La Scala - Restaurant in Agadir, Morocco
Im back after 3 years or so on business. Previous time great experience. This time I had grilled fish - bar-not so fresh; smoke and noise in the room. I will not go back
Super
Went to the hospital both me and my girlfriend the day after, food poisoning. It was the only time we had a lunch 2 days ago and it was better if we didn’t.Coffe is very good.
The ambiance is terrific, the staff is very welcoming. My server, Ikram hypnotic, million dollar smile can make me chew the napkin if she commanded. The appetizer Dakhla octopus, I was upset it was over. I could have eaten this all night. The hostess suggested the paella scala which reminded me of my own mothers home cooking. It has soul. The fresh bread and cold mezza brought it on home. No room for dessert though. Ill be returning for more.
lots and lots of really good food! warm bread to start which was delicious, starters are enormous so come on an empty stomach. service was excellent a must visit if in the agadir area!
Definitely worth a visit if in the area. Food is very good, staff are friendly and helpful. Portions are big, so come hungry! Very good- will be back!
False hours we made a reservation for Monday confirmed with the restaurant and showed up to a closed restaurant….
Nice place, honest food and price.
Great food, lovely location, fantastic furniture, exceptional service ( only few spoke English but its ok . I am not giving 5 stars because the music at night is way too loud...
We loved this restaurant! The quality is just fantastic!! We had fish platter which was out of this world and the tiramasu! The wine list if great too. All dishes were delicious and the service was outstanding. The restaurant also collect and bring you back to the hotel. Fantastic. We cannot wait to return!
Only giving 4 stars as it doesnt have many vegetarian or vegan friendly options to choose from, other than that there is great service, staff are super friendly and welcoming and food that we did have was top class. Very nice place, for meat and fish eaters Im sure the food is incredible!
Nice place, not the cheapest one but everything was tasty and well.Example prices 180 for paella, total 450 for langust from picture (450g)
Food takes forever to order and come. Paella tasted bitter
Disappointed in this dining experience. Considering the good reviews of LaScala, myself and my girlfriend had high expectations of this restaurant. From the start, the waiter seemed disinterested and this continued for the entirety of the night - illustrated in the fact he missed our order for a starter as well as our request for additional sides with our mainsRestaurant is considerably more expensive than even some up-market European restaurants, charging €4 for an espresso. While the prices were higher than European restaurants, the standards fell way below.I recommend looking elsewhere in Agadir for a dinner.
Very disappointing experience. I took my parents for what was supposed to be a lovely night out but seems like the restaurant staff went out of their way to ruin it. We were completely ignored by the waiters( especially one was very dismissive. I had to call the restaurant by phonewhile being seated there for someone to come and serve us . Eventually someone was sent after 10mins. Ill spare you the details how we waited for every course to come and get the attention of any waiter. I had to stand up go to a waiter and ask for napkins and serving spoons while our food was sitting in the table. He did not even bother to apologize and asked me rudely in moroccan to sit down and wait. Cant comment on food as I lost my appetite with that fiasco happening. I wanted to leave right away but my parents were tired and hungry . Very unfortunate and disappointing experience. Would rather have a fast food take out any day .
Best restaurant in Agadir in terms of taste and quantity and seating
Excellent sea food!! Lovely staff. Worth the slightly higher prices
Great restaurant in Agadir, calm place.
The place was very clean, the staff and owner were very friendly and polite. The food was fantastic. I will definitely come back here with friends and family.
Food is good, but super expensive! Very slow service
One of the best restsurants in Agadir, If not in Morocco. Great food, great service, a place you will never regret to have visited.
I have just tried this place in Agadir. It’s quite expensive for local prices so expectations were set high. The food was delicious and gets full recommendations. Unfortunately the service is very slow once the restaurant got full. We have waited for almost one hour for the beverages menu at the end of our meal but the waiters never brought it to us at all. We asked for it 5 times.Great Food at very high prices with super slow service. Think twice before going here.
Wow, Green peppers can be cooked soft in this way! I ate Filet steak with green peppers. Amazing! Delicious!
Service was terrible. The one waiter and waitresses would walk by and try not to make eye contact. It took about 20min to just order drinks.
Lovely atmosphere! Service was good although it was a bit slow. Food was surprisingly good (we were not expecting good food in Agadir to be honest...), big portion!
We went here last night after it was recommended to us as; ‘the best fish restaurant in Agadir’. I’m originally from Agadir and come back every summer with my English wife to have a wonderful holiday and we decided to try this place out. It was very busy, which was great to see, just such a shame the manager was dripping in sweat and constantly wiping his face with a tissue. We sat outside and a lovely girl came to lay a table cloth for us but that that was all the service we received for 20 or so minutes so we walked out. We walked past the sweaty manager and he just ignored us so I spoke with him and explained why we were leaving and he just smiled, said sorry and said; ‘we’re just so busy.’There are many different places to eat in Agadir with varying quality and prices but this place is expensive for Agadir (UK pricesand looks expensive from the street. We expected a lot more and it’s sad as we’ll never try it again.
