Tallarin Verde with Steak:Steak was good.Tallarin verde did not have authentic flavor and ingredients.Fried Fish / Pescado frito:Fish was ok, rice was not edible."Rotisserie Chicken with rice and beans":Not Peruvian Rotisserie chicken, chicken, rice and beans were bland.Maduros: Good.Overall Disappointed.Dont call your restaurant "Peruvian" if you dont know how to cook Peruvian food.

Staff was beyond embracing,and polite.Food was outstanding.You can make reservations but we just walked in and I were accommodated.Awesome place ,great staff ,fantastic food .Full bar for the drinking crowd ,nice drinks .

I came here after read the reviews and though its good. Service is nice and thats why they automatically charge 20% gratuity in the receipt. They also charged 4% credit cards fee and the waiter never mentioned about it. This is ridiculous. The food portion is decent BUT 6 of us think the food is so so. The seafood is not too freshef but most importantly is food are not tasty. They have bad chefs. Hence 1 star just for the service. Dont waste your time here.

La Chacra is a gem in Peruvian cuisine and drinks. The food and drinks were great. The portions that were served were just right, not too much nor too little. The staff were attentive and helpful. My waiter was fantastic in recommending things and describing the specials of that day. The only nitpick is that the restaurant is a bit small but its worth going.

Any take out delivery always missing you pay for small portions of rice and beans $6.00 extra after you come out to eat no bean when you call sorry that the response

Food and staff are great!!! There were just some flies that would leave us alone. But overall, this is a great place to go.

Food came 40 min after delivery guy called to tell me he was outside. Restaurant didn’t pick up the phone for 25 min, when they did they said sorry and hung up on me. Food came ice cold, no one even tried to make things right , offer a 10% off next time or free dessert anything. Super upset !

Very awesome! Great atmosphere, bartender from Venezuela, what an incredible gentlemen. I come all the way from Bensonhurst. This is the place I’ll take my friends and family for a pleasent end of week treat :). Will continue coming!

Wow! It is incredible how disgusting the food is turning here. Before, it used to be good. Recently I ordered different things such as chicken soup, ceviche and others and its being a waste of money. The prices do not match with the food.

Service and food was amazing here but there is no ac . A shame such great customer service but no air to accommodate fine dining . Please upgrade air conditioner it took away from the experience .

Unfortunately that has all changed. We entered and were somewhat greeted by the bartender, he told us to sit wherever, we waited at least 5 minutes before we were greeted by a waiter, who brought menus and then we finally had the waitress which in my opinion was lacking customer service skills and must have had the worst attitude and energy that day Ive ever seen she clearly did not want to be there and at that point neither did we. But since we were hungry and more interested in the food we ordered and got through with it. We waited a good 45 mins or more Id say till we received our food. The chicken was undercooked almost raw and the overall experience was a bust. It safe to say we wont be back, but at least theyll read and fix themselves before they lose more customers.

I have been coming to this location between the Fall of 2020 and yesterday, about 5 to 7 times total. I have been on dates and brought family here, and spent good money everytime.Yesterday afternoon however, I should have turned around and left when I came in and smelled plumbing throughout the establishment. I went with my sister and nephew and except for one other table at the front, was seated right by the kitchen window, where we waited a solid five minutes for our waitress, who didnt even look at us until she gathered all her utensils to provide to the table. I ordered an appetizer and my sister and I respectively ordered 1/4 chicken with fries. I skipped on the salad.The appetizer, fried calamari was great so long as you use the mayo based sauce youre given. It was a little greasy but freshly fried, so theres that. Ask for lime and that should suffice for the lack of flavor. So, thats the one star, which should be HALF.My entree, a chicken leg/thigh (dark meatwas pink but I thought nothing of it because sometimes chicken appears that way but is still cooked. NEVERMIND, THE LEG WAS RUBBERY AS H*LL! Not to mention the chicken itself was saltier than usual, but whatever, I doused it with the green sauce and ate, as I was hungry EXCEPT THE LEG. My sisters breast was also undercooked, and I apologized on the restaurants behalf because this has never happened here before.By then, I desperately wanted the check and to leave and our waitress kept herself busy by walking around the front and ignoring us. I asked the barback for the check and another server brought it to us. IT WASNT EVEN BUSY, LIKE WE WE NEVER ASKED HOW EVERYTHING WAS TO SAY YHE LEAST.I did not tip, as the service was very poor and lacking. Oh, and I worked in hospitality for 11 years in NYC as well and come from a family that owns their own small business, so PLEASE, know that I know and VALUE good service when I see and receive it.My only regret is I didnt snap a pic of my PINK AND RUBBERY CHICKEN that was also SALTY, but I just wanted to leave by then.

