Stayed in the haveli. Nice little 2 bed 2 bath apartment with sun room and common area. Just a short walk to the beach and a short ride to main strip. Map in common area that shows things close by.

Best place to stay when visiting Puerto Rico

This place is so underrated! at first I was trying to book with their dream inn hotel which is nicer however they had no space available so they recommended me this one. At first I hesitated not sure I would like it, but the customer service was so good (joeyI think is his name so booked it.The place is like a very nice simple home. it had a living room kitchen and even a little patio in the back. yes it was hot, but is Puerto Rico what do people expect? lol the room did have a great air conditioner so we slept comfortable. overall it was awesome and though everything was clean. If your a simple guy like me that just wants a quiet comfortable place to sleep because lets be real vacation is to go have fun and explore not stay in the place all day then this is the place for you.. I would highly recommend it and I will book again if I come back to Puerto Rico

For starters.... The customer service is excellent here. Prior to arrival I had many issues. I called and Everytime I called someone answered and without hesitation answered all of my questions and made me feel at ease. They are truly the reason Ill even give this place 3 stars. The unit was well equipt . Had all the essential needs of home. However air conditioning was a huge issue. The bedroom had a unit but the rest of the apartment was blazing hot. The bedroom had no TV but the family room did but it was impossible to watch as there was no AC unit. Cleanliness was also concerning. There were spider webs everywhere and the unit smelled of a dirty mop. The garden was tranquil but the pond was full of mold and moss. And last but not least the neighborhood is horrible. Trash everywhere homeless people on every corner and scary! Im sure Ill never stay here again.

So far this is a very nice place. Its gated and so I feel safe. Just things to know you will be right in the thick of where the action is! La Placita is right around the corner. We are very close to bars, hang outs, eateries etc. At night its re a lay quiet beginning around midnight and we were actually on a very quiet block so no noise. Great price, location and the beach was right down the block! The bed is a bit hard, and we didnt have any rags only towels. They did leave beach towels which was great!

Charming. Breezy. Comfy! Stayed at La Esmeralda in Sept. 2019 and loved the spacious feel of our apt ‘La Musa’. We were pleasantly surprised! The apt was flooded in light (with curtains if neededand awesome cross ventilation, so we never turned on the a/c. The bedroom was cozy with a big comfortable bed, and there were two full bathrooms! Kitchen had basic cooking tools and a deck outside for alfresco dining and a sliver of sea view. Awesome location to the beach, restaurants and nightlife, but tucked away on a quiet side street with parking. Two smart TVs and an awesome host (who subsequently went out of his way to help is find additional lodging and more,made for a great experience. 10 mins from the airport. Highly recommend.

Love this place !! Very cute little apartment style with literally everything one might want or need!! Also nice and close to a bunch of restaurants, bars and literally 8 minute walk to the beach! — which is featured on a little map inside of the apartment. Highly recommended!

We stayed here for 4 days and would highly recommend it. The space felt safe, was very clean and had all the basic amenities. Location was close to a lot of good restaurants and sight seeing spots. Good parking facility is added bonus.

Absolutely lovely. This place is everything a hotel experience should be and then some! The rooms (apartmentsare spacious and clean. The location is the best for nightlife, shopping and dining. The owners are very friendly and exceeded my expectations for hospitality.I highly recommend staying at La Esmeralda on your trip to Puerto Rico! We will be coming back and can’t wait to book with them again!

Beautiful and convenient looking forward to our next visit

This place rocks! So accommodating and willing to help you with anything. When we went we thought it would be better to stay in a name brand hotel, however, we were one hour late and they gave our room away. We were able to quickly book this cute little apartment and I am so glad we did! 2 minute walk to the ocean, about 10 minutes away from downtown. If you are trying to immerse yourself in the culture, this is the perfect place to stay. Highly recommend!

I was there for a bike polo tournament and la esmeralda was across the street. Everything was very clean inside rooms, also they had two bathrooms!!! Will be stay here again next year.

Fast check in. We stayed at Garnet Room. Quiet.Clean. Convenient small kitchen. AC and hot water. Two complimentary bottles of water. Check in at 3. Check out at 11:00. Two blocks from the beach. A mile from Kasalta bakery.
