Artisan pizzas are the specialty in a snug, down-to-earth restaurant with a terrace & Italian food.
No stars would be fair. Awful service, always dissapointed by the pizza. Make an effort even if your take aways are dirt cheap. Make the effort !
Great pizza and price!!! Super great staff
Good pizza and friendly staff
This is more than just takeaway pizza. It has a chill Napolitano vibe and is hands down the best Italian pizza spot in Geneva, served with warm hospitality.
Best 10.- takeaway pizza in town! Just delicious. The staff is nice and if you want to dine in, the place is charming but the prices will be higher. Lovely quality products!!! More than recommended.
Very good pizzaCHF 10 to take away is a good option for Geneva
The staff is very friendly and welcome! Good quality and traditional italian pizza!
Amazing Italian pizza. Traditional italian restaurant with the most friendly service. I definitely suggest it!
I had been previously to this place during the second lockdown to get takeaway. Back then it took a good 40 minutes until we had our pie. This last time I visited we had our pizza ready to go in under 10 minutes. Staff was helpful and friendly.
They keep burning the pizza. I bought 5 last night and most of it was binned and we nibbled around it. Heres a pic of just one of them.It was so bad that we had to eat cheese and dried meat that we could salvage from our fridge. It kind of defeated the objective of getting takeaway.I live locally and over the last year its just been a disappointment. Last night was the last time we ever go back.
Best real Italian pizza restaurant managed by Italians in town.
Pizza is abit salty but nice and cute servers 👍
Stop reading this review and start ordering. As an Italian, this is one of the best Neapolitan pizzas I’ve had worldwide (outside of Naples of course). They are doing a public service with the takeaway service and keeping the neighbourhood fed during these hard times.Pignata is easily one of the highlights of Geneva alongside if not above the Jet D’eau.
Pretty tasty Italian food, it takes a bit of waiting but its worth it and its really cheap
Simply excellent Neapolitan pizza, and for takeaway they are all 10CHF which is a bargain. Friendly staff and quick service, cant recommend enough.
Consistent good quality food. Pizza and pasta are super tasty and good portion sizes. Definitely a fan.
Awful!!! If you wanna taste your main with the flavor of burnt oil, then welcome. And if you dare to enter with a stroller into empty restaurant, staff would show you what a massive inconvenience you are!
The margherita is comparable to the ones in Naples. Lasagne fantastic as well. Run by all-Italians you could hear yelling orders from the kitchen. Attentive enough and delicious.
Very, very disappointing. We were forced to buy two mains, even when I tried to explain I was sick and couldnt eat. The restaurant was half empty so we werent losing them any business. Staff had no empathy and were just after our money.Dont know where the friendly staff were that others have talked of, maybe it was their day off.Obviously they dont care about food wastage and the environment, the amount of food my husband could eat was disgusting.
Best pizza in Geneva! The Tony’s one is very good 👌
Fantastic food - I had a Peppino pizza which was amazing. Service was prompt and the waitress was very friendly.
Hey hi hello. This place...is phenomenal. Had the calzone and it blew my taste buds into outer space. The waiter was very knowledgeable and picked a wine for me that I really liked (idk anything about winetheir chilli oil is very spicy so be careful. I havent even finished my limoncello and tiramisu as I write this review because this place rocks my socks.
Delicious Italian pizza and super friendly staff. The wine was amazing and so was everything else. I will certainly be back the next time I am in Geneva!
Good pizza, friendly service, average price. They have good prices for takeout (pizza and pasta).
Best pizzas and very nice staff, that was some years ago, stagf still ok
Amazing pizzas with delicious crust and very good ingredients. In my opinion, these are the best pizzas in Geneva!
I ordered the Tony Special pizza, which got to me very quickly. It tasted incredible, but as I was eating the waiter kicked me out, saying its not possible to eat here. I thought it was just some rule they had, but as I was leaving I saw them serve two other guys in a dine-in dish.Food is great, service is... weird.
Ordered two pizzas to go, and they only took 25 mins to come out. The taste was incredible and worth the cheap price. I recommend this place for a good pizza!
They have great pizza and great pasta, the place might be crowded on the weekend so its better if you book a table.
We ordered pizzas to take away. The pizzas were not cooked enough and had way to much crust that was super doughey. I give the pizzas 3 out of 10. Friendly staff though.
One of the best pizza recently....and that is to say on the wasteland that is Geneva food scene. Cool service.
