Smiles and friendliness abound here! Nice, air-conditioned and CLEAN accommodations. Location is near the Rock City mall, ferries and a market. Staff responded to requests in a timely manner. All the lobby staff treat you very well - beautiful people! English could be polished more, but we are satisfied. Plan to return.Rated 4 rather than 5 because the WiFi was down most of the time we were there. This impacted our travel - airline check-in, communication with family and friends, etc. Taxis are nearby. Also, we stayed in two different rooms and both had light bulbs out or missing. To be fair, we did not report to management in either case, so they did not have the option to fix. I assume they would have.

This place used to be good earlier but this time we faced many issues with our rooms. Hot water was not coming, taps and shower were damaged. Otherwise location is very good if they improve on little thing and maintain the rooms properly. The biggest advantage is Indian chef who cooks awesome dishes on your demand. Best restaurant for Indian food in Mwanza. Higher floor rooms is having very good view of victoria lake and mountains.

Good space. Bar and resturant service available. Serves veg and non-veg food having each a dedicated kitchen, bbq servce also available. Food takes long to be served. Customer service is okie. Lighting is abit dull.

Stayed for 4 days at this hotel on my last visit to Mwanza.The price is reasonable ranging from 45k for single to 65k for double.Based on the prices not much is expected but the hotel is clean, the room is clean, the beds are comfortable, some fitting in bathroom needs to be replaced and hot water from the shower was an issue in the morning.African style buffet breakfast is served.The good part of the hotel is a wonderful restaurant which serves several cuisines including african, continental, chinise, indian etc.

la kairo it means long journey." Beautiful name but hotel staff proving wrong .unprofessional staff . Waitre and chefs dont know how to deal with customer .Be careful if you prefer perfection.

Nice hotel besides lake Victoria the hotel is 6 floor from the top you will have a nice view of the lake, the hotel has got restaurant, sea food are also available Ill give it a 4 star.

The atmosphere is lovely but I wouldnt have said the best fish in town. I ordered Makange and theThe fish had been fried so much it was hard underneath, so no spices got into it. Shame really. It was a good size.
