Privilege
Tasty well selected dishes. Typical french restaurant well located.Nice atmosphere.Indoor and outdoor seating.
MoreAn excellent dining choice in the heart of Montmartre. The food was delicious. I recommend the lamb and boeuf bourguignon.Staff was very pleasant and welcoming. All in all it was a great experience on account of the food and the history of the place.
MoreWe will never forget that Saturday night in Montmartre. Wonderful people, music, wine and food. Simple and natural. Yes, it still exists in Paris. Thank you "Le Moulin de la Galette".
MoreWe enjoyed a delicious meal here. Traditional French food of a very high standard at a good affordable price. The staff were very friendly and helpful which really added to the experience. It was busy when we were there so its best to plan ahead and book in advance. Enjoying a meal in a setting which played such an important role in the history of art was one of the highlights of our visit to Paris.
MoreAmazing food and the best creme Brulee!!! Cozy atmosphere and very friendly people!!!!!!
MoreBefore coming here I was a little bit battled, given that many reviews were negative or considering this restaurant too touristy. I decided to give it a go And to be honest, I was a great decision, since I ate one of the best ducks of my life (Confit de canard). The location is amazing, just be mindful that it’s a bit uphill so if you have difficulties in walking, get a taxi or Uber to Reach it.
MoreEverything we ordered was tasty and the service was great.
The place is one of the most beautiful place to be in Paris. Beautiful arts(paintings). They have a nice service. Clean bathroom and enough space for a big group. The terrace is big and can be covered on top depending on the weather. Language wont be a problem as the servers are bilingual. The food was ok, the teste is bit less than it looks. Even though that was the only meal we had the day we visited we were very sick afterwards. Apart from that the place is beautiful and clean. Make sure to book before going as the place is always fool. I hope this helps.
MoreAmazing. Everything was delicious and the ambiance was wonderful. I took my parents here when they visited and we had such a lovely time! Great classic french food and THE BEST crème brûlée we’ve ever had! Your Paris trip isn’t complete without a visit to Le Moulin de la Galette !
MoreExcellent food and service. Our kids loved the atmosphere and the steak frites, and we enjoyed the linguine (vegetarianand the escargot.
MoreWe stopped by for just drinks which we let them know upfront. We waited for about 20 mins to get service but no one showed up, so I went inside and asked politely if we could get service since its been a while. Then someone came to get our order but with much attitude even though we were trying to be nice to not come off complaining.I ordered wine. Ive never been served wine in such a manner, the waiter didnt give me a taste before serving (I ordered the more expensive optionand didnt even show the bottle to see its the one I ordered.Throughout the whole time he kept coming out and giving us angry looks until we paid and left.I think they dont like visitors and clearly dont know how to serve wine which is just ironic for a Parisian restaurant.
MoreSo disappointed. I ordered the mushroom pasta and it was tasteless, bland and overpriced. The place is very nice and cozy but the food didn’t taste fresh at all and I left most of my food and the staff didn’t care it was bad
MoreHorrible food - no flavour at all in the pasta with forestierre sauce, the mushrooms were bitter and inedible, while the mussels did not smell fresh at all, many of them were discoloured and clearly not fresh. Disappointing, because the aesthetics are lovely.
MoreI love the fish here. Its so fresh and delicious ! They also have the best cream brûlée and chocolate Mousse Ive ever had.Ill be coming back for more!
MoreSadly, we were treated so rudely by waiter that we had to leave before even trying the food. He asked my husband not to talk to him until he spoke. He told us the table he seated us at was to have a full meal (why don’t you ask before seating us? We would had walked away. Unfortunate that a rude, bitter waiter can ruin the reputation of a place so fast.
MoreGorgeous setting in this 19th century house with a mill on top! Food was tasty, waiters friendly, sat in the tucked away garden at back, would definitely come back! Lovely romantic setting.
