Look, just eat there. Its probably the best Italian youll find in the Ohio valley area. Also, goat cheese medallions are fantastic. The bread is always the perfect crunch to soft ratio and the lamb cut is divine.

This was a really odd experience. First of all, when we came in, the person who I believe was the owner was interviewing someone who had applied to work in the kitchen. The interview seemed hostile until the staff member told the owner he was looking for $12hr and the owner told him she refused to pay less than $15hr. So as odd as it was to hear the whole interview happening, it was positive to know that starting wage in their kitchen is a decent wage for the area.The food was a price that Id expect for upscale Italian dining, though the food that came was subpar. The bread seemed stale. The salad with house dressing was nice. I ordered mine with goat cheese, which came deep fried, so that was a surprise to me, thiugh it tasted nice. My wife enjoyed the chicken parmesan. I ordered the seafood pasta with red sauce and found most of the seafood to not taste fresh.Service was good.

Got take out here twice to take to tailgate for concerts at StatLake. Food is incredible. Pizza is awesome! Also had the meatballs and salads. Legit worth our 90 minute drive alone. Few of us got fresh cookies Togo and I got the peanutbutter cheesecake. To.die.forThis place is a MUST!!

Excellent food, great service. We ordered the fettuccine Alfredo, the special of the day, the eggplant parmesan, a capresse salad, and the bruschetta. All were fresh, the sauces delicious. Well worth the money.

I would give this place more stars if I could. Everything we ordered was fantastic. Pizza was excellent. Chicken parm with pasta incredible. Shrimp stuffed with crab oh my my. Definitely going back again. I need to try the meatballs next time. Highly recommend this place. Everything is made fresh.

The food was over all good but we waited forever and they weren’t very busy. Our waitress was very rude & didn’t even come back to ask us in between our food if we needed anything .

Usually the food is very good a bit pricey but good.. But tonight it was NOT the lobster ravioli was very hard and the pink sauce did not taste the same! The chicken parm was very over cooked and hard. Dissatisfied definitely

We had my moms 60th Birthday dinner there. They were VERY easy to work with. Setting up a limited menu was a breeze. Our service staff was very attentive and provided excellent service. The food was wonderful! Highly recommend!

I rated this a 3 because: it is Saturday and we called for takeout orders from work. They refused to take an order for a meatball Sub that is listed on menu as a lunch item Tuesday-Saturday starting at 11. I questioned why and was told because Mama said she wasn’t serving lunch items. Really??? The order was changed to something else but if that is the case take lunch items off menu. We had over $100 in food that we picked up and not one napkin or fork or knife or anything else was sent. Again REALLY? The food was amazing as always but service and attitudes like that will keep me from ordering from them again.

I purchased a Sicilian pizza special today (April 14th 2022 with extra cheese. 12 cuts. Ive eaten multiple times, dine in, at your restaurant, and everything was always excellent and delicious. Today I decided to try take out. The pizza looked great, overflowing with extra cheese. But surprisingly my first bite, wasnt what I expected. I do agree the price was right, but the taste wasnt there. The only thing I liked was the extra cheese. The crust was ok, and the sauce didnt have the tang and sweetness ,I would expect. A very odd aftertaste. Honestly I would rate this pizza, 1 step above school cafeteria pizza. Ive tried pizza all over the world, including Naples, Italy. Maybe a regular thin crust might be better but, for my future visits, your Sicilian pizza is off my favorite list.Michael J Mathias

My husband took me here for our 12th anniversary tonight. It was a lovely place, with a cozy sort of environment. It was very clean, and all the servers were super polite and friendly. We had the pleasure of having Amber, and a delightful young busman catering to our needs. We ordered these little rice balls and very tasty mozzarella sticks to start. Then he chose lamb chops and I chose the Chicken Siciliano. They staggered everything a little, so it was almost like having a 4 course meal in this cute little place. The food was magnificent, we tried a bit of each others and just... between color, freshness, and taste, we were highly impressed and I applaud my husbands choice for our date. Of course, I couldnt resist the Tiramisu for desert and wish La Cucina was about way back when I was pregnant and craving it! It was beyond a delightful evening.

This is by far the best Italian restaurant in weirton and surrounding citys, all the food was hot when brought out, everything had amazing flavors, and it all was very good sized dishes, the dine is is clean and had a nice atmosphere, our waitress was fantastic, she did a great job spoke out the specials very well, she keep our drinks filled and out table cleaned, checked up on us multiple times, she did a 10/10 job and so did the chef 10/10 I will not go to any other Italian restaurants from now on. Very very please

Wife and I have enjoyed both lunch and dinner on multiple occasions and have been very pleased with the service and the food is spectacular! The Pizza, thin and crispy, is always perfect. We are convinced it is the best, we look no further. They will not disappoint.

Good food, great atmosphere... I would have probably given it 4 stars. I wasnt loving the bread... but the wife insists on 5 stars... you know who wins...

