
