Very Disturbing Experience with abusvie owner who I feel needs anger management before he hurts someone. We are a quiet middle age couple that love Italian food so decided to try this highly rated restaurant. I am not sure what ones definition is of good pizza but what was presented before me was a crust with what appeared to be several cups of cream on top. The only way to consume this pizza was with a spoon as it was the consistency of soup.I sent it back with the waiter and by was very late and I did not want to re order another item. Within a few minutes our waiter re appeared with a very rude man. We sat their quietly in shock by his behavior. We let it go and my husband ate his lasagna which was ok, not authentic Italian, and we also ordered tiramisu for dessert. It was becoming quite smoky from the bar next door so I dismissed myself and started walking to the car while my husband stayed behind to pay the bill. I turned around to see the owner/chef outside once again with the waiter yelling at my husband and using the waiter as a translator as my husband spoke fluent french to him telling him that we should not have to pay for a pizza that was retuned because it was not edible and that he had been very rude to me.The owner finally retracted and returned inside to credit the bill but came back out for his 3rd attack of the evening. In the mean time I had had enough and walked back to the establishment seeing this owner yelling at my husband. I returned to the patio In tears And the waiter said you have done nothing wrong. My husband and I walked away from the yelling. Owner together and the owner FOLLOWED US DOWN THE SIDEWALK TOWARDS OUR CAR GRABBING MY HUSBANDS ARM! My husband said “don’t touch me”. I have had self defense training where I had learned to face your perpetrator and I knew this man had lossed Control and was crossing a line so I completely turned around and faced him and I said very sternly “Walk away now” he was literally grabbing my husband’s arm and I said a second time“ walk away now” he finally stopped. In French I told him I would call the police. He walked back to his establishment screaming all the way. This owner needs mandatory anger management and had this been in the US I would have called the police and filed a formal complaint. I would not trust eating his food after his display of loosing control.I wish I knew who I could report him to in France.I don’t want this to to happen to anyone else and I certainly don’t want anyone getting hurt by this very abusive owner of Pignata in Colmar France..Actual Rating: restaurant should be shut down until owner has been professionally treated by a mental health professional.
Absolutely excellent pizza! Perhaps the best I have ever had! The staff was super friendly and the location was good, especially sitting outside during summer time. The value for money was great, 28 Swiss franc for a pizza + 1 glass of wine (which was good too by the way). Very relaxed setting. Recommend this place!
Im Italian and very picky on food in general...yes this is an ok pizza for Italians and probably a great pizza for non Italian...if you want a pizza in Geneva go here
It could easily be the best italian pizza in Geneva and its also cheap compared to the others. The staff is polite and fun.Definitely recommended.
Pizza is a bit expensive for Geneva, but its also slightly better than other places. I probably wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here but it’s not bad.
Great pizza at a reasonable price (for Geneva). A bit crowded at times. Good value for money.
Pizza was delicious and the staff were very helpful in finding me my perfect pizza even though I couldnt read the menu.
Used to be great. Now the service is awful. Have to ask for everything, long wait for the food and completely unapologetic. Must be a classic case of owner operated vs. unhappy employees. Too bad.
Probably one of the best pizza in Geneva. The place is quite small, crowdy and noisy though but some might say it contributes to the napolitano flavour
Excellent and large napolitan pizza, good salad. Had to wait an hour before finally receiving the pizza!
Second to none real Italian pizza in Geneva. Just awesome place in the sense of price (10 CHF for pizza).
One of the best Italian restaurants I had ever visit in my life the food was delicious and the waitresses were so friendly ♥️👌🏻
Cheapest pizza in Geneva, just 10 CHF!! Good size. Adequate quality. Phenomenal value. VERY friendly staff. Yummy hot from the oven. Every pizza made to order. Theyll even do specials if you ask.
Great pizza, price and service! The real italian food on Geneve!
Best take out pizza in Geneva. A genuine Italian pizza made in a wood oven for CHF 10. Perfect.
Ive only had takeaway here. The pasta is just okay, but the pizzas are excellent and one of the best bargains Ive found in Geneva. Theyre made in a wood-fired oven and are always tasty. The wait can sometimes be long, but they do seem to try and work through orders quickly.
I believe this is restaurant is the making the most authentic (and good!Italian pizza! This opinion is shared across many other Italian friends. The place is welcoming, and with typical Italian style, they are able to make space for you even last minute.
You can sit down like a normal restaurant, but I prefer to take away pizza since they are only 10chf and pretty decent. Best price/quality in Geneva.
BEST pizzas in town!!! Try their awsome Specials pizzas!Pizza feinschmecker, warcheinlich die beste von Genf!Probablement la meilleure pizzeria de Geneve!! A tester absolument!