The three stars is for the service today, but the food is a definite five. Today we had Lori as a server and the experience was definitely different from Diedra’s Diedra is by far a great server with great interpersonal skills and personality. We will now ask for Diedra which we will do moving forward to ensure a great experience. This place is amazing with their regular menu and a great variety of daily specials. We will be back soon but wanted to share our recent dining experience.

I love eating their pizza because of the thin crust, the great pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, sausage, pepperoni oh it tastes so good. The Lasagna is also the best. If you like wine try the pomegranate sangria.

I went to dinner with my Dad here for his birthday. I dare say this was probably the best food that either of us have ever had. Once we tried the Mozzarella sticks we ordered more than we could ever handle. I have never seen him happier. It is a little pricey, but you are paying for quality. This is the best quality in the area. Hands down. Go there and ask for Deidra. She was phenomenal. I will 200% be going back. Most other restaurants are dead to me now.

The owners are the sweetest people. This is where you want to go for lunch and dinner with your entire family. Made to order pasta, super delicious sauces and fresh seafood. Hand tossed pizza and the best side salad in the Ohio Valley, hands down! They make the lightest, most sublime lemon chiffon cake and perfect espresso. We adore the owners who treat everyone like Familia.

I got takeout from here twice. Each time it was excellent. The 2nd time, I placed my takeout order inside. I left and came back but knew the food would still take some time to make. The workers make sure I was taken care of multiple times throughout my visit. Excellent food and excellent service. If youre in the Weirton area, be sure to go to La Cucina. You will not be disappointed.

I have eaten all around the world. I truly understand a business being short staffed, or having unforeseen issues arising.But when management and employees are making jokes about being grateful of not having enough food for new customers, and close the doors ASAP. That is just sad.I understand that there are not many nice restaurants in the area, and if we were the only couple that heard the derogatory remarks, it would be different.

Everything was absolutely amazing! The fried ravioli for an appetizer was incredible. We had a salad and lasagna and omg I was extremely impressed. Service was beyond amazing. We definelty will be recommending to our family and friends. We will be back again. Thank you for the amazing food.

My wife and I had fried zucchini for app..Crab stuffed Salmon and Scallops for our dinner.. and a big piece of peanut butter cheesecake for dessert. Everything was flavorful and fresh. Waitress was informative and friendly. All in all it was a great first time experience that we will definitely try again.If I had to make 1 complaint, I would say it was a little pricey... but when the food, service, and atmosphere compliment each other, I dont mind paying more.

2nd time here and had the pasta special with shrimp that was delicious! Started with the calamari appetizer and it was SO good! Took canolli to go. Every one in my family was super pleased. We are extremely picky when eating Italian out since we are Italian and love our home cooked meals, but this is truly as authentic as it gets! Loved everything! Service, food, everything was wonderful! Mangia! 😋😍

Ordered takeout last and was pleasantly surprised. The food was absolutely fantastic and will be dining there again. I honestly didn’t think there was good Italian restaurant in Weirton.When I picked our food up there was an organized group of staff. Extremely polite and the owner was truly orchestrating the dinner rush. Smells were amazing and the spot looks cozy. Definitely not a corporate run Olive Garden (grossor something of the sort. In addition, prices were super reasonable!I haven’t found anything remotely close to true Italian food in Weirton and will be frequenting this ristorante regularly.

Im from Chicago and this is my 2nd time here in 4 weeks. I absolutelove the food and the service is amazing. The waitresses are the nicest most informed ppl I know. I recommend this place to anyone riding thru west virginia.

This restaurant is a really great place! I cant say enough about how good the food is.on our last visit tonight valentines day we made reservations for 630pm and we were seated at exactly 630pm cant say enough about how sweet our waitress was!she told us about all the specials suggested great desserts kept us great on drinks...just a really nice place to enjoy the best Italian food in this area!

This is a great small restaurant. There is a great selection of Italian dishes. I wouldnt say it is traditional Italian or authentic Italian but rather like the kind of Italian your mom makes. It is a cute little place. Nice staff.

As someone who grew up thinking Italian food was just "normal everyday food" this place blew me out of the water. My dad and I stopped in for a late lunch and could not have been happier. The staff was friendly and the service was fast. Everything we had was delicious, fresh and made like you would for friends and family. Highly recommend and cant wait to go back!

Here on business...what a huge gem we discovered here in Weirton, WV. I lived in Italy for three years and ate at the best Italian restaurants. Eating what “Mama” (from Sicilymade here transported me back and I still have to say this is perhaps the best Italian food I have ever eaten. Perfectly cooked (scallops and homemade lobster ravioli+ linguini pescatore...meraviglioso! Grazie tante!

I havent been here in a while. The last time we came it wasnt the greatest. Today, however, it was amazing in all categories. Service was fantastic. Food was so hot and fresh. Bread was delicious. You can tell they take such pride in their business and they want their customers to love their experience. There was even a guy playing a button box.

My favorite red sauce ever, has a nice spice to it. Meatballs are big. Plate was good for two meals and reasonable price. Round pizza looks amazing and probably will eat that next time. Very busy at 6 on Friday and had to be at least 4 parties waiting for tables.
