La Liman in Tulcea
Description
Privilege
Good restaurant. Went on a Sunday night for dinner. Friendly staff, helpful. They didnt have all items on the menu available (that extends to winebut overall a nice experience. Food was good. Would return if in Tulcea.
MorePerfect
the place where you can read on the faces of children and people the emotion of meeting the great river and their lifes journey towards wisdom..! the most beautiful transport hub on the way of water auto transport tra railway sport
MoreThe meal was ok and tasty, but we had to wait a little longer than expected. Overall, its a good place to eat. Prices are ok.
MoreTasty food and good services.
Excellent food, thank you Teo (the waiter)!
Cozy place with a big terraceGood foodMedium pricesFriendly staff
Location with a view 🌅Good food, modern recipes but also a lot traditional recipes. The serving was excellent.
MoreUnfortunately all restaurant service in Romania is very poor , food quality is low , and this restaurant is not exceptional . I’ve ordered salad with cheese dor blue and fresh tomatoes , and they bring me totally different salad , and sad that menu has changed and salad what I’ve ordered now looks different. it’s insane…
MoreFood is good, nor expensive. Drinks menu is far behind the food menu.
We only dropped into La Liman for a drink and snack, but it was so relaxed we had a couple of drinks! :-)The menu draws on the multi-cultural culinary offerings of the Tulcea community and epitomises the fun, positive spirit weve encountered all across Romania. It deserves to do well.If you only have one thing at La Liman, have the hummus and tomato. Ask for extra bread!
MoreVery disappointing experience, very low quality of food compared with the prices, and bad service, I had to chase the waiters for lemon, bread, etc. This dish came with cold fries, a strange yellow stains on the bottom..at list the fish was ok.
MoreThe food is great I enjoyed it a lotThe cocktails not soo much tho, the mojito was missing like 90% of the ingredients such as mintWe were also charged for bread although we never ordered bread
MoreVery good food and nice Danube view.
Good food. Fast service. Decent prices.
The place looks very nice and clean, but the food is far from what you expect when you go to a place where fish is easy accesible, fresh.I ordered grill fish and I received a boiled fish which was after that grilled. No taste at all, of course. The staff is friendly though.
MoreNice place.....good food!
I enjoyed the food and good service.Really liked the way the place looks.Felt the vibe :). Enjoyed the experience. The food was delicious. I visited this place twice and enjoyed both experiences.I recommended it.
MoreExcellent food and services. Ive found this restaurant as a huge surprise in Tulcea city. Close to Danube river, with a nice design, simple and traditional, the restaurant offers to them guests some fish dishes and seafood together with traditional food, romanian, turkish and macedonian as well. I was delighted to eat a delicious Imam baiyaldi (turkish specialities with eggplant), fish soup, mussels and piperki (macedonian specialities). Spicy stew has been tasteful as well. I should tell you that i was impressed about very nice plating. A very good choise in this small town with Danube view. Well done! Thank you for the meal!
MoreNice place, reasonable prices. The real bonus is the staff; really good and food is o.k. but nothing special so i say is great for drinks and service. 😊
MoreGood food. Nice view but the service is pretty bad. Had to wait for a very long time for the order and the waiters were very badly organized.
MoreVery good food. In a 3-days trip, we ate twice here and we enjoyed every last bite. ❤️
MoreIt was a good experience overall, the disadvantage is the timing, the order ( we waited for 40-45 minutes for a pie and some chicken with rice)
MoreA nice restaurant of you are after fish dishes but not only. Clean and the staff are really friendly. Ample parking and play area for young kids.
MoreWe only drunk a cappuccino but it was a good one, not tastless. The design is very nice for a tulcea restaurant. Too bad that the view is blocked by the shipyard.LE: we returned from some desserts - the Dobrogean pie with vanilla sauce was delicious
MoreGreat food, great service, huge portions even for the hungry people. 6/5 stars. A must visit in Tulcea.
MoreWe just had a drink here because we had to catch the boat to Sulina but we will return to Tulcea and have a meal at this place. It has a very Mediterranean look and the inside is nicely built. What caught my attention was their sinks which were looking like two buckets. I had a Birra Moretti at 0.5L which costs 10 ron and the other people had a Frappe and a Flavoured Frappe. This place worths paying a visit.
MoreIt is a really nice place, aqualight design, clean and pleasant. We served drinks only but the food menu also looked good.
MoreEvery Danube Delta trip with MOWITI wood kayaks ends in La Liman for a good afternoon meal. Simply perfect!
MoreTasty traditional food! The service was excellent, and the terrace was lovely!I would definitelly come back again!
MoreNice location, with good food and fast service. The fish variety could be better, but still you have plenty of dishes to choose from.
MoreFood is inexpencive and pleasant. The venue is clean and the waiters polied. I recommend if for fish dishes rather that the other fish restaurants in the city.
MoreThe food was 90% good. The place look old and leaves you with a communist feeling. The staff is kind. The view is nice, near the Danube.
