Wonderful food, great atmosphere and extremely attentive staff. The ravioli was amazing! I ended up eating there multiple times on my 1 week trip in Malta. I even enjoyed the music they played. Definitely suggest!

The best meal Ive had during my stay in Valetta, professional staff, great service even better food. Fresh swordfish that was recommended by the manager was absolutely delicious, and it was the only place that Ive visited that offered a little snack for waiting which concisded of freshly baked bread.

A tourist pleaser. We just came for a main meal late in the evening. ‘Linguine with tiger prawns’ (€23only had 2 prawns in, and about 15 mussels, 10 of which were closed and I had to put aside. The sauce had been described as a tomato sauce, but was more of a brown bisque-style sauce, and overall the dish wasn’t brilliant. However, the rack of veal (€28my partner ordered was excellent, and came with a deliciously smooth garlic mash, roast peppers and roasted new potatoes, and a meaty jus.The vibe was relaxed, with live music audible from nearby bars. Staff were friendly, but not all were clear on the menu, though the menu changes daily I believe.

Amazing food! We ate yesterday and now we are coming back!We had tiger prawns, fish of the day, local wine and even some aperol spritzer, everything was perfect.The location is great and the staff also very attentive.

Came here for my birthday dinner and booked a reservation earlier that day.Located in a the center of Valletta, great location. Nice atmosphere.The dinner menu was quite small. Was not to impressed with the choices. The prices are on the high side.Enjoyed the calamari for appetizer and then had the prawn pasta for dinner. The calamari could have been a meal on its own. Everyone enjoyed their meals.We also enjoyed some desserts between us on the table.Overall a nice experience.

Beautiful atmosphere food and great service. We had the squid ink arancini and it’s honestly the best starter I’ve ever eaten! Prawn linguine was indulgent and delicious. Staff very friendly. Highly recommend.

I think this place earns much more stars than the current average. We only had a light lunch here, but I can say the waiters were extremely nice, the food was prepared quickly and it tasted very good.

Fantastic meal, best we had in Valletta. Unsure why this place has only a 4.1 on google. Good pricing, amazing seafood, bread tastes fresh, large portions. Food all tasted fresh, good selections of food, wine, etc. Wish tonight wasn’t our last night!

Terrible service from unfriendly owner who yelled obscenities （f words and go back to Chinaat us, after repeatedly saying we were wasting his time, even though we already ordered fish and oysters. First he told us we only had one hour, then didn’t come by when we wanted to add drinks and steak. Then he told us if we don’t finish ordering in 5 minutes he’ll take away our menu and we had to leave! Is it because we are four Chinese looking ladies (though we live in three different countries in the US and Europe)? Would NOT recommend this place. Afterwards we read many reviews on how rude the service was. We were told by another restaurant to go there but disappointment was an understatement.

It is NOT a friendly place. The service is bad and we were badly treated and served. The person who served us was very rude to the point we wanted talk to the manager or owner, and it turned out that he is the owner. Wont recommend this place to anyone!

Discrimination in the heart of Valletta. 2 times lied to us that they are not open. 2 times waiter gave us the table and 2 times after that the guy called himself “boss” rudely said us to leave cause “kitchen isn’t working”. It could be because we are Russian speakers, but actually we are from Ukraine. That guy even didn’t ask us about where we are from. Cowardly came up with excuses, instead of a direct explanation of the reason. Worst service ever. Nazzi service.

NaZZis place. The restaurant was open, people were eating and the waiter girl gave us the table. But, the “boss” said us to leave cause “they are close”. Actually they were not. He said “we’ll be ready in 1 hour” so we kept walking and after 1 hour and half came back. Again - waiter gave us the table and after the “boss” noticed that - said to us again, that “they are closed”. The reason was - we are russian speakers, but we are not russians, we are ukranians and moldavians who speaks russian and living in European country for a long time. It’s so unacceptable to have this kind of discrimination here, on Malta. The guy(“boss”even didn’t ask us where we are from. Instead of honest from his side we heard only stupid kids lies about “the kitchen is closed, the restaurant is closed”.

Absolutely will not recommend! Service was horrible, the waiter was extremely rude and sounded impatient, I have not experienced this in my life ever!

Amazing food and service.The servings are generous, and the rabbit is must-try if you are touristing in Valletta.Crème caramel was à treat as well, will gladly go back to have it again.

Real nice spot. Nice atmosphere. Menu great. At dinner Tuesday evening our server was on minimum service. Not asking, if something is missing, no more proposal for drinks, or water and no proposal of desserts or café.

What a great restaurant, the fish was incredibly fresh, Staff were fantastic and friendly they really looked after us and made it a perfect dining experience, one surprise was how tasty the accompanying mash was!