Great little spot. Lovely decor and welcoming and romantic environment. Amazing house red wine. The steak was very well cooked and seasoned. The fish was fresh and you can pick out your fresh lobster. I recommend the beef slice as it was very flavourful. 4 stars as the restaurant is very overpriced and the service is slow. Waited for extra glasses and more drinks for a very long time, we had to remind the waiters to bring sauces and drinks we ordered. However, all in all a great and very tasty night out.
Nice clean and fresh food I would recommend this placeFriendly staff clean restaurant, really nice presentation
Lovely ambience,great food
Great food, would highly recommend the steak. Lovely decor however the service was very poor and slow. Multiple things from our order was forgotten and we had to remind staff several times before it arrived.
Great food! Probably one of the best restaurants in Agadir. But service could have been better.
Took too long to serve and also the steak was so hard to chew on
With the great reviews given previously, I was highly disappointed. It literally took two hours to get our food and when it arrived, it was cold. They had a temporary power outage and the light above our table kept going out every 2-3 min.
The best restaurant I have EVER been to. And I live in London, how sad. From the atmosphere, to the customer service and the food! Just amazing. A holiday I will never forget. Their desserts were the best I have ever tasted ( the profiteroles). Omar was extremely attentive and SO friendly! He made our experience beyond words. Thank you. They were all so friendly & patient and the ambience was peaceful & serene with nice music. Perfect for a date night. Thank you to EVERYONE in La Scala, I would go Morocco just for this.
Nice food and good service but on the more expensive side
The service was awful. They didnt bring the complimentary food for our table. It took very long to take our order, they didnt take our drink order. It took very long time to bring each course of our meal. from the moment we arrive till we leave it took them more than 4 hours. They brought wrong food for me (mased potato insead of friesand when complained they said we wil bring me portion of fries which never arrived. We asked the manager he said we dont do fries at all which was on their menue. He said he will ask and he never return. It is not worth the price.
Very good food. Service was a little bit slow as the restaurant was crowded. But went back a second time on a trip to Agadir and were very disappointed. Will definitely not go back. The food was not good , the service was bad. Too expensive for what it is. Has deteriorated over time.
The best sea food restaurant in agadir I enjoyed the grilled sea bass fillet and the mouth water apple tart is tasty delicious, atmosphere is amazing with live music and exceptional quality food and customer service
Im so sad that we saved this restaurant for the last day of our visit to Agadir. This is by far the best dinner to have in Agadir. The staff is just wonderful and give just enough attention to detail. The products are 100% fresh and Id certainly try the chefs recommendations because theres no better! If I ever visit Agadir again, Im sure will visit this restaurant every single night!
Two of us went there for a nice evening meal. Setting outside was lovely, and several cute kittens played at or feet, although not sure how hygienic it is for a restaurant to have them running around!Had the prawn salad to start which was OK, but the main courses were really good - monkish and fillet steak. Heavy portions and rich food.Relatively expensive, but staff were very friendly and professional.
Worst place ever the prices are extremly expensive and theyre out of half the menu.. very bad experience
Fantastic food with great service! (And very reasonable prices for the quality of the food and overall experience)
Very tasty fush there, try it!
Great food and service.Their lunch offers are great value.
The top of the top delicious sea food and great service
Inside you could easily mistake this restaurant for a nightclub, and it is a real shame they allow people to smoke indoors. They have outdoor heaters - why cant smokers sit outside???It is very pricey for Morocco, but not in comparison to eating out in the UK, and the food is very good. I highly recommend the pan fried prawns; theyre huge, juicy and sooooo delicious. My friend recommends the salt-baked sea bass.
My favourite out of the restaurants we tried. Complimentary olives and aubergine dip with bread at the start were lovely. Calamari was thin, crispy and fresh. Steak was cooked rare and a good meaty cut. Monkfish was delicious. The manager/owner of the restaurant interacts with guests throughout the evening and service was fantastic. Definitely one not to miss if youre in the area! Option of indoor or outdoor eating area and live piano music played from inside. Prices were cheap and as tips are optional remember to bring cash.
Manifique! High quality, Very good fresh fish, not a typicical Tourist Business and the staff is amazing.
Excellent food, very good value price quallity. Thanks to Rachid
We have eaten 8 people in this restaurant, and we can say the we spent a great night. Food it was nice and the service not bad at all. We will be back anytime we come back to Agadir
