One of the best pizza! The pizza dough was absolutely exclusive! Truly perfect!

Highly recommended. Their pizza was one of the best I tried anywhere worldwide, and believe me I tried many pizzas in many places. Their dough is very impressive; it is light (not oily/heavy), thin, but strong and it is not dry - put simply the dough is perfect. Everything else in the restaurant, from the service to the cleanliness to the quality and combination of ingredients was excellent, but again it is the dough that is the hero here. And regarding sizes - I barely managed to finish my pizza, which is quite the feat since I am not exactly a small person. Overall, a brilliant place, will definitely visit again. Pozdrav!

This is the standard size 🙂. I recommend La Pizzeria. It is in the very center of Maribor, in the pedestrian zone. The waiters were very kind, they explained to us in advance what size their standard pizza was. The prices are quite correct. by the way, the restaurant consists of several levels and a huge space, and in addition to the pizzeria, there is also a burger section and a wine shop.

The employees were friendly.The pizzas were very large and more importantly it tasted very good.

We ate here twice during our stay in Maribor. Nice service along with delicious food. The salad we enjoyed was made without the peanuts (upon request). The thin crust pizzas are huge and tasted great. Definitely recommended.

Awesome pizza, arrogant staff. They only sell one size pizza that is really big (for 2-3 people), so it doesnt make sense to eat here solo.

The pizza is good but too thin for my taste

My first experience eating pizza with scissors. I would recommend this establishment for family gatherings and dates, because there is also a steakhouse nearby. Their pizza is light and extremely tasty. The service is very fast and the staff is very polite and helpful. If you order a bottle of wine it will be served in original pomodoro can with ice which is a nice rustic touch that goes with overall vibe of the place. Bring your significant other to share a pizza because they are made for sharing. The parking is unfortunately a few minutes away and it isnt free of charge. However the experience here is above the level of some major cities in Europe and surprisingly affordable.

Pizza has Got a diameter 45 cm. Really big pizza. The place IS Nice. Pizza cut with scissors. Its really cheap.Go into this restaurant.

Local has its style. Waiters are kind and whats most important, pizza was really great and tasty ... and big. Both adults and children were happy not leaving even a piece. Additionally great white wine. I recommend!

Quite nice food but service is amazingly awful! Even with the fact that we tried to attended this place three times we’ve got the same experience: staff is very unfriendly at least to the foreigners. It’s so sad that with the nice food you are getting also stress because of communication with the waiters...

We shared one pizza with half/half toppings. It was the right amount between two, and super tasty! The dough was nice and thin and they provided scissors to cut it. Friendly waitstaff and nice atmosphere. Recommend trying this place out!

La Pizzeria has the best pizza in Maribor Dont forget to make reservation, cuz it can get really crowded (especially for the weekend)... And also, pizzas are big, so you should maybe think about splitting at half Pizza and two cocktails = around 20 eur

Cheap and gigantic pizza. Service is great and pizza delicious. It is so big I couldnt even finish it. Big pizza + 1/2l beer = 11€!It is a highly recommendable place but make sure you go with someone else. I was starving and Im a big person but this was too much.

Superb Pizza. First and only place I have been to which provides a scissor to cut the pizza. Liked the concept. Very practical. The pizza was just awesome, the dough was fresh and the pizza was served very fast. The Schweiger beer was served at the right temperature! Highly recommend.

Great thin large pizza that you cut with scissors. Ideal for couples, so you order one pizza for two. Prices above average, but if 2 people eat one pizza, prices are quite affordable.Special pizza ingredients and very good olive oil. Some other dishes like pasta and salads, too.Cosy atmosphere, very popular with foreign students.Steak house and classy restaurant in the same house.

Here they make the only pizza I ever crave for. Crusty border, not too salty, so you can taste richness of all the flavors. Many fresh ingredients. Especially fresh mushrooms are hard to find on pizza in Slovenia, here they have them. And mozzarella! Pizza is simply great and fresh. Also pasta and salads are great. Service is also good, and waiters are nice. Toilets neat. Love this place!

I ate vegan pizza which is really nice that they have it in their offer. It was ok. But I dislike the size of it. When I wanted smaller they said thats the only sice they have. And also when I wanted to take the rest of it home they gave me an alluminium foil roll - the waitress practically threw it on my table with an attitude: wrap it yourself 😜

Very good piza. If you are very hungry take one for yourself ontherwise u can share. What is special for those pizzas (beside cutting them with scissors is that its a good tomato sauce and fresh ingridienst. Just be aware they are closed on Sunday unfortunately.

Pizza may look big, but is very thin. The taste was good and the scissors are very useful.

Very good italian pizzas. The pizzas are super super big so I couldnt eat all of it by myself but this is not a problem as you can take whats left to go. The only problem to say something is that the tables are not that big if all of you eat a pizza and I think thats important if you serve pizzas that big.

Excellent and attentive service. Awesome pizzas so huge they give you scissors to cut them. Vegan friendly - vegan cheeze is offered. I also had the best salad dish I ever ordered in a restaurant here - grilled portobellos, sesame and greens, yum! Dont miss this gem if you find yourself in central Maribor.

Scissors&pizzaName of the place doesnt leave any doubts on what the place is all about. And yes their piza are great in taste and ultra thin Italian style and you wont be dissapointed by any of the many varieties of pizzas. But be prepaired to use scissors instead of knife c- and this turn out to be also fun for the kids. Because place is so popular and in great location, making reservation isnt such a bad idea.

best vegan pizza in Maribor! definitely a must try. the staff can be a bit stressed and overwhelmed at times but still stays friendly. good selection of drinks as well. very reasonable price for the huge pizzas, two people can easily share one.

had a great veal steak in breadcrumbs. They alao have a big selection of various foods like burgers, steaks and also seafood. The interior is also pretty nice so I suggest just to drop by if youre near it.
