La Potoroca in Ponce

Hace un año había venido y fue totalmente diferente. El sabor y hasta como servían la comida daba gusto ir. Hoy volví y puedo entender que los precios cambian pero no tan drástico, el sabor diferente como sirven los platos cambio totalmente y menos comida y el precio más alto. NO LO RECOMIENDO!

Outstanding eatery with excellent customer service and food to match! Our party was able to try a few different dishes. The Tres Leaches French Toast was just wonderful. Just sweet enough to not need syrup, larger due to the infused tres leches in the bread.Our server was pleasant and very attentive. I would highly recommend this gem during your visit to Ponce.

Delightful and authentic flavors. Simple and elegant with a very friendly staff. The food here surpasses what we ate in San Juan. The best Mofongo so far, well flavored vegetables. The fish and chicken were excellent as well.

Best place to eat some good food! Not only will you eat some good food but Pedro will have you laughing the whole time! Come in and ask for Pedro!

Great place and great service.

The server although new to the job was good. The waiter was attentive and sweet the whole time we were there and managed to take our orders right aways since the place wasnt packed with people and only two to three families were there. However, the waiting period was horrid. I couldnt believe how much time we spent there waiting for the food. If it werent because we were so hungry I wouldve just picked my things and left. My company and I waited a little bit more than and hour and half to all receive our food which was good and beautifully presented. But the waiting time was too much and got on my nerves at the end because the other family that came after us got their food and left BEFORE we even had our food served in the table. That was my horrid experience. Overall the place is nice, clean, decent and pretty. The service was good and the presentation was superb A+ on that part. The taste could be better, but it wasnt bad since, it is, after all my taste for food. For savor and friendly service I recommend this place, but if you dont mind waiting more than 1 hour and 30 minutes then go for it, if you do RUN.

Brian, our server, was great. The food? Super average. I ordered La Espanola,Brioche bread (sandwich bread, burnt topsandwich with spanish omelette, blank forest ham (Oscar Meyer ham, it was still folded the way you take it out of the packagemozzarella cheese and our very special sauce (which made the bread soggy). The vianda chips were from a potatoe chip bag... honestly, everything we ordered was not original made you can tell everything was front frozen food or cheap bought. Boyfriend ordered the pull pork sandwich, horrible, the meat looked dried and again, frozen. Being from Puerto Rico with so much pork around us, why do frozen? Ugh! Anyways, Brian was great I hope you have a better experience. We are never coming back for sure.

Me encantó el lugar, me atendieron súper bien, rápido y sabroso. Buena comida y buenos tragos. Justo debajo del hotel Bélgica, y abren temprano, así q si te estás quedando en el hotel puedes desayunar ahí. Lo recomiendo 100%.

Excelente servicio, súper rápido, limpio, el café súper rico y económico. Pedí un scrambled egg con tostadas y fue menos de $5 y echaron mucho. Súper recomendado

A great restaurant located conveniently in the hotel where we were staying. Good service and delicious options for both breakfast and dinner. People seemed confused about the fact that the main entrance is IN Hotel Belgica, but using the back entrance from the street works too. The food is delicious and interesting. Whatever you order, itll be good and very reasonably priced. Add a boozy frappe for an added bonus.

If you’re looking for great coffee, food and service please come here. It’s amazingly located near the Ponce Plaza. While we were staying here we came to this family owned restaurant every day whether was for breakfast, lunch or drinks in the evening.

The food here is SO GOOD. Amazing place to try some Puerto Rican food. We got spiced cafe, queso Frito, plantain sliders, and Las montaditas. The chef cooked everything to order, and the service was great. Would come back to Ponce just to eat there again.

Qué no has visitado La Potoroca? Te va encantar!!!😋Estamos un poco decepcionadas. Mi hija no pudo redimir un gustazo porque cada vez que íbamos estaba cerrado. Y era en un horario que se supone estaba abierto ☹️☹️