Came here for the second time and it’s still as tasty as I remembered. We always get the ~$40 combo which is enough to feed 2-3 people. We also ordered a pisco which was OK, but the food was really the highlight here. Great vibe and friendly wait staff.

That green sauce. Tender steak with fresh made in house pasta. Delicious! Wish I was hungrier. Want to try more dishes on the menu. Got extra spicy fish ceviche with some green sauce to go after the meal.

Very delicious food. Excellent prices! Location is nice and good service. I always buy and always have a great experience, however I do have to comment about my last order, I order the super combo which has 2 whole chickens and it should be enough for more than 4 ppl but it only includes a small rice a small portion of beans, fries, salad and sweet plantains. For 2 whole chickens and the price of this combo, it should include another portion of rice, another portion of beans and a soda. Other than that very good place.

I really love this place. I’ve been here twice so far. Between the awesome service, great atmosphere, delicious food, and great rates- this has easily become my new favorite restaurant. The wait has been short and the staff is super sweet and friendly.I can’t wait to come back and try their dessert menu and coffee. It all looks so delicious!

So disappointed in the food after reading all good reviews. I was in Peru recently and this doesn’t taste like a decent Peruvian food. “Papa Relleno” potato had fried onion inside- and the description says no onion. It was nothing like I had in Peru and reminded me of Russian or Polish cheap pierogies. Wouldn’t pay $1 for it-just threw it away. I ordered “mild ceviche” and it came back “very spicy”. The only reason I give 2 stars is because the delivery was quick.

Ordered Ceviche Mixto for seamless delivery. It was fast, and yummy! The ceviche was flavorful with fresh seafood. Love it!

Great Peruvian food. Everything is fresh and tasty. My hubby loves their roasted chicken with the delicious green sauce. I love the ceviche mixto. This is the place to go or order from if youre in a mood for good food.

Just a hidden gem man, BUT! I would like to start this review by commending and recognizing the manager, THOMAS, for his excellent service and attention to detail. He makes our experience AMAZING every time we visit. We have had parties of over 20 people to as little of just 2 of us, and the service has always been top notch. Now onto the food....it is just so delicious man. From the chicken to the maduros to the chicharron de pescado (fried fish)...it really never disappoints. I highly recommend La Chacra for all of your Peruvian food needs, and the drinks are just as great! My only reommendations would be a later and longer Happy Hour to better compete with those around, but nevertheless, you guys ROCK are still the best! Cheers! And continued success!

Ok this place is pretty tasty. I love me some rotisserie chicken! The times I’ve gotten the chicken here it’s been very good. The beans and rice are also yummy! 😊

Overpriced. Bad service. $20+ for essentially a plate of rice and yucca with 3 bites of meat. Waiter never bothered to put in the drink and appetizer order. This restaurant is a hose job.

Overall it was pretty goid but with the way they packaged my diver order the food got tosses around. They use the cheap aluminum round trays vs. the hard plastic so my food was all messed up. Fries were under done, chicken was good, hot sauce was great,not enough sauce over the potatoes.

