La Pradera in San Juan

Does not get more local and delicious than this, woooow service is 10/10, food 10/10, best breakfast, their toast omg amazing, to say that during our vacation we came 4 times, and what was amazing is that they remember our orders every time. They know every customer that walks in, from locals to visitors. A must!

Oh my gosh the seafood mufongo was literally THE MOST amazing thing I’ve ever eaten. You have got to try it. Mind blowing!! The tamarindo juice was delcious! Our server Alejandro was the best! Great experience!

This is a nice little place for local and tourist the prices is great for both islanders and tourists. It’s a very busy restaurant one server but he moves fast and great. The food smells delicious and the taste is on point. Simple but perfect will remind you of your mothers cooking. There service is fast like the speed of New York but with the love of the enchantment

This is the absolute best best best place to eat!!! The mofongo and the sauce were so good!!!! 🔥 10 out of 10 I had to go back again before I left and it was still absolutely amazing!!! These guys are busy and work hard they get the order in on time and food comes out hot and tastey!!!

If you’re in this area🤔 this local dive was Deliciooosooogood! I had the mofungo with beef and it was very good! We went because a local recommended it. I/we were very satisfied with our food and the service. I only gave it 4*’s bc there is always room for improvement!

Delicious breakfast! The cafe con leche was the best I’ve had in Puerto Rico. Highly recommend if you want a good breakfast and kind service.

Wow amazing “friday specials” I got the lechón and my other half got carne mechada and IT WAS DELICIOUS !!!! I would give it a 10 out of 5 lol that’s how good it was, great service and fast too!

We ate mofongo many places. This place had the best mofongo we had other than raizes. Definitely worth checking out. The staff was super friendly. It has a small hole in the wall vive. Would recommend. The espresso was also amazing. I cannot stress enough: this place is worth your time.

My girlfriend and I visited San Juan for the Valentine weekend. La Pradera was impeccable. The prices are very affordable, and the food is fantastic. My girlfriend and I had the Fried Pork Chops and Crab Salad respectively. For beverages, we had passion fruit juice, guava juice, and a standard margarita. The juices were so fresh. We loved it. One thing of note is that crab salad had an abundance of crab. In the mainland US, it’s not unusual for places to give you a tiny amount of crab. This was not the case here. My girlfriend said she really could’ve used more lettuce because she assumed there would be less crab. This is definitely a place to come back to.

I decided to try this place as I am now living in the Miramar area and have tried just about all the places in the area. I waited in the front for about ten mins and then a waitresss came out and asked me what did I want. I told her I wanted to order somehting to eat, she pointed at the menus written on a piece of paper outside and told me to order. She didnt even ask me if I wanted to sit and eat inside. I proceeded to look a the menus and literally ten seconds later she asked what do you want to order. I said can you please be courteous and give me 30 seconds. At that moment a miserable man who looked to be the owner gave me a dirty look and then proceeded to ask me what do you want...bizarre, maybe he was in a bad mood and wanted to take it out on me or maybe he is plain miserable.At this point I decided to leave as for no reason I obviously was not wanted there, before I left I did tell him he was rude and told him I would spend my money somewhere else, many people witnessed this and commented that he was rude and miserable, they could not believe he had treated me this way. Do not visit this place, spend you money where you are valued and treated like a paying customer, this guy is miserabe with no class whatsoever, loser!!!!

Fast Service!Incredibly quick!Deliciously strong Cafe con leche! Delicious Tortilla Western Omelette con queso.I believe the Queso is the mild NY style cheddar I grew up calling American Cheese. I continue to believe it’s slightly lower sodium than Wisconsin Cheddar 😉The strong coffee has a small taste of roasting some people call bitter. Those will not like it. They probably wouldn’t even like it poured over ice cream. More for me. I call it excelente!

Great food, coffee, and service at a very reasonable price. Bring your Spanish as from my one experience the staff and patrons speak very little English. Recommended!

If you venture over to this part of San Juan, Miramar offers a diversity of restaurants. The best authentic Puerto Rican eatery is La Pradera. Excellent food, great prices, friendly service and location. If you drive, park at La Hacienda. Walk through and out to the street. Make a left 40 feet on the same side of the street. Enjoy!

Coffee!!, the coffee here is great and full of flavor. Food is of great quality and trust me...its very affordable. I think that this is a hidden gem and people should really check it out. Staff is very friendly and helpful. It could get busy at time but it is really worth the wait.

It might not seems very attractive from outside, but it came out to be a great finding. Cheap prices and really good food. Nice portion size as well. They have a large variety of Puerto Rican food. I’ve tried the Stuffed avocado with codfish (bacalaoand it was really tasty! Service was a little weird at first, but they were attentive and helpful. Will definitely come back!

Amazing mofongo, best Ive had since I moved here. Unassuming from the outside, and gives off a "hometown local" vibe. Nice and friendly staff. Highly recommend for lunch.

Had a delicious breakfast! My husband raved about the coffee had to cups! Our water Alejandro was friendly and on point! The bread was fresh ,toasted and buttery, yummy!! The prices were great very affordable! My husband had an omelette, I had eggs fried cheese salami, and mashed plantains! It was so good!!!!

Very local feel. Had a bowl of seafood in a tomato-based broth over fried plantains and it was so very good.

Absolutely an exquisite puertorrican restaurant in Miramar. I had the churrasco and my husband had the seafood mofongo. Needless to say, we were impressed by the flavor. The server, Alejandro, is the best in service. Im coming to Puerto Rico in 2 months just so I can stop by again.

Neighborhood Deli, nothing fancy but service is consistent and quality is just right for a morning pick-up. Dont forget to ask for their fresh juices.

La Pradera is just simply amazing !! I go there for breakfast as many time as I can. Coffee, Farina, jamon queso y huevo con ensalada 🤣🤣my favorites !!! Siempre fresco y Rico !! The staff is very attentive and very kind, the prices are just right !!👍👍

Great place for local food at excellent prices. A must for breakfast or luch. Try to go early because it gets crowded. Try the ropa vieja for luch.

Great Puerto Rican home style food in a cafeteria setting.Sit at the bar or get a table. Their fresh fruit smoothies are really good and so are their breakfast options. Some of their staff has been there since the beginning and you really get the neighborhood restaurant vibe with the nice comfort food!

Great food, reasonable prices and very nice staff. Breakfast not served after 11 a.m., but a little sweet talk at 11:15 got us served from the breakfast menu.

Love this place. Its clean and has great food. We came on a weekday looking for Mangú and were told Saturdays they serve Dominican breakfasts so we ate there twice and were happy both times! Air conditioned for those muggy days and in a nice open location. Will come back on next vacation!

Great food and great service. The restaurant serves great breakfast, lunch and dinner. Coffee is freshly brewed when ordered. And service is quick and friendly. Restaurant is easy to find and parking around the area is available.

Big portions, all the food was excellent, the veal parmesan and the pastelón were great. The congrí rice was also the best. Great prices. The place itself can get crowded during lunch and is a little uncomfortable, bit overall is definitely a must go.
