The most delicious Fiorentina steak 🥩. We had also good Parmigiana. It is not expensive as other places around. The service is great, the stuff is friendly and charming. Highly recommend to visit.

AMAZING! The food was the best we had in Florence. It is a hidden gem. Everything was amazing and prices are great! I do recommend to make a reservation or arrive before dinner rush. It’s a go to when coming to Florence!

Really enjoyed the sandwiches here. Its crazy to look at the long lines nearby and this place has more choices and amazing sandwiches. We went 3 times and it was excellent. I preferred the Daniela. The staff was friendly and the sandwiches are huge. Bring your appetite. Very reasonable prices.

We really loved the whole place & the vibe. Cant recommend enough. We needed to book in advance for dinner as its so popular (which is always a good sign)

My partner and I discovered this place after searching online for good but cheap eats in Florence. Gosh, we have been here twice already and will come here again for our final dinner tonight before we fly tomorrow! Service was super friendly and efficient! Everyone was lovely and welcoming, eventhough we dont speak Italian. The food was top notch, highly recommend the beef stew, (gorgeous, if a little salty for my taste), and we also tried their sandwiches, absolutely divine and oh so super filling, come ln an empty stomach!! Much better than next door with the hype train. The tiramisu is very light and one can easily eat a lot! The panna cotta is flavourful and light also! Everything gives a home made vibe and taste, I feel like we tasted the real Florence here. Highly recommend!

Sandwich place: had focaccia sandwiches from this place. I had the lantivegano and my partner had the lignorante. Both were beautiful! I preferred my one because Im not a big fan of truffle but both were so good. The sauces, the roasted vegs, roasted pork, sausage meat, cheese, the bread, mushroom sauce, everything goes so well together. Great price for such wonderfully generous portions! (13 euros for the both of us and a bottle of sparkling water). Nice and friendly staff. Will definitely be back and we cant see how the famous one next door can beat it.Restaurant: if you dont have a reservation, be at the door at 6:30pm when they open. The stew beef is our favourite! The Florentine steak was beautifully cooked; the fat and the meat just melt in your mouth! The pasta dishes were great too and the house wine was beautiful. Again, great portions at great prices and great service. Oh, the desserts! The tiramisu and the Pana cotta were soooo good!Overall we are so happy we found this place! Have been eating here everyday for our week-long holiday in Florence! See you again when we come back to Florence!

We made a reservation a day in advance and it was so worth it. Super kind staff and the food was amazing. The steak was delicious and the artichoke side dish was wonderful.Its so cosy inside and the prices are great.When I called to make a reservation I am sure my Italian was horrible but the woman on the phone was very sweet.

I had the most wonderful evening here.Carlotta was so attentive and made sure I didnt over order. She reccomended the medallion and it was absolutely delicious as was the spinach.The atmosphere in here was friendly and the service was fast.

This place was a true find! Between 4 people, we ordered 4 dishes and the Bistec alla Fiorentina. The puci with meat sauce and mushrooms is the best pasta I have ever had! Lasagna was delicious, the stewed meat with wine sauce was scrumptious, and the steak was Wow! I don’t eat at the same spot when visiting a city, but we came back the next day! Also, call ahead for a reservation if you don’t want to stand in line.

The best steak in Florence. Juicy, fresh and perfectly prepared. The salad was delicious too and it was all huge for two of us. House wine was great too. The staff was very helpful and friendly and all space has special vibe. I think they have the most affordable prices for Fiorentina in all town. Usually you need to make a reservation but we came without it and wait for about 30 minutes for a table.

This place is amazing! I really loved to eat here - everything was perfect. The staff was lovely, they even helped make sure we could finish our dinner in time to see the sunset!Also, all the thoughtfulness aside, the food is incredible!!! We ate the spicy beef stew and the pici with mushrooms and i still daydream about them, such a wonderful experience.

8 of us ate here in August 2022. The food was brilliant and so was the service. A negative was that it was so hot that night we couldnt finish everything and skipped dessert, not sure the air con was doing much and it was 39 degrees outside. Back to the positives, traditional setting, central, well priced. Lasagne was superb. Other dishes we tried were also great. Well worth a visit on a cooler night! I havent taken a star off as the food and service were perfect.

I had the roast pork sandwich and it was amazing! Delicious, generous portions of meat and cheese, and absolutely satisfying. Great value for money! I could only finish half. Would definitely recommend this. Hands down the best thing Ive eaten in Italy so far!

One of the best culinary experiences in our life!! Amazing flavours, fresh, extremely generous portions, lovely staff (especially the English speaking waitress). Do yourself a favour, book ahead and go to this restaurant. Very authentic. The lasagne and cannelloni were exceptional. Sausage and beef for mains also a highlight. Very good restaurant that serves simple and quality food. Its not expensive and portion size are big, excellent value for the price. Staff were very welcoming. For evening better book or walk in early.

Nice, rustic restaurant. We went for a late lunch and luckily got a table (so if you definitely want to go make a reservation). We had the lasagne and cannelloni which were both delicious. We also heard the sandwiches are great so will be back to try those too. Definitely recommend a visit!

Panini gola & Ignorante are great, this place surprised me, because near is one of the most popular places to eat paninis. And I tried La Fettuta, my experience was excellent and I will return.