A chance find of this wonderful restaurant. We were given a table and feasted. Rabbit tried for the first time and it was perfect. Particularly good was the Creme Caramel and the lemon dessert Only downside was the staff were slightly less attentive compared to regular customers but understandable to some degree. If the service was comparable it would have been 5 stars

Haven’t had fish/seafood on this level in a long time. The freshness, seasoning and display were unmatched.A little pricey but every dime is worth it.

Wonderful place for dinner and excellent service, foods are fresh and unique like a melted octopus, lobster single or with pasta, calamari, and the lovely the traditional sweet. The restaurant in the historical Center of Valletta. Hope came back again 🤗

I think we just did not order the right things. The arancini was very dry, the pasta sauce was very sweet, and everything else was more or less tasteless.The waitress asked us, at least 6 times, if we wanted wine (no thank you, no wine!).Maybe she just really wanted to sell a bottle of wine!!There was a family near us who allowed their dogs to eat ON the table AND eat from the restaurant forks, which is very off-putting! And dirty and illegal!There are plenty of really good Italian and Sicilian restaurants in Malta, a lot better priced than Sfoglia, where everything is tasty and where dogs are not allowed in, never mind ON the table.I would not recommend this place.

Very nice and fresh food, Ive had better pasta but a good effort. I think they focus more on fresh fish. Fish soup was outrageously good and the staff are extremely attentive to you. What I like is that theyll make anything for you, if they have it, theyll make it. No fixed menu as such and I quite like that! Id go back for sure.

The fish& shellfish soup was extraordinary. Rich, hot, the fish and shellfish was fresh, just what you need for a cold day in Malta. Highly recommend the place.

In a group of 14 we ordered fresh fish and got told each 25€ but got charged 22% more per person on the bill. The staff was unwilling to to discuss. Not recommended.

Lovely place, great food, great wine, great staff and service. No regret love when you’re wandering around Valletta. Fresh seafood and pork schnitzel are a must-try.

Absolutely the best fresh fish we have EVER had, we were in Valletta for 7 nights and ate here for 3 nights, and should have just done all 7! The staff were amazing, the food was amazing, my Husbands allergies were catered for no issue, we loved every minute. Cannot recommend enough, please visit here when coming to Valletta!

I have chosen this restaurant as it seems to be one of the best fish restaurants in Valletta! Well the fish was good indeed incredible starter: oysters, red prawns and sea razor clam! Prawns and sea razor were perfectly cooked in a slightly butter sauce!!! The fish fillet was juicy with a garlic sauce …. not to my preference as the garlic was too strong! My husband had pork schnitzel which it sounded great but it came out with a melted cheese….. it might be a Maltese dish but not the best combination!!!

Ate here last night with friends. Dont come here if you are mean of pocket because the prices, although not high, are more than many places close by. However, the food was absolutely bloody lovely!!! I had Chicken Roulade which was sensational! Others had fresh tuna and sea bass, again, all well received. Good service complimented the experience. Treat yourself, pull up a chair, watch the world go by and enjoy some lovely, fresh food!

Perfect place for a dinner in the party with your friends or family.Good choice of the food, both local Maltese, and European/ international.Prices - good, even in this very city center location.Be aware :- if you will order traditional Maltese Rabbit, they will bring you almost the whole rabbit :)the portions are very big!!

We had a late dinner here and the food was delicious! Italian style in Malta! Very good, very tasty! The missing star is because of the little toilet downstairs.

Really tasty food, based on simple mediterrean cuisine variations. I had a sandwich with tuna paste spiced with regional herbs and spices. Everything was great... 😃 the reason for a star less than five is waiting time. Waiting time to order, to get food and to get a bill is too long for 3 waiters who were circling around...

Staff are not friendly, and I had the worst oysters I had ever have. First, they look not good, don’t look like they come with their shells (the shells are totally over-oversized ). Second, those oysters are all broken, you can see they are messy. Third, they tastes only metallic. Forth, there are no ice, only water, and oysters dropped into the dish of water >~<

We had a wonderful dinner here. The manager took very good care of us and prepared the meal himself for us all because we were staying above his restaurant for the week. We had Lobster prepared in a pasta dish (he knew I wanted lobster but they only had 1 small lobster left so he went above and beyond and prepared it with pasta especially for us. We asked him for the Sea bass which he advised is a serving for 2, he cooked it by completely covering with salt and baking and then removing the salt after. It was incredible. We were so full afterward. I wish Malta wasn’t so far for us or we’d be eating here every week.

If you’re in Malta and are looking for authentic Maltese cookie with fresh seafood look no further.This restaurant has amazing food all beautifully prepared for a perfect dinner while in Valletta.The atmosphere is amazing as there is a covered patio to keep you warm on windy days.

As allways, great service and fantastic food! Got a seafood platter, its not on the meny, but if you ask for it, you will get it! Its the best thing you can get on this resturant, pictures too prove it.

La Sfoglia have outdoor seats with small stoves. The rabbit and sea buses are amazing. The taste of tomatoes are special.
