Absolutely tiny. Clean, but tiny. No room and hardly anywhere to sit in your own room. Unless you upgrade to the nicer rooms, even the bathrooms have you bumping into walls. We walked down a block or two to get coffee inside the double tree hotel and for the same price, I would much rather have stayed there!! It was very spacious compared to la galerie. Would NOT stay here again. Not worth the price for the amount of room and service provided.

Our stay was pleasant and it was a great location. And there is a restaurant attached! In other reviews people complained about parking being 2 blocks away. It wasnt that bad of a walk. It took maybe 5 minutes. People have to understand this is downtown New Orleans and parking near your hotel is impossible. The cost was the cheapest I have ever paid for New Orleans hotel parking. Our room was decent. It was small but you can see that in the pics before you book but that didnt stop me from booking because the location was perfect and within walking distance for everything we needed.

The service matches the price. The rooms were clean and tidy, the bathroom had necessary accessories. The price of parking was more reasonable. The receptionist was nice and helpful. I wont reduce the number of stars because of this, but there were no slippers in the bathroom. The TV remote was not working and I couldnt connect to netflix.

For a 3 star rated hotel, it was better than many 4 star ones. Clean, modern, and seemed kept up. Maintenance was even working on rooms when we went to ours. Since it was in an hold building, the room size was not an issue. In walking distance of Bourbon St, Canal, and other local shops. There was an issue with parking. It was my fault, but the hotel has not tried to make it right with the overpayment.

Location. LocationThe hotel is situated at the right location for everything. The staff is great and accommodating. Special shout out to Jasmine. However I do think they are in need of some renovation. Carpet on 4th floor is dirty and have dark stains. Bathroom in lobby is not clear 😕.I did appreciate the complimentary tea and coffee ☕️

Ive stayed here twice now and while I do have a few suggestions, my overall stay was very much enjoyable. I like that this is a pet friendly hotel. That being said it is New Orleans and you have to find a patch of grass and the hotel doesnt tell you where the closest place is. If you walk out of the hotel turn left and keep straight for about 2 minutes you will find a spot on your right. My first room on the second floor was much bigger than my room on the fourth floor. There was also a really neat artsy thing in my room on the 4th floor, but it took up a lot of space and could be a tripping hazard. The hotel offers parking that ends up being almost $23 a night which isnt terrible, but it isnt on site and you park yourself. Once you park its a 2-3 minute walk back which isnt bad unless its storming. I like this hotel and the location is nice. If you walk out of the hotel and turn left, then go straight for 10 minutes you will be in Jackson Square. The restaurant right beside the hotel is very good and you have the Ruby Slipper diagonal to it. Youre also 1 minute away from Canal Street. My rooms were very clean, and the beds were very comfortable. I do wish they would make sure the soaps were refilled and presentable before giving someone a room. I do like that there isnt a nasty shower curtain to deal with and theres no carpet. If youre looking for a view outside of your window or a balcony Im sorry to disappoint, but you will not get that with this hotel. The hotel staff is very friendly and professional and overall this is a really good place to stay.

Staff were friendly. But, had several incidents during our stay. First night, as we were preparing to retire, we pulled back the comforter to dirty sheets. Called for clean ones, very nice front desk clerk got us a set immediately, but we had to make our own bed which was not easy. There was some sort of slug or something? above one of the windows in the room which we asked about but never got an explanation for nor was it removed. I took a picture of it. Every night between 7-9 there was a strange sound in the walls that was kind of disturbing. Not exactly like a cricket, but similar. When we knocked on the walls, it would stop briefly, but it would start right back up. Clearly, theres some sort of bug in the wall...The rooms are small, but lets be honest, youre not going to New Orleans for an all-inclusive resort experience. Its just the right size for crashing out. I just wish the standards of the Hotel were higher for the rates they charge. Its like a Hotel Six all dressed up, but its still like a Hotel Six at much higher rates.I can say Thank You for making me look forward to being home! Im so appreciative of the little things.*They offered a late check out at 1pm so we wouldnt be rushed out that last day. But they wouldnt let us rest, twice their staff came knocking to see if we had left yet prior to the 1pm checkout. Very frustrating!

Stayed here after my flight got canceled, causing a scramble for accommodations for one more night. Its a nice hotel in a great location near many landmarks and public transportation. All the staff I interacted with were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, although the bathroom was quite small. It was a comfortable one night stay, and I would definitely consider staying again for a longer timeframe.

Super cute hotel! Rooms are kind of tiny. But cozy & relaxing. Front desk staff was always amazing. Housekeeping was super nice as well. They keep water/coffee out in the lobby & were always willing to help. The rooms have been newly re-done & the updated bathrooms are terrific. Smart TVs with Netflix/YouTube/etc. options along with cabel. The beds were really soft. && the hotel including the elevator & hallways were ALWAYS kept smelling some special lovely fragrance & SUPER CLEAN!! I highly recommend staying here if youre alone or there as a couples/girls trip. I dont recommend anymore then 2 people per 1 room as they are a bit smaller than other hotels!! Great location for so many different walking distance places/stores/restaurants/shops!!

I cannot recommend this hotel. Ive stayed at a wide range of accommodations and dollar for dollar this place is a disappointment. Pulsing washing machine sounding noise penetrating the room from the rest of the building, very loud and rattling AC, and immediately noticeable as dirty. King bed was of mediocre quality and comfort. Polyester sheets. Mediocre quality towels. Weak shower. In general it felt like a bottom tier motel with some recent superficial updates and more space. Location is the main selling point but there are a ton of other options.

Location is very important when staying in the French Quarter so this hotel did not disappoint. We had several rooms at the hotel for family members and everyone felt the same with the cleanliness of the rooms and comfortable beds. The hotel is small and only has one elevator but I never waited long. The service was amazing and Ms Shelly was extremely nice and hospitable to everyone. I don’t recall the other staff members names but those young ladies who worked in the evenings were just as nice and professional. The housekeeping is not done during your stay due to Covid but anything you need the front desk accommodated. I will definitely stay here again.

My stay was absolutely amazing! I stayed 2 nights and had zero problems. The room was spotless, check in was a breeze, coffee was brewed (and they don’t cheap out with coffee, they actually make it strongand was available at 4 am when I woke up every morning! Parking was cheap, $20 a day. I wouldn’t call it a problem as this location is in the French Quarter, but trying to park while checking in was not easy and the parking garage was a block around the corner… but that’s going to happen anywhere. I have to say whoever works the night shift that was working at 4 am is one of the most awesome front desk people I’ve encountered. She was prepared for all of my questions so early in the morning and didn’t seem annoyed lol. I also asked for housekeeping to stop by my room and get the used towels replaced and to take my garbage out and when I got back to my room the room was cleaned from top to bottom. This place was stellar and extremely reasonably priced for its location. I definitely suggest staying here!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The location was perfect from everything we wanted to do. The longest walk was about 13 minutes to get to the one cemetery tour. Bourbon street is about 3 minutes around the corner. The river front is maybe 5 or 6 minutes up the street. All in all its close to a lot. The desk staff was always warm and friendly and willing to chat when not busy. Our room was larger with two bedroom sections. However the first room with the desk was just so dark. Not enough lighting. The main rooms bed was super comfortable. Yes the walls arent sound proof so you can hear a lot of footsteps and muffled talking. The water pressure isnt the best but honestly thats all over down here. The charm of this place out numbers any of that. Its a great clean place to rest up after exploring.