MoreOur waiter was incredibly rude. At one point he told me to “cooperate” with him when all I asked for were plates for the bread and the water we’d already ordered twice. He mocked us and insulted us in French even though we could understand what he was saying perfectly well. He was confrontational and it felt like he was trying to pick a fight with me, he lacked even the most basic customer service etiquette. The food is not nearly good enough to justify this kind of attitude, my friend couldn’t eat his meal because it was so bland. Everyone at the table had complaints. Steer clear of this restaurant, so many better options nearby. I can’t remember the last time I left a place feeling so dissatisfied and unwelcome.
MoreThis restaurant was so cute and wonderful little spot to dine for lunch! The location was perfect as well! It felt like we went back in time. The restaurant has been well taken care of. 💕💓💕 I think its because how Parisians are care so much about their properties and presentation. ✨✨✨We had the French onion soup and the duck which was delicious and perfect after visiting the Dali Musee. The server was very nice, happy, and attentive even though it was very busy. If you can stop here I would recommend 👍👍👍
MoreGood location with friendly staff. We have been there to just have Crème Brûlée, but we ordered a cheese plate as well. The Crème Brûlée was great. I wish I had an option to choose the cheeses for the plate, as I dont like sheep and goat cheese. I didnt ask, and they didnt ask too, you may need to ask them and see if they can give you options to choose your cheese. The cheese plate was served with a few pieces of baguette which were not fresh not toasted or warmed, so it was much great to have a better bread.
MoreGreat place for dinner. Both inside as outside is great with a friendly staf and delicious food in wonderful Montmartre area.
MoreVery nice restaurant! We had some good wine and mussels, combined at a beautiful location with a windmill. We also had a kind and hospitable waiter. A place to visit when you are around Montmartre :)
MoreIt is always with great pleasure that we have returned to one of our favorite restaurants in Paris: the Moulin de la Galette is not only a mythical address in Montmartre, for years now the new team led by Gregory has striven to ensure that your experience here is simply unforgettable! The atmosphere is super nice, the team professional and smiling, attentive to the smallest detail. The cuisine is traditional French, with some of the great classics, and the wine list is excellent to accompany these dishes. The most important thing is that our friends always appreciate the experience and the privilege that it means to dine in this sublime place.Un grand merci à notre serveur Sam et à toute léquipe! We will definitely come back again and again!
MoreThe food is delicious! The atmosphere is really nice, you can sit outside, under the moulin or inside. The staff is really kind and fast!
MoreMy wife and I had an amazing dinner here, the atmosphere, cuisine, and most importantly the warm service provided by Subh made this our most enjoyable and memorable meal during our visit in Paris. We cant wait to go back with our friends!
MoreVery good food across a decently broad menu; in particular the chocolate mousse was the best Ive ever had! The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Advance reservations strongly suggested, particularly for the very limited outdoor seating.
MoreWhat a fantastic restaurant, meal and staff. Thankyou for making our meal so special, and especially to Gloria for taking care of us and her excellent Crêpes Suzette skills.
MoreNice place. Delicious food. Good service. Nice atmosphere.
We stopped by for a late afternoon coffee and dessert in Montmartre. It was totally worth it.
MoreVery good French cuisine! We were lucky to get a table for two for lunch on Sunday in their backyard garden. Really recommend this place if you are in the area.
MoreAwesome location, awesome garden and even better dessert.
Delightful and affordable French delicacies. Theres an outdoor sitting area, and its best to book ahead for large groups. The welcoming and friendly staff also speak English which is great.
MoreNice environment but awful service. Waited for a long time for the waiter to come back with the card machine to pay only to be told the minimum with a card was €10 (everywhere else is was €5). When I asked about atms nearby I was told they were too far away. Honestly don’t go there - you will find much better and cheaper places within a short walking distance.
MoreIt is such a beautiful construction in the middle of Paris but not many people seem to notice it when they come to visit . I have not been inside the restaurant because it is very popular and there is rarely a free place but even so , you can still admire the last standing windmill from the outside .
MoreThe best chocolate mousse I had in town. And the place is cute, lots of greens and nature around.
