Food was great - service was terrible.I am taking the time to write this because of how strongly I felt about the lack of service that happened on Friday, September 23. What should have been a great evening with fabulous food was spoiled by the inattentiveness and lack of service we received. Our server did not pay attention to us at all after he had written down our order - we had empty water glasses and empty wine glasses. We had ordered escargot, which was gorgeous in flavour and we wanted bread to sop up the garlic butter sauce, it took no less than 20 minutes of waiting, and asking 3 separate people to bring us bread. To our chagrin, the mains came, as they would, it had been 20 minutes, but we still had plates full of garlic butter sauce and no bread. We again then asked a server to please bring us bread. They never came back to bring bread. At this point, it was laughable what was happening. My husband had to actually get up to speak with someone because though there were servers and managers wandering around the restaurant, there was no proactivity in helping guests. Once we got the bread, the sauce went from piping hot to lukewarm, as it would over a 20-minute wait period and our mains were sitting there also getting cold. None of the servers had the foresight to help us change out our plates so that we could eat our mains, so we waited another 15 minutes (!!!My husband wanted to leave. I said no. The evening was long since ruined. The great food (which I stand bycannot solve or rectify the poor service. This would never happen at a place like Carbone, where they actually value service and their food is fantastic as well. LPM has a long way to go in training their staff, especially if it categorizes itself as a fine dining restaurant. I was surprised that when we finally spoke to a manager, they werent more mortified at what had happened. We definitely wont be coming back to LPM and I will make sure that none of our friends experience this ridiculousness either.

I arranged to meet two colleagues here last night for an early dinner. The restaurant was essentially empty. My companions were already at the table when I arrived. I was dressed in tailored linen shorts and a button down shirt. The weather outside was 32 degrees. It is Hong Kong in summer. I was denied entry on the basis that they do not allow shorts. Apparently this fashion goal is more important to them than the provision of hospitality to guests. I was offered the choice of wearing the pair of chinos that they keep behind the counter for this purpose (which tells you all you need to know about how often they must run into this problem of their own makingor sitting outside on the street in the heat beside a busy road. To make matters materially worse, the manager, Roman, could be the rudest person I have ever met in a position of seniority in a customer service industry. Once again, apparently the policy is more important than the customer. All three of us left. For a restaurant that describes itself as an extended family, the only conclusion must be that it is a very dysfunctional one.

2/5Yellowtail carpaccio dressing is refreshing, sashimi is fresh and nice, French toast is creamy soft spongy good with the ice cream. But, the fish is very salty, also the seasoning with chorizo is even more greasy when the fish is oil type already.Pork was rough, seasoning just okay.Pasta was tasteless, so disappointed.Table was too high for the sofa side seat as well.

Distasteful and incompetent customer service/reservations team; non-sensical time limit on weekend lunch reservation (90 mins? They realise this is not a regular joint?). Feels like they just want to churn and turn around tables rather than let people enjoy their meal. Nothing worse than offending a customer before they set foot in the door.

The restaurant is very nice, service is good.We try the set lunch which includes two appetizers and one main. The tuna carpaccio is so soft and tasty, the fried squid is so crispy and soft inside. And the corn/pomegranate salad is so fresh and light, yummy! We tried the pork which is medium well, very soft and juicy. And the bb chicken is best that I ever had, so juicy and tender, and the sauce is so rich , umami! The French toast is sth can’t be missed, very soft and creamy, with ice cream, what a sweet heaven!

Consistent fare, escargots and dessert are a must for me here. Only drawback is tight reservation times on busy days and they ask to return tables pretty on point.

Our regular go-to place. Simple dishes without fancy decoration, keeping the original flavor of the food using the simplest seasoning and herbs. Veggies and meat are their strength, I would highly recommend you to get their pork chop. Great vibe every day. Range of options available on the menu.Deducting points for: 1not changing the menu frequent enough. 2they really don’t do good pasta (they’re French after all). 3service is average (we know everyone now so we do get better service).

We stumbled upon this place because the place across the road was fully booked. Turns out it was a terrific pick. Although it was a busy weekday lunch time, the restaurant still had a table available. Everything we ordered was amazing and delicious, from the bread to the mixed salad to the potatoes au gratin to the chicken to the glazed duck. The service was excellent and all of the servers were so attentive and kind. I am so glad we came upon this restaurant by accident. It’s definitely a place we will be revisiting — can’t say that about most restaurants in HK... food was just that good.

