Mediocre food. Poor service and totally incorrect bill at the end of our meal. Would not recommend.

A nice quiet place to chill with friends and family. About the food I can’t really say I enjoyed it.

Super nice restaurant in Addis! The father of the french owner drinks a glas of wine and chats to the guest in a nice way. When he leaves he tells every guest goodbye personally, its cute :The food was so good and the bread basket as a starter is so nice when they have the chicken dip, delicous!

If you have eaten injera, this should be the next restaurant to try. Very good food with friendly staff. Its a quiet romantic vibe. The garden is a nice setting. The owner and chef is French, his dad is quite often in the restaurant in the evening.

Lovely comfortable restaurant with a pleasantly surprising menu unlike any other in Addis. Sat outside for lunch. The staff was attentive (not searching for a waitress for more napkins or salt), but checked in often enough to feel like they took pride in the service they were giving. Food was amazing. Just a little confusion with the bill but an over all great experience!

One of Addis hidden gems, great garden dining with a superb menu of great French cuisine. The owner is an Addis institution who takes the time to get to know all his regulars and charms the new comers. Staff are well trained and service is excellent. Recommended.

You will have an appetite once you are in, whats n free is bigger than what you expect.

A great French Restaurant that has a great vibe. The food is very scrumptious. I had the shrimp salad and the fillet steak with blue cheese, both very good. Although the price is a little bit expensive.

Really nice place. We went on a Wednesday and it was quiet but the owner was still there making sure we got the attention needed. this is a fancy place with excellent service. The food was good. Not the best food I have ever had, but good.

Dinner here was perfect. Good ambiance, tasty food and the older French gentleman running things was absolutely pleasant. Best quiche I have had in a long time, a wonderfully creamy spread was provided for the bread basket, and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his beef dish with wonderful herbed mini fries. An enjoyable lemon tart for desert - how can one ask for more? One of the best meals I have had in Addis.

La Mandoline has a quiet atmosphere, incredible food, and reasonable prices - Finding all of those things in one place can be difficult to find in Addis. Its the perfect place to take a date or celebrate an anniversary.

La Mandoline is a restaurant without a prime location, but with a very comfortable atmosphere (it has tables inside and outsideand a menu offering well-composed, freshly made french dishes. This time, I tried the beef carpaccio as a starter and the "coquelet", prepared in a pot with some vegetables and a tasty sauce. Delicious. The restaurant may chose to invest a bit in the skills of its staff; the young lady who brought the glass of red wine, was not able to explain what kind of wine she was serving. "French?" she guessed - yes; probably. But this doesnt matter, the food is worth going there.

French dining in Ethiopia. Seemed popular with business and professional set. Food was good by Ethiopian standards, Ethiopia is not a foodie destination.

Classic Addis dinner spot. Reliably quality French food and friendly staff, reasonably priced. Specials change from time to time but the fillet steak is good as is the stuffed chicken and the pork.

Had a fantastic evening in this authentic French restaurant.Stuffed ChIcken beasts, bouf bolognaise, fillet with blue cheese dressing followed by decadent crepe suzete. All rounded off with an excellent mochiato.Highly recommended and prices reasonable but wine a bit high.Generally cheaper than the capital hotel which is within easy walking distance.Best meals we have had in several visits to Addis.