Wonderful, sweet staff and excellent Suzy! I am traveling by myself and was not able to try the steak Florentine, but was able to try their filet special and it was well worth the €20. I have a big appetite, and brought a big portion of it back with me to have for breakfast.

Easily the best restaurant I’ve ever been to! The amazing food, service, price, portion size, location is unbeatable. Don’t leave without trying the tiramisu 😍🤌🏼 and any of the dishes (they are all amazing!looking forward to coming back to go again and try the dishes left in the menu!!!

Very solid, simple, straight forward quality food. Was looking for some good Italian pasta and this place delivered. The staff was friendly and made it a nice easy dining experience. It was a bit hot sitting in the back corner of the restaurant but not too big of an issue. It definitely got hotter as I was stuffing myself with hot pasta. The pappardelle with meat sauce seemed a tad bit salty but still good.

The food is delicious, the service was quite good, and the price was unbeatable. I dont know what more to say, besides the spread being much to vast for myself, you could easily dine here for €10 a head and the food is very very good. No complaints, I had the leftovers on a picnic.

Great food! The staff were wonderful and service was great. Got the Florentino steak and loved it. Its a lot so bring an appetite. Prices are super reasonable. The sides we got were wonderful as well, definitely try the artichokes.

Rounded up from 4.5. 6 of us ate and ordered 2 steaks, which was slightly more than we needed because two people didnt eat much of the steak. Steak lives up to its positive reputation. All of the sides we had were also very tasty. The waitress we had was fun and engaging. Definitely recommend that you book a reservation. We booked ours a month in advance.

Visited in 2017 and just recommended to a friend who leaves for Florence on Sunday. My wife and I still talk about this meal. The Florentine steak was AMAZING!!!

Great and different place in Florence to not eat every day pasta and pizza. Here you can find authentic tuscan food as "porchetta" or "pollo arosto" or florence t-bone or share a tuscan charcuterie board, accompany with great "patate alla Ghiotta" and good wine.The staff is very helpful and kind and they give you information about everything they offer and recomend the best for you.

This is the restaurant that you must go to when you are in Florence. One of the best restaurants I have ever been to. All the food was amazing and super cheap. The staff was so friendly and even advised us that we might have ordered too much. Go there immediately when they open around 7pm, if not, the seat will be gone very fast.

What a gem of a restaurant! We went there for a late dinner and were amazed by the hospitality of the staff and the tastes. We tried the bistecca fiorentina which was amazing and a lot better priced than other restaurants in the city centre. The artichoke side dish was also amazing and we especially enjoyed the house red wine selection. Totally recommended for everyone! Recommended to make a reservation. We were lucky and found a table the first day but then we went to visit again and was fully booked.

This place has the best pastas!!! So fresh and so tasty. I found this restaurant when I visited in 2020 and did a day trip from Bologna this weekend just so I could have the lasagne and pappadelle again. The two of us ordered three pastas, sides & a tiramisu.Try to book ahead and maybe fill up on mains and dont bother with the random sides.

We found this gem after the reviews online. You wouldn’t even know it was a restaurant if you walked past it too quickly. The servers were very friendly! We got a bottle of house wine, the Florentine steak, white wine artichoke side, and the fruit panna cotta. Everything was so delicious and reasonably priced. One serving of the steak (in the photois enough to feed two people and be really full!

We found this cozy place on Google and going by the ratings decided to give it a try. This place was everything good we read in reviews and more. The ambience was amazing and the food was fantastic. The servers were very friendly and we took their recommendations, we were not disappointed at all.Just an amazing cozy dining experience, all within a very good budget. Just incredible, we were 2, and we paid only 35€ for 3 meals, 2 drinks and one dessert with really good quantity.And the taste... I tried the roasted pork, for real it was one the best I have ever ate.More over, the waitresses we had were so nice. They even advise us to not take too much meals and share, because the quantity were pretty big.For real, its a go-to in Florence.

A very solid pick for a sit down, non-touristy meal in Florence. Good selection of pastas and classic Italian dishes. Counter at the front of the restaurant shows the fresh items available for ordering that day. Worth a pop-in if you need a rest, a cool down, and a hearty meal while visiting the historic part of the city.

Delicious food 😋 the plates are really big. Perfect to share. We take a mix sampler plate with beef and pork, plus 2 beers and 1 water. We payed 25€. Really cheap for the quality and quantity. Its better book a table

I’m so impressed with La Fettunta. I came, it was full…they showed up and added a table for me. The cast of characters working here and eating here added to the delight. The portion was enormous, prices were affordable and the whole experience was a treat. This restaurant is proof that you can have an affordable and excellent meal in Florence, with personality, that will bring you great joy. Stop in and have a lovely time!

Delicious food! Our waitress didnt mind that we were Americans, and she was very gracious with our effort at speaking Italian. As a family of 6 (4 children under 15we shared the steak Florentine, and the Lasagna Bolognese. They sliced the steak before it came to the table, which made it easy to pass out to the kids. The youngest 2 children couldnt get enough of it and they are not usually meat eaters. The Lasagna Bolognese was amazing and delicious. My compliments to the chef! I highly recommend this place!
