La Fiorentina - Restaurant in Bristol, United Kingdom
it’s an honour to know Arminos, what a lovely man
Great location and excellent portion sizes :)However the food was nothing special. The dough and marinara felt and tasted store bought.Would recommend for families, not foodies, sorry!
staff are so lovely, really nice atmosphere. the owner let us order food despite the kitchen closing. really nice act of kindness which was appreciated. food was yum and love the decor and music! thanks guys:)
Very disappointing, won’t be visiting again. Firstly, rude arrogant cocky waiter, secondly overpriced (£13salad, it was basically a plate of lettuce but was supposed to be a thinly sliced beef salad - there were 4 little bits of wafer thin beef, with no dressing, I asked for some balsamic vinegar and the cocky waiter tried to give me some Sarsons malt vinegar, there was no bread with it a complete rip off. I asked the waiter if he was the boss, surprise surprise he said no, of course if he was the boss he wouldn’t have offered such a terrible experience. Avoid, much better options on Gloucester Road.
Great pizza.Best dough in Bristol.True italian taste.Reasonable priced.
Lunch meal: starter (bruschettasand main (spaghetti di mare), good size portions and presentation. prices are a bit high for what the restaurant offers considering overall.
Incredible food, fantastic service, very very friendly staff. Could do with a few more non alcoholic drink options but otherwise 10/10
Cosy and spacious all at once. Good service. Decent food well presented
Great service, very friendly staff, delicious food, kind to kids. My family enjoyed the dinner strongly would recommend 🍝 🍕 🍷
Lovely staff, had a cozy vibe
Great food and ginormous portions alongside a very good service. We will come back!
Excellent pizza for me and the kids. We all loved it and all want to go back.
One of the best restaurants in Bristolwonderful serviceattentive staffwonderful food and fair prices.you will be satisfied !!!
Came here for an impromptu Sunday afternoon meal and the food was fab. Hearty portions of tasty dishes. Lovely, relaxed family atmosphere. Kids menu was really good value.
Excellent, a cozy little Italian with a fabulous staff and huge selection on the menu with amazing and unique pizzas, wide ranging pastas and the best restaurant salad Ive had. All while being affordable and so noticeably fresh. Im already looking forward to my next visit.
Amazing service, delicious authentic started and main and top tier cocktails. Would highly highly recommend
Lovely neighbourhood Italian. Extensive menu. Great sharing starter of hummus and veg. Gluten free and vegan choices available. Value for money. Informal and very welcoming staff
Really nice Italian food in a Trattoria style place on Gloucester Road. Pasta comes with garlic bread & salad as standard. Also a great pint of Moretti on tap. Recommended!
Beautiful pizza, really tasty and original topping combinations. We had the duck pizza which was different and delicious, the Buffalo chicken was equally as good, and the plain margarita for the fussy eater was eaten without fuss! Very friendly and kind management and staff. Will definitely be having pizza from here again, especially as its 3 for 2 if you collect!
I went to this restaurant today and the food was amazing and the service and staff were all nice . The owner is extremely generous . Would definitely recommend this place and would definitely will be coming back .⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Lovely place, great food, massive portions, and nice staff, highly recommended. 🍕
To be honest the best restaurant I have being in the UK. The service was lovely and the food was amazing. A 1000% worth going
Perfect place to eat in . Ive ordered a pizza it came very quickly and very delicious. the best pizza I ever eaten .
Service was really good, food and drinks came out fast and its a nice place to sit and talk to friends over food. They had made a mistake and missed my meal, lots of apologies and it came out fast.. portions are really good size.. 2 of us had the carbonara and were a little underwhelmed by it. Pizzas are delicious and well sized for the price.
Food was lovely, had the salmon pasta highly recommended! Starters and mains were very generous portions, waitress was lovely will definitely be back! X
Excellent, characterful food, friendly and efficient staff. Pleasant ambience. Lovely house wine.Thoroughly enjoyable experience.
Lovely friendly local restaurant with competitive prices & a menu with something for everyone. We enjoyed a Chicken Ceasar Salad & Halumi salad. Both were delicious but could have done with more washing to remove the grit from the salad leaves.
Nice pizza- even the small one was huge! Could have had more generous vegetables on the toppings. But otherwise no complaints!
The person serving us couldnt have been more accommodating and the food was amazing. If I could Id give 6 stars. Cant recommend highly enough.
If I could, I wouldve given a 3.5 stars... the staff couldnt be nicer but the food was just nice but nothing outstanding. The salad was slightly dry (season wiseand had the hardest avocado Ive ever tried. Pasta was delicious but pizzas were ok. Good thing, there are 2 pizza sizes (12 and 14"). Another good thing, there is an outdoors space
Our favourite local Italian restaurant, usually for food but sometimes just for coffee or a glass of wine. Very friendly and great food at very reasonable prices, you can sit in or out.
This is literally the best pasta and pizza i have had in Bristol! The staff were so lush and friendly and the owner was so welcoming. Even better the prices are so reasonable for fantastic large portions. An absolute must go too!!!
Spaghetti carbonara was very good, good price and service, nice terrace if the sun is out. Update Apr 2021, now with covered terrace and covid measures in place. Fantastic 4 cheese pizza, also great calamari. Wine and coffee also very good.
Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely Italian restaurant in Gloucester Road.so fortunate to have this place just a few minutes away from home. Food is so tasty , fresh and stunning,Great cocktails and wine with reasonable price .The waitres is a guy who keep smiling and happy to serve everyone . Absolutely great guy .They have Excellent food with big menus is extensive and seasonal to a particularly high standard.Definitely fine dining for everyone.they also have best vegan pizza and pasta as my mate ordered .
Great food and even better customer service! The food is so fresh and authentically Italian and the owners are super friendly and attentive. Highly recommend and will be back!
love this place, went last night again, waiter scrambling around tending to so many tables, think there were just 3 people working (inc chefsand loads of tables. some of the menu makes me laugh (nachos, greek salad, duck pizza...etc etc but its great (the italian style dishes, cant speak for the non italian), and a great location and very reasonable, thanks :)
Food delivered cold. One pizza had anchovies added in error, which ruined the pizza! The other lacked any real flavour and looked unappetising.Incredibly disappointed. We binned both pizzas after just one slice; £31 wasted, so not cheap either.
Amazing food, Friendly warm atmosphere. You can tell alot of love and care is put into making the food. Its a Lovely place to relax and have a meal with friends and family.
At first, a nice looking small restaurant on the Gloucester road. No covid measures in place on arrival, bought a starter and a drink. 20min after ordering the waitress asked me if it was a regular or diet coke I wanted. Eventually a coke and a bowl of calimari were brought to my table. The bowl was carried in her hands with fingers all over the rim of the bowl etc. It was plonked on my table and then she walked off. No cutlery, no napkins. The olives were nice, the calimari was thick and quite rubbery. I could not get the waitress attention to ask for cutlery. There was only 2 other tables of customers, and she was nowhere to be seen most of the time, I was sat outside, and she didnt come out at all. Another member of staff took their break with a cigarette at a table opposite me. As they finished their break they stood up and I said "excuse me", but was ignored as they went back to the kitchen. I reverted to baby wipes to get the grease and crumbs from my fingers. Another waitress just starting her shift eventually asked how my food was. I told them about my experience, and all she could say was "I just started my shift". So I paid the bill and left.Really not the experience I was expecting.
Great pizza option on Deliveroo for our area (Easton and St Wergburghs), Beef Ragu is rich and delish, BBQ chicken for non-traditional pizza-fans is excellent - really good size, thin base with a good sized crust at a fair price. Have done, will continue to do and will recommend (under 30minsdelivery again!
This is a great little local cafe/restaurant. Its unusual to find an Italian restaurant which is open all day and does breakfast and brunch. They even do a breakfast pizza! Their food is delicious, and good value with big portions. My wife had an chorizo omelette with tomato sauce, which was actually more like a shakshuka, with poached eggs in spicy tomato sauce- they were poached perfectly. My vegetarian breakfast flatbread was also very nice. Both meals came with a free hot drink, and came in at around £15! Well definitely keep coming back.
I had a Romana pizza, with prawns, tuna and anchovies. Very nice dough, very nice pizza. Be warned, however, when they say large, they really mean it. As the waitress said, its hand-stretched, and it was truly gigantic. Im a big bloke, but I had to take some home.
This place is so fab! The food is fresh and moderately priced for quality of ingredients and the menu has lots of variance. £8.45 brunch menu til 3 and mains average £9 for a good portion. Ive been sat here for an afternoon on my laptop and had a great glass of 175ml house white for just £3.45 a DELICIOUS augustini made in house for only 85p (and they gave me another for free!and a delicious fresh sandwich. Ive seen that house bottles of wine are always a tenner and Ill definitely be back with friends!
I went to visit my sister and her friends in Bristol city and she took me to a lovely Italian restaurant which called la Fiorentina. i did not expect that this could be a proper traditional Italian taste . a lovely restaurant, with good food and amazing services and atmosphere.i definitely hope to go back there soon i visit England. The Lasagna with garlic bread were YUMMY and so good .
Enjoyed my coffee, popped in and had a cappuccino earlier today. It was a new girl on her first shift and she was very friendly. Best wishes in the future and kind regards will probably visit again when I pass by.
This place is without question the best Italian restaurant in Bristol maybe even England. Will be reviewing it on my pizza review blog. Its without question the most authentic, honest and most humble place Ive eaten in since leaving home. The owner is a genius and my mother would be proud of his pizza.
This is a restaurant in a good location that doesnt seem to be fulfilling its potential - it was virtually empty the lunchtime we tried it - which is a pity as the panini we had were unexpectedly delicious and served within moments when I mentioned I didnt have much time. Gordon Ramsey would no doubt say their menu is too large and generic (but Italianand the space would benefit from a makeover. It deserves to do better, if only for the sake of the courteous and extremely helpful waiter who served us.
Very tasty , good prices and You can bring your own alcohol
Delicious food, friendly atmosphere and very good value. A longer wait than we expected as it wasnt very busy, but we were so impressed with the dishes when they arrived that we forgave them. My lasagne was not just a chunk from a slab, and utterly yummy, and my partners arrabiata was excellent: the addition of olives was original and gave it a great tang. Go there and find out for yourselves!
I love this place, I use it a lot to feed the brood their lunch. So fresh, clearly prepared on site, great big Italian portions, and proper childrens food - pure and nourishing, really good kids spag bol.Lovely relaxed service, welcoming atmosphere and affordable, and the food tastes great. Also I noticed quite a few people just coming in on their own to order a coffee and chill outside on the terrace in the chilly September sunshine, watching the world go by. Blissful.