MoreI dont understand other reviews. This was one of the most terrible restaurant I have tried. The waiter was extremely stressful, running everywhere.I had the mussels, which I didnt finish, there was a taste of wine slightly offThe person with me had the duck, no taste.Very basic and expensive. A tourist restaurant not well thought
MoreIt looks pretty touristy, but the food was actually pretty good. We started with the terrine, and it was so tasty and buttery, that was impossible to stop eating. The boeuf bourguignon was great. My friend had the duck and said it was great also.
MoreDisappointing in the end. Looks great on the outside, but the food and service is poor. The Mussels had clearly been sitting around for a while, and as soon as I asked politely for a fresher version, the waiters did not want to know, and ignored us for the rest of the meal. Then to top it all off, they ran out of all the desserts, bar two and their excuse was ‘it’s a Sunday’ as if I should have expected this. Not what I expect when paying big money for a family meal. In a place famed for it’s place in French history, the owners need to stop playing American classic hits, it completely kills the atmosphere. Could do with a visit from Gordon Ramsey 👍
MoreGreat place to visit with delicious food. Located in the old city near Montmartre. Would like to visit again
MoreAmazing food despite Renoir is not there. The texture of beef is excellent.
While an impressive facade greets and beckons you in, the service was less than enticing. Apart from being given a menu half the size of our fellow diners the food did little to captivate our imagination of what French cuisine is all about.
MoreThe food is good, but not extraordinarily good. The fish soup and beef cheek confit were really delicious. As for drinks, there arent so many wines to choose from.Overall however, it was a nice experience, and the staff is kind.
MoreStunning restaurant in montmartre. I had 3 course fixed menu and it was simply delicious. Service was excellent. Atmosphere was great.
MoreGreat service and lovely delicious food for a good price! We would definitely come back to this wonderful restaurant!
MoreA month ago we had lunch with foie gras & steak tartare. Which was great . BUT today we went with our kids and there was no possibility for steak tartare. “ only for lunch” we asked 2 times if they where sure . After 10 minutes we saw a steaktaetare for somebody else passing by from the kitchen …. Ok weird. We ordered 2 pasta pesto (very simplefor our kids. We’ve had to pay 50€ only for that. Really overrated. We should have taken the kids menu for 9,50 each. Stupid …. Also they forgot my side dish with the mussels… the mussels where very very small. Maybe not the best season . Very disappointed visit. The foie gras was good.
MoreReally nice food, this is the place to get your Parisian aesthetic going - theres a giant windmill and the garden (if youre able to eat outsideis a treat. The food was brilliant and the staff was lovely and cheeky, which made for an enjoyable dinner
MoreFood is very tasty. Staff is professional and English speaking. Location is fantastic.I recommend
MoreGreat restaurant in Montmartre. The outdoor space is very cozy and casual. Service was excellent, with the staff very polite and were always smiling. The food was exquisite and was above our expectations. Very nice wine list, with good options of Champagne.
MoreDefinitely a wonderful place to have a meal in the Montmartre area. We were greeted with a warm Bon jour and seated right away. Which was surprising as it was in the middle of lunch time. More likely great timing because as soon as we sat down, the place filled up very quickly. Menu had great meals to choose from. There are lunch combo deals available if you would like to save a few euros. We had typical French fare, escargot, boeuf bourguignone, aubergine, ceviche. And for dessert we had crepe suzette with the flambe done table side. Worth the extra calories. Highly recommended.
MoreAmazing place! Very tasty, great atmosphere! Pleasant inside, interesting menu, very kind and friendly staff. Definitely will come again!
MoreAfter a day of walking around Montmarte we came here to eat. They have a small variety of expensive, high class dishes. I had roasted pigeon and mash potato for the first time. While the portions are incredibly small like most similar restaurants the food was incredibly tasty, especially the mash potato. The restaurant itself was very well presented and the service was good. They were a bit slow when busy and we had to get their attention a few times as they kept us waiting. The deserts and drinks selection is very nice - even the water they serve with your meal is very tasty and sharp. If youre looking for a more expensive and exquisite place to dine while in Paris I recommend coming here.