Peruvians have mastered rotisserie chicken and La Chacra shows this of nicely. The rotisserie chicken is cooked to perfection without being dry or greasy. Slather in the amazing ajiverde (green sauceand you’re in heaven. The Chacra combo is a feast - whole chicken, avocado salad, yellow rice and beans, salchipapas (fries with hot dogsand maduros (sweet plantains). Enough for 4 people or two very hungry Incas.

La Chacra is a fantastic place to eat. No matter what time, I would suggest arriving early because by 7pm, it will be full. The Chicharron de pescado (fried pipes of fishis to die for. It seems they maybe short staffed but the guys there runaround trying to take care of all of their patrons. Their menu is varied and you can have their ceviches with choclo. On the table when you 1st sit, they bring a small bowl of plantain chips with the dried corn pieces, they serve it with a spicy green sauce which is so good. For drinks, they have varieties of pisco sours, sangria, and they have a full bar.Their menu have all sorts of items, rotisserie chickens, beef, seafood, soups, salads, ceviches and great appetizers! Everything I have tried here is flavorful and the service is excellent. You certainly need to find this hole in the wall to dine. Make sure youncome early to find a spot since covid has put restrictions on the number of patrons dining at the same time.

Got take out. They don’t know how to package their food well. One of the beans was open. Everything/trays was covered in beans. I asked for extra green sauce for my order. The person taking the order confirmed that he will give me 4 sauces. I got only 2.

The food was excellent. I will be going back. The rotisserie chicken the paella and ceviche were on point and very well presented.

Three weeks ago I gave a five star review, Ive been back two more times and the food keeps getting worse. The last two weeks the food has been served at room temperature almost as if the food is precooked. No sign of steam coming from anything served. The gravies are super salty like theyve been cooking for several days and most the liquid has evaporated, making the sauce salty. The shrimps where very chewy (over cookedthe clam (one per servinghad no clam, the mussel (two per servinghad no mussel. What a shame, I will never return again.The service is splendid, and the food is as good as you can get. Have gone twice and no doubt will return many more times. The only complain is the "Chicharon" ( chicken & fish, fried skinits really pieces at chicken or fish deep fried. It should not be called Chicharon, very misleading. Ive asked for coffee twice and twice was told they had none, but did have cappuccino. Hhmmmm know that I write this review Im wondering If this is some sort of ploy. Lets hope they have coffee on my next visit.

We have been coming to this Brooklyn jewel for years and it had never disappoint us, the food its super fresh and exquisitely delicious worth our 1hr trip from Westchester everytime we visit my mother there. DO NOT MISS THE JALEA!!! Its one of the best I ever had and their traditional "pollo a la brasa" simply outstanding and saturated with and exceptional flavor that will just take your tastebuds to heaven. The only reason it doesnt get 5 stars is because the service lacks the magic of their food.

Great place for Peruvian food in western part of Brooklyn. The Skirt Steak is very good. I had the Pescado Frito on my second time around. The fish with the onion and tomato lime juice was very yummy. The maduros, yucca, rice, and the spicy green sauce are very very good. The peach juice was good too. All a must try. The chicken with the pasta was super soft and tender. Price seems be correctly priced, in the teens for main dishes.

Good service, good environment and theres alcohol. Food is great too, some may be in the saltier side for my preference but overall very good.

Food was amazing, first time Ive ever had Peruvian food and it did not disappoint. The service was even better, so incredibly helpful with everything, especially helping me choose from the menu. And even made recommendation on how to eat the food in a more traditional Peruvian way. They really went out of there way. The roast chicken was incredibly flavorful and moist, the steak was cooked perfectly and the green pasta had a good chew. But it was that ceviche that will undoubtedly bring me back. Hands down the best ceviche Ive ever had, I ordered it spicy and it was the ideal level of spice and everything in it tasted wonderful and blended together which is hard to expect when there was sweet potato, fish, and popped corn in the same dish.

Only good if you eat in. Owner is very friendly. Food is really good and authentic. Wait time is a bit slow. Waiters arent efficient.
