La Famille - European restaurant in Marrakech, Morocco
Wonderful staff. Food is good but smaller sized portions
Brilliantly curated vegetarian food with a twist. You wont find your usual dishes here because the team at La Famille has taken time and effort to put together a seasonal menu that is full of flavour.id recommend the eggplant salad and the bread with dips starter. The mint and thyme lemonade was beautiful. Definitely a find and must visit!
Lovely cafe with great vegetarian food, decor/surroundings is memorable.
If you want to drink a tea or eat a cookie its fine but to have lunch its a no no.Extremely limited Menú, not much food on the plate and not very tasty. The staff its not very welcoming ,I would say even a bit arrogant .
I had the worst salad at this restaurant. It was the salad of the day, and none of the ingredients made sense. The grilled eggplant was soggy, there was an overpowering sweet sauce that killed the dish, and there was hummus and yoghurt that just made the whole salad way too rich. But a bad salad I can forgive, however the service was non existent. Staff were unfriendly and unenthusiastic. It was 37 degrees and I was brought room temperature lemonade, I had to ask for ice on the side. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful, but it’s so obvious it’s a venue just to attract people hungry for a pretty Instagram photo instead of people hungry for a decent meal. Don’t waste your time.
Aesthetic was nice but service was slow and reluctant. Food and drinks sounded fancy but we’re unfortunately subpar
The place looks beautiful and has an amazing garden but the food and service are not that great.
Such a gem!! Took a few minutes to locate off the Medina but cutest little date spot and everything was delicious!!
Very nice vegetarian restaurant! The place is super cool!! The food is delicious and also really fresh!
Food might be good, don’t know because we left after they treated me and my friends terribly rude.
Good, fresh vegetarian food. Beautiful, serene location.
Such a Lovely spot, the decoration is simple but so confortable, and beautiful. The food was great, Simple dishes but full of love. Ive enjoyed my meal while sketching. All the people were adorable. It was like a lost oasis that Ive found by accident, while walking around in the small streets of Marrakech. Just go and enjoy a Lovely moment with good music.
beautiful garden, absolutely delicious healthy food options.
This restaurant feels like some sort of oasis/spa in the middle of Marrakech. You can tell it’s catering to tourists with western palettes so it might be good if you have picky eaters. The waitresses are very nice and trilingual, the food tastes fresh with local ingredients, and the outdoor seating is beautiful. Servings are filling and is a great spot if you’re looking to take a break from tangine. I really liked my “alternative” pasta although the pasta stuck together a bit and turned into a chewy block — still delicious.
La Famille it’s a fantastic place! Amazing vegetarian food, lovely and friendly vibe. Highly recommended. :)
Fantastic place with a amazing vibe. I have never experienced a staff working perfectly and laughing together in the meantime in my life so their name as a restaurant is perfectly righteous! Great team ladies 👏🏼💪🏻
Nice and fresh food. The outside area is stunning. You have to share the tables with strangers and you are not notified in advance. A lot of people left for that small detail they dont share.
La Famile’s courtyard is a lovely setting for high end homemade vegetarian. Reserve if you want your own table. We were sat at a shared table which worked out well. The restaurant appeared to be an all women staff/run affair and the service was friendly and prompt. The food was delicious and the plants and greenery made for an oasis like retreat from the busy Marrakech streets. One of the best meals we had during our 17 days in Morocco.
Great quiet and peaceful location not far from the hectic main square. Delicious food and friendly service. Recommended!
The inside garden is really lovely + the food is just out of this world! Feels nice to eat there when you’ve been eating Tajine for 2 weeks
Great home vibe place. The ladies who work there are super welcoming friendly and the food mainly is fantastic.A few. More lunch options would be great, but cant fault this place. Great for lunch, whilst walking through the medina. Very reasonably priced.
Terrible management, embarassing and rude attitude from the manager of the restaurant. We got there as 3 people. We were not very hungry so we wanted to order dessert and coffee. The waitress asked us to order full meal as an obligation, so one of my friends decided to order a meal, others would like to have dessert and coffee. In despite of the waitress embrace our orders, in the mean time the manager forced the waitress to not allowed us to keep sitting whether we not order full meal each person. So embrassing, so rude, so despitefully..
Excellent food. We were so happy. A gem in Marrakech.
Beautiful garden setting with a really good pasta dish. Definitely reserve a table ahead of time as this place gets very busy. However, the service was a bit disorganised and despite having reserved a table and arriving on time, we almost didnt get a table and people had to share tables and move around.
