La Mexicana in Racine

I was sitting down eating my food and I saw a RAT ! A straight up rat running from the kitchen and through the restaurant! I walked out, left my food and all cause heaven only knows where that thing had been and we all know where there is one, there are more! 🤮

Want more veggies than money? Want your order to not be replaced after they ruin it? Go here! They’re rude , use condescending tones and so much more! Times are too hard to be paying all this money for hardly any darn food! I say we all stop shopping there at ones!

Definitely the go to place for snacks. The wide selection of ice cream compliments as well. I recommend the corn in a cup.

I liked it. I tried the steak tacos just to give them a chance and they hit a home run. Never knew it existed, but everything was good. Plan to visit them again for a quick bite.

Ive had two bad experiences here. The girl who took my daughters order recenly should not be working in that area. She messed up the order twice and was rude after my daughter was trying to tell her it was not correct....needless to say, they are definitely our least favorite Mexican food restaurant.

I just ordered my usual plate of tacos with beans and rice and ALL 4 of my tacos were severely overcooked smh.... just a very horrible experience very outside of their normal business!!

A restaurant I literally have spent hundreds with thru this past year had a problem replacing my order because they gave the the wrong order and then are very stingy with the food for the prices. My chicken tacos were naked literally like a teaspoon of meat, all tortilla and lettuce in every bite. I felt like I could have went to LaTapitia for that BS or even taco bell would have been better 😞

We order menudo every Sunday mornings but last Sunday the menudo had NO flavor we called and complained they said we would get a new order of menudo on the following Sunday, so we called and ordered and they acted like they did not know what was going on!!!HORRIBLE SERVICE

The service was really glad that people are nice because your food really good and fast and if you ask for something they give it to you but like if you dont want nothing on there thats comes on there you can you can take it off if you want to but overall its a really good restaurant to go to in a hurry

I had A Order That Was Almost 40$ Worth Of Food And Some Items Was Missing From My Order The Racist Owner Begin Yelling And Screaming At Me Then Posted Signs All Over The Store Now Check Your Orders Before You Leave No As A Owner Get Off Them Drugs And Make Sure Your Orders Go Out Like My Money Came In Period Never Gave My Money Back For The Missing Items Hope You Take That Money A Get Some Bug Spray Not To Mention Roaches Crawling In And Outside This Place Never Will Eat There Again PERIOD!!!!!!!!!

Ordered a steak burrito with extra shrimp; a smear of beans and guacamole. Also two orders of steak tocos with extra steak. None to little shrimp. Too much beans and the extra steak on the tacos was non existent. Charged me $40. Questioned my order after looking at it. Was told that it was okay. Never again. Taste great but did not get what I paid for. I have spent a lot of money at your establishment and recommended it to everyone. Never again. FYI. They are popular now. Service and quantity are worse.😰

My friend and I were over this way. Stopped in to la Mexicana for a quick bite. I had the ground beef chimichanga. Hit the spot, very good and natural.

Best tacos. Best elotes. Best ice cream. I believe they are family owned. I usually stop in just to grab food and head out.

Favorite place for tacos. Service is great and friendly. Visit about once a week and the only thing that changes is the heat of the salsa! That’s how you know it’s homemade!

Long wait time with one person ahead of me and sub-par burrito. Saw them microwave the meat in the kitchen twice because it went cold the first time. It was big but thats about it.

I love their food and the homemade ice cream is heavenly. Customer service is very good. And if not to busy youre in and out quickly. Portion sizes are satisfying. And their prices reasonable.

Love this place, they have a little sit in Mexican restaurant, they also have a little store inside as well. Its a little family owned business. But the food is amazing!! The service is great, and the prices are good. I go here as often as I can for Asada Tacos, and horchata. Im very picky about my Mexican food, but this place is authentic and amazing. Give it a try.

Great variety of Mexican goods and products. Food is good. Corn in a cup not so great.(Gran Morelos is way betterMake sure you check expiration dates of Pan Dulce packaged products before you have buy.. Service is friendly but slow. Which I dont mind unless you are in a huge hurry.

Some of the best Mexican food in Racine everyone in there is sooo sweet. I love their pepilocos and chimichangas. Definitely a gem in our little city.

When the original owners were therethe menudo was awesome, but its not the same it has a different flavor. And the food is greasy.. Jimenez here I come for your menudo. Its further away but its worth it.

We had the tacos dinner they were very greasy but the rice and beans were perfect. I will go back just ask for less grease