They say the way to a persons heart is through their stomach😋. V Day is just around the corner. Guysss Be sure to book in for the romantic meals to impress your loved one 💕!!!!Just notice the social distancing rules extend til 17 Feb. This London-based French restaurant’s debut  definitely suits any lunch date vibe.Embark with fresh tomatoes and a gorgeous ball of fresh, creamy #burrata cheese just the taste of puppy love in a simple starter super refreshing. Dont forget first impression is very important at a date. Followed by the stunning tuna tartare placing caviar atop gives it a beautifully refined appearance. 📸  The next hurdle is the main course. Their signature seafood wont let you down. We picked seabass and Black Truffle Rigatoni. Each tube coated in a rich, cheesy, nutty truffle-infused cream and topped with truffle shavings. Super generous amount of truffles. 😋 While the meal is guaranteed to be satisfying, be sure to save room for their signature desserts. ✌#Burrata cheese#Tuna Tartare with caviar#Sea bass#Black Truffle Rigatoni#Apple tartLa Petite Maison1/F, Stanley Street, H Queen’s, 23–29 Stanley Street, CentralThanks bilibili for the free meal wishing you 🚀🚀 🌙.#hkfoodiejo

Great place; good vibes, delicious food, and friendly service. As you step in you immediately feel like you’ve left HK and entered a busy bistro in some fancy place like France or whatever. To start off, the bread was warm, fluffy, and perfect with the accompanying olive oil and balsamic vinegar.Especially memorable are the tuna tartare, escargots, steak, and vongole, although everything on the menu is worth a try. They also have a great drink and cocktail selection which is not to be missed out on.Finally, the dessert is as good as if not better than the mains. The french toast with spice ice cream is to die for.

A rather new French restaurant in prime Central HK specializing on southern France cuisines. Classy & comfortable interior. Ingredients were fresh & dishes were well cooked. Calamari was crispy on the outside while tender inside & very fresh. Marinated raw yellow tail was a bit overshadowed by the seasoning sauce but tasted refreshing. Soft cheese with tomatoes was good, very creamy & tasty. Steak was unfortunately a bit dry even cooked medium rare, but the dipping sauces were yummy. Sea bass & spring chicken were ok. Dessert was however very yummy. It would be much more appealing if not with such high price tags they charged.

I’m so amaze that i came to a French restaurant with almost 30% of the menu are Italian, the rest are very old style French. It may be the trend now a day, the restaurant gave you 2 fresh tomato, a fresh lemon, olive oil, salt & pepper plus a knife on the table (literally on the table without any dishes& asked you to make your own salad. I could not found an interesting Main so I ordered 2 appetisers, French bean with Foe Gras (described in the menu& Escargot. It was shocking when the salad turn up drown with graze balsamic & a few small dices of canned foe gras pate’ . My escargot were canned snail & not even French butter or garlic. With 2 glasses of house white wines, my bill was HKD 794.20. I just want to write this review so the restaurant should not get away with this. If you appreciate good food, don’t waste time there. Foods are wrong & so is the price.

Exquisite French Mediterranean food. The cocktails are carefully tailored made to perfection. The portions are decent, and with tons of variety always lots to choose from. The mains are great to share especially the chicken. Only not so great thing was atmosphere, its strangely cramped and though seating is comfortable, it feels too close for comfort.

Just had lunch here with my 92yo granny. We both loved the place. The decor is modern with a classic french touch. We were seated next to a window where the air con was a tad on the strong side, however the waiter anticipated this and offered a scarf to my gran - great service! We ordered the set lunch menu ($489with the steak (+$108as main dish to share. I asked the sommelier for a wine recommendation which turned out to be excellent.Points of improvement:My gran was to full for dessert so we asked if they would kindly exchange the dessert for a cup of coffee instead - unfortunately this was not possible so we ended up cancelling the dessert and paying for a cappuccino.Secondly I asked for a glass of tap water as I dont believe in flying water half-way across the earth, unfortunately they do not serve tap water to guests. All in all an enjoyable lunch for just under $1800. Good value for money and friendly staff. Just wish they would have been a little more flexible.

Really attentive and patient service. Burrata was fresh, and the cherry tomatoes that came with it were fantastic. Escargots are the chefs signature dish, and came with a parsley garlic butter sauce that went perfectly with it. Warm prawns were ok, probably wouldnt recommend. Scallop carparccio was very refreshing - citrusy and with almonds and cranberries. We really liked the whole sea bream. Chicken was tasty but half of it was a bit too dry. Succulent half was good.

Conveniently situated in a Central with just a few minutes walk from Lan Kwai Fong, Le Petite Maison should easily attract a trendy crowd and set its guests the perfect mood for the rest of the night. Small, simple and carefully crafted plates for a group to share, quality cocktails from the bar counter, funky music and contemporary decor leading to a great ambience, the restaurant is very lively and great to enjoy all night long.