Beautiful little garden. Perfect calm spot within the busy city of Marrakech. The menu is small but well picked (everything is vegetarian)! Loved it
A wonderful restaurant located inside a beautiful garden. This is a perfect relaxation spot, just a few meters from the bustling streets. As for the food: it is fresh and involves a daring usage of different ingredients.
„Veggie menu” consist mostly cheese that can’t be taken out of the dish. The pizza that’s being used in ads on social does not exist
Incredible under every aspect. Amazing food, special location, super nice staff.Deserves Michelines star 🌟!
A wonderful hidden gem. A beautiful garden, very quiet and with awesome food.
Lovely ambiance, cute vegetarian restaurant stashed away in a designy backyard with fireplace. Stylish merchandise available. Service was great. 4 stars because the mains disappointed.
As a meat eater I was very sceptic about my friend proposal to go for lunch to this restaurant. However, it surprised me a lot. Menu is very simple and consist of one starter and three dishes, I took pasta with eggplant and I loved it. Place has really beautiful surroundings, its like oasis among busy Marrakesh streets.
What a wonderful little restaurant in the south of Marrakech. This hidden gem is a must whenever you are visiting the city. The green garden with open kitchen is an oasis in a contrast to the lively streets. The full female staff serves a variety of only vegetarian dishes, always including a pasta, pizza and salad. The desertmenu is also delicious! The restaurant has a little shop with small, beautiful gifts.
Food decent but overpriced for what is and small choice on the menu. As others have said, receptionist lacks any kind of warmth or hospitality and the place is overrun with a couple of feral cats
Food is delicious, environment awesome. We felt like we’re at home! I would recommend that place if you’re vegetarian. (Ps. I think service needs to a bit improvement)
Food was so tasty that I didnt get to take a photo! Dips were my favourite with yummy pizza! Finished off with a delicious coffee! Great vegetarian restaurant! Clean and comfortable! Staff were great!
Cutest place in Marrakech! The pear pizza was amazing and the cakes too!!!! Highly recommended!!
What a lovely small headed vegan restaurant in the middle of medina. Fresh and tasty food. Needs booking, it’s very busy place.
Beautiful location if you want to isolate from the messy Medina for a meal. We really liked that it was vegetarian and still very tasty.
4 stars for the atmosphere, the location and the servers, not for the food. It is a beautiful spot and we were lucky to have a table just for us two. The food itself was average, but beautifully assembled. The cakes were yummy. Note that it is really pricey for what you get (We paid 300 Dh for these plates). Also note that you need to make a reservation.
Beutiful place. And this is it.Sorry, but we wasnt impressed with food.Looks nice, but not tasteful.
Cute little place where serves vegan dishes, its very different than all the other typical moroccan restaurants in the medina. If you want something light and creative yet delicious, this is the place. Tables are limited so its better to book in advance.Girl power! :)
If I could I would give 0 stars. Went there the first time and couldn’t get a place so made a reservation for our last day. Were placed at a table with 4 other people and wanted to order cake and tea. We weren’t allowed because it’s not a full „meal“. Got asked to leave because we didn’t want to order more. Embarrassing.
Very nice garden to sit and eat, good food
Beautiful garden and lovely fresh food. Also a peaceful haven away from the busy medina streets.
Beautiful, peaceful, and wonderful cafe/restaurant hidden behind a small door and sign in the heart of the Médina. So glad we found this, and fortunate to find seats without a reservation. I would come here again in a heartbeat. ❤️
Lovely place with a beautiful garden and staff. Foods are really different and tasty. Theyre usually fully booked for all day so reserve a table in advance
Beautiful spot soiled by RUDE & TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT I called three times to confirm our reservation which was a nightmare because each time they could not find it. When we arrived we were told by a rude hostess we didnt have a reservation. The French owner was right there and didnt seem to bother. After proving I had called countless times, they told us they ran out of food and all we could have was a salad and a slice of cake that had sat in the sun for hours. We were served Nespresso coffee and hot water with tea bags!! I approached the owner to give her some feedback and she was unapologetic and kept telling me she is running a restaurant with a unique concept and its normal to run out of food. The sanitary conditions they cook in are questionable too. The staff is straight RUDE and unfriendly.
Great little spot to have lunch in the center of the Medina. Very calming and a good break from the madness. Food is excellent! Highly recommend, call ahead for a reservation, gets full very quickly.
Well decorated and food flavors. Must have a reservation and not open for dinner.
Lovely place just off a busy road, it is the perfect place to relax and have a nice drink or a treat during the day. The place is nicely furnished and prepared, the French owner very charismatic and the stuff helpful and professional
