Good food!!! Great service!!! La fogata is surely a great place to have dinner!

For the tourist scene definitely a place to go food is very good my favorite is the cabrito(la paleta de cabrito)

Professional and friendly services , questions about the food answered satisfactory, I get what I expected.

Im giving it 4 stars because the food was good enough and the service was also okay but the place is surely overpriced. Wont be going back, there is many other delicious places to visit😁

Had a great meal at this restaurant that is within walking distance from the Hidalgo International bridge. Ordered 2 soups: cream of broccoli and cream of elotes. The jaiba rellenas came with 3 pieces and were very well prepared. Main entrees were the filete de huachinango al gusto and the chicken cordon blue. The service was very attentive and made several suggestions to us. The check came in just a tad over 1000 pesos including the 2 beers and the 2 other drinks we ordered. Will definitely come back when visiting Reynosa next time.

Best cabrito I have ever eaten. Clean place and very attentive and friendly staff. My family has been dining there for the past 55 years.The tables are kind of small when seated at a place for 4, but the great food makes up for it.😋

It used to be good but has become more expensive and although the waiters and staff are all very pleasant and the place is clean including restrooms, the quality of food seems to have gone down.

But my Parents leave her in México but i Speak a little bet of Spanish but i dont now

Nice restaurant not too far from the pedestrian bridge at Hidalgo-Reynosa. If youre gonna walk it, be prepared for a 15 minute walk in the heart, but its doable. Parking is also ample both in front of the restaurant and across the street. The AC is also on high, so its a good reprieve from the heat. Menu is ample and prices are reasonable when comparing to US prices. Theres also a small shop in front with some touristy items for sale.

We always have a great food and excellent service here...It was a little bit expensive but the atention of the people and the restaurant quality deserves it...

Excellent service, good food.

The food was cold and the cabrito I ordered looked overcooked and old. Pretty disgusting I sent it back and ordered a fish dish that was equally tasteless. I gave up and left and upon returning home I sent an email to the owner to at least have the opportunity to voice my opinion...I have yet to get a response...never again dont waste your hard earned money.

Been going La Fogata for 21 years. The most consistently good restaurant I have ever known with great service. I recommend this restaurant above all in Reynosa and the Rio Grande Valley. AMEN.

We had to wait 1 hour for cabrito, so we ordered something else instead.

I love this place. Great service, wonderful food, an all around pleasant experience. Been here many times. My favorite dishes are Camarones a la Diabla and Camarones al Ajillo but can recommend anything on the menu as the food is fabulous.

Wow. Great option for upscale Mexican dining in Reynosa. I had the Cabrito, and it was really delightful. The Bananas Flambe were a real treat and were flamed next to our table. A table near us had live Mariachis, so that was pretty sweet. This is a great date restaurant or for large groups. Given the USD exchange rate it was very affordable.

It is a very nice family oriented restaurant. A bit costy but worth every cent.
