La Cubanita in San Juan

Perfectly made drink. Tasted delicious!

I mean…the drinks were good…but this place was a bit rough around the edges. The guy working there was cleaning the floors and was putting the nasty bucket of mop water on the counter. On the drink stand. Right next to us. (See filthy red bucket in photo right next to the clean glasses.also they had a massive fruit fly infestation. They were covering everything. Maybe we found them on a bad day since all the other reviews are amazing but dang. Can’t get past the mop water.

Quaint, hip vibe. Craft cocktails are top notch, bartender made great recs. Daiquiri was as it should be.

Awesome place! Great drinks and atmosphere. Our bartender, John, played awesome music and gave us good service and lively conversation. We went back 3 times! Last visit he mixed us a unique bartender’s choice drink. We had a great time hanging here.

A hidden gem! Small bar with such a groovy vibe. John, our bartender, served us some incredible cocktails and was a hoot to chat with. Highly recommended.

I was here a week ago and overall it was ok. the bartender with the mustache has attitude, I asked the lady bartender to turn up the music and she said no cause they could get a fine for loud music. The bar next door has the music so loud can barely listen to the music in La Cubanita.

Best drinks in San Juan. If you like craft cocktails, this is your place. Great ambiance. Love the Cuban music.

Bartenders were fantastic! Drinks were reasonable and well made. The womens bathroom could use an overhaul. It was dirty, the toilet didnt work, and a hole in the floor in front of the toilet. However my expectations were low because it was kind of a dive bar.

Really cool little place, good cocktails, great vibe. Menu had a bit of confusion, but all good in the end, would definitely go back.

Customer service is lacking. Time was spent talking amongst themselves and heavily drinking rather than tending to customers. The manager and bartender forgot about my food multiple times, had to remind them about 3 times that ordered. They would continue to forget to go back to kitchen but always come back with drinks for themselves.This isn’t the place to go if you’re looking for fast, considerate service.

Love the decor. Bartenders were entertaining and nice. They have Vegan options! Food was served quick and was delicious. Drinks were excellent.

I ordered empanadas and this were good but the daiquiris were plain, like a lemonade with maybe a little bit of rum. Because of the pandemic they only have one person at the bar. They do play nice music but you can’t dance inside.

Our bartender was so awesome. Very cool, low key spot. Quiet enough to be able to hear your conversation but loud enough for it to be drowned out. The staff was on top of sanitizing prior to you taking a seat. Window seat is great for people watching

The bartenders here, in the times that I have visited, are kind of rude. Aside from that, the drinks are out of this world! World class mixology, beautiful garnishes. The atmosphere is top notch. Not a place you want to miss.

If you want to listen to Salsa, this is your place to visit. Place is small, but totally worth it if youre with the right people. Is often full of tourists.

Hubby and I were looking for a cozy bar with relaxing music and we found this place. At first is just a bar but if you keep walking to the back, there is a hidden bar with lights dimmed and candles. I loved this place! The bartender was super nice. We had a great time!

Bad service. Bartender didnt even wanted to be there. I miss the colmado feeling, not because of the convenience store concept but because of the service and pueblerino concept. This place lacks a lot, especially a good service.Also, the original cubanita was a place for having a drink, the new admin should forget about the food an prioritize on serving good drinks on an inviting ambience. I guess they are only serving as a tourist trap

Jose was an amazing bartender the drink and the hospitality was amazing I would recommend 10/10 and Kilani was great her brujería botanica drink was off the charts 10/10 def. Coming back!

I can not say enough good things about our bartender, Keelani. She really pours her heart and soul into her specialty drinks. She greeted us with humor and smile. 10 out of 10. ❤️🇵🇷

Excellent bar with four rooms with different music and different vibes. Fantastic staff! They make you feel at home and make excellent drinks. I highly recommend joining the party. Oh and lots of dancing too.

Such good drinks and fun! Strongly suggest for any out of towner trying to get a real sense of PR and the locals.

This place is located inside the Factoria. Tiny bar with some of the most amazing drinks. If you get a chance, try the Lavander mule! You will thank me later.

My favorite bar in OSJ! Eric the bartender, who works in the back(El Desvio), created the cocktail menu. A real master of his craft.

Amazing place. Bartender made us specialized drinks from descriptions of the flavors we like for &9 per drink.Not a place to get wasted quickly at. If you like excellent cocktails, hand crafted by a professional youll like this.

Amazing atmosphere! You can dance until 4 a.m., their drinks are great, and everyone is friendly. This seems to be a place where everyone from the neighborhood gets together. This is a super fun place.

Best bar in the Area. Great Bar, Great Bartenders, Great Bouncer Cool atmosphere. I need to learn salsa for my return!

Great selection of microbreweries beers. Bar service is excellent! Place is cozy!