MoreBeautiful place, awesome receiving, tasty food
The table wasnt clean very well before sitting. We just had some drinks, which were good. Service can be a little bit faster. Big space, nice layout
MoreThis is a great place to visit for food, but sadly wont allow any dogs, not even utility dogs or any sort of support pet /service dog whatsoever. This place holds the view that dogs are unclean animals that are a risk to hygiene and health and cannot be allowed inside. HOWEVER, at the same time, this place does not have a fire safety certification.Yeah, spend some time on this: they think its less dangerous to bear the risk of burning alive than it is to get some sort of mad disease from a service dog.Otherwise, the food is nice.
MorePlace looked nice and well maintained, however for the prices that are on the menu, youll be expecting good quality food and good service.I ordered a fish with a garnish grilled veggies, however the fish was served as a stew. The fish itself had bad breath... as not being fresh. Not to mention that had to ask for a plate for the bones. My boyfriend ordered a pork ribs, very greasy.. massive put down. Not recommending.
MoreIt is a great to eat fish and regional cuisine, meaning a mixt of Romanian, Turkish, Russian dishes. Pike eggs are exquisite !The design is really cool, inspired by local architecture, with a twist of modernity and simplicity.Great service, very good ratio quality/price.The many days I spent in Tulcea I became regular. This is what I sutton all of you!
MoreQuick service, nice scenery. Outside and inside sitting. Located in the Tulcea port. The dish selection is quite large, suitable for all tastes, including local fish dishes. The quality is average. Ok to eat here if you are waiting for a boat. Otherwise, its better to search a local who serves tastier dishes. Card payment allowed.
MoreThe best food I had in Tulcea. Cosy place, nice staff, variable offer (also for vegans and vegetarians), great view and wonderful atmosphere. The prices are ok concerning the quality :-)
MoreGreat bang for a buck.Eating local specialities here is a must. All with a great view of the Blue Danube. Please let me know your experience.
MoreFirst of all, the staff is nice, but that’s not enough when you’d expect at least some organizational skills... i had the feeling they chose ‘cheap labor’. The food was not bad, but not great either... we still liked the staff, at least we had a good laugh at the total mess serving us..... so, please teach your staff how to serve the customers and please please improve in the kitchen or add some extra cooks, waiting one hour for some simple grilled chicken is not satisfactory.
MoreGreat food, good prices, close to the train station and the harbour
Im sorry to say, but just restaurants looks good there.
Good food, very nice view!
Unfortunately not a good experience for us. Same as other clients who shared their experience here we had to wait for more than 5 minute to get a menu and for 20 minutes before someone took out order. All this while, other customers, "better dressed" than us probably, who arrived after we did got treated with priority. I have to mention here that there were maybe 7 tables with clients outside and 1 table inside and there were three waiters. The food we ordered was ok but nothing special though. I ordered some appetizer and as it was described it seemed to have some little sandviches but when the waiter brought it the roe was actually on a slice of lemon and the waiter didnt advise us to ask for bread on the site. Again, we had to wait for the food for about 50 minutes. I was very upset to see that there was smoking on the Terrace which was not an open one and the ashtray on our table was full of ash when we came in and no one cleaned it until we left. The worst thing that we got to see didnt involve us directly. The waiters chose to be very rude to an older gentleman who seemed to be a but drunk and they kicked him out and then made fun of him for a few minutes after he left. To end on a more positive note the restaurant is on the side of the Danube, with a very nice view but, at least for us the service was very bad and as the food was pretty regular we will definetly not return there and we will not be recommending the place to friends.
MoreWelcoming place with a fresh design, excellent food (you have to try the local specialtiesand friendly staff. Probably the best restaurant around Tulcea.
MoreWe went there twice. The food was good and fresh. We had different kinds of fish. The portions are big and compared to the prices, I can say that it is quite cheap. The first time we went there we ate some fish and desserts, the second time we ate fish borș and ciorbă, fish meatballs and beef tongue with olives. We payed around 100 lei/around 22€ everytime for two people. I must say that the beef tongue wasnt only that, it also had 3 slices of beef meat but it was good nonetheless. The toilet was clean. The design of the restaurant is really nice.
MoreFirst time at La Liman where I had a positive experience. Then I went again the next days along with my group of friends. I appreciated the clean design and tasteful pastel colours. The food is good, nothing out of the ordinary, but rest assured of the good quality. It was served really quickly, even if we have ordered more than 7-8 plates. The senior personnel knows customer service, but however the newbies can have a hard time remembering the order. I didnt appreciate the lack of flexibily: breakfast served until 12:00, asked for breakfast at 12:09 and the waitress didnt even asked the cook if it was possible, since they breakfast means fried eggs and they serve a fried egg in other dishes whatsoever.
MoreHorrible service. When we came, 4 waitresses were standing by the bar doing nothing and yet we had to wait 25 minutes to even get the menu. People that came after us were served sooner. The concept of appetizers completely escapes them as we got everything at nearly the same time. Food was quite average, portion was quite big. If you are looking for cheap eats, come here. Otherwise go somewhere else.
