La Casa de Chi-chi - Meal Delivery in Villa Carlos Paz, Argentina
I love coming to this location for the best Empanadas. We came to visit our family and went to two other Colombian restaurants to eat. They werent so good in flavor. But this place, this one is by far my favorite. Great seasoning and flavor. Love this place.
The worst. Never come across anything like it. Never ordered from here but wanted to give it a try.I ordered fish en criolla and its bad its a safety issue. Very smelly, as soon s i opened my front door to recieve it i knew something wasnt right. It shouldnt smell bad at my door!Rice is old and like glue. I also ordered chicken and beef empanadas the outside is hard and the filling in both taste off and its old. Not fresh at all at this place I can tell.My dish was supposed to come with salad and beans. There is only liquid, and just a few beans. Salad for some reason its pasta salad with cut up hot dog??????? I dont understand.
No A.C Bad service.cold food. 4 servers all bunched up by the kitchen and not one came to clear the table or ask if we needed anything. I was missing part of my order I never received my coffee that came with my breakfast. Also had to pay 18% tip that was not earned. Wont be back.
Molto Bueno!!! You get a lot of delicious food for the price. Friendly service!
I have been coming here for a few years. They never disappoint!!
I ordered the arepa de chocolo, which looked delicious in pictures, but what I was served was dry and had shredded cheese on top, the almohabana was dry. The tamal was huge.... The masa was tasty but it hardly had anything inside, just chicken and some other small stuff, but it was mostly masa. They also charge you 4% more of the overall price if you pay with a credit card. Not impressed with the place.
Great service! The food was cheap and delicious- and we both ate a meal and took pandebonos from the bakery to go.
Good service, the food is very tasty and the chicharrón is one of the best in South Florida.
Great food and the best bakery in the zone. I cant say is the best Colombian restaurant, but it is in my top 10. Fully recommended if you want to eat something similar to the country.
If you want delicious Colombian. Food.la.casa.del.peinado.is.your.best.option.
Always a good decision to visit, and feel you are eating real Colombian food, without to mention the excellent prices
Delicious Colombian cuisine!
At the first time, the food was good and excelente price. Now the portions are smaller y the price is higher, and service is too slow. Additionally, you are forced to give tips. It is illegal in Florida. Tips are voluntary, it is a way to qualify the service that you receive. It is sad that a business while is growing is good, bot when it is accredited is going down
HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! Food was ok, service was horrible, 4 girls working and took 3 hours for us from start to end, service is so poor, and they have an 18% tip already included in the bill plus 3.85% for credit card charge. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!
I get a cantina menu, and it is an excellent price, and the food is good. I recommend this place because if you work in the area and you dont want to waste too much money, this is the place you need. Because the services are fast, the food is cheap and good.
I used to love this place. I would go with my Mexican friends, the food was great and the service was excelent. This time, however, I went with an American friend (I myself am American and speak fluent Spanishso that she could get some good food and practice her Spanish, and we were shocked at the lousy treatment we received. No one greeted us or acknowledged our presence in any way. We had to grab our own menus (no one gave us any), the waitress took forever to come to us and when she finally did, she rushed us. She forgot to bring us the drinks we ordered and we had to flag her down just to remind her.If the store had been busy I would have understood, but there werent a lot of customers. I noticed that the waitress was friendly and warm to the other, Hispanic customers - greeting each one who came and visiting their tables just to check on them.I was very upset about the poor service. The food was really good, but I had came so that my friend could meet latin people and see what they are like (as the culture is very friendly and open). This was a humilliating and over all painful experience, and I know that I will not be going back again.
If I could I would give it 0 stars, first they have no air conditioning in an 87 degree weather, 2nd the space is very limited, 3rd food was tasteless, you couldnt even taste the salt. 4th you get charged an extra amount for using a credit card AND THE WAITRESS DECIDED TO TO GIVE HERSELF 18% of tip which to be honest she did not deserve!
First time customer, the food was good, prices are very reasonable and the staff is friendly. The reason I’m giving a 2 star is because they impose a 3.85 percent when you pay with a credit card. The menu encourage you to pay in cash, I think that they shouldn’t charge the customer that extra money, it’s very unusual nowadays to carry cash in our wallets.
Nice place, with great service. the food is very tasty.
The steak was fenomenal, service excellent. Buñuelos and pan de bono delicious, the pan con queso the best! Price wise, good. I recommend this place.
I fresh food and tasty. I love spinach so much, full of flavor. The pitch in are very generous🥐🧀👍☺❤
I always buy the “cantina” daily menu every week. Meal portions are large. That is something that keeps me going back to this specific place. If there is something from the menu you are not satisfied with, you can ask to have it substituted with something else. For instance, if you don’t eat fried fish, you can ask them to grill the fish for you or for them to give you a meat of your choice. Henry, the owner, and the waitresses are very attentive people. Don’t forget to ask for the daily complementary ice cream cup!
Delicious Colombian restaurant with large portions, and a wide variety of traditional dishes. We went for breakfast and ordered the calentado, tamal, and sancocho. The tamal reminded me of christmas morning 😊. I wish we lived closer so we could continue bouncing around the menu! They were very busy on a Sunday with to go orders. It seemed like 2 servers were attending all the tables plus the to go orders! They should considering getting them some help for the rush.
Amazing food, extremely fresh and well made, cant stop coming back, been here 5 times in one week since finding out about it.
I been going to this place for a list 8 years this week I order 2 times there lately there beenmaking so many mistakes. But today I have a girl told me in the phone the she needs to put me in hold because the customer food needs to go to the table first then actually take my order..WTF.So I guess I am not a customer.
Good place, excellent food. Recommendation more service!!!
Best Food And Quality Service! If You Love to Eat a WHOLE LOT? Then, Thats The Place for You to Go....... Five Stars All The Way.
Food is delicious, makes me feel like I’m in colombia. Prices are great, service is good too!!
4 stars for excellent prices, portions (plentifuland service. The service is stellar just like back in Colombia. They go out of their way to treat you well. There’s even a complimentary serving of ice cream after your meal. Who doesn’t love that!
Ive been coming here for years and the food is very good. The only thing is that some times they done have the bread I like and the empanadas are always burnt or not as fresh... but if you ask for fresh ones, they are so yummy.
Good taste in Colombian cuisine. Prices the best in the area. Excellent service, cant complain about anything I love it. If you live close by definitely you should try "la cantina"
Best Colombian food in south Florida. No one tops their bandeja paisa, calentado, or chuleta. Most dishes are 8-12 dollars, so great value too. Their staff is warm and friendly. Thank you for being in the neighborhood!
The food is good, every now and then they miss the mark but in general they provide a good product, the wait staff is real polite and Pilar, is awesome just a great smile and an amazing person once you get to know her, the owner is nice and very proud of his food.
Good Food classic Colombian Food!!
This place serves pretty damn good Colombian comfort food at very reasonably prices. Theres a daily special, Fridays youll find the well-known Bandeja Paisa for a low 9.99, its a lot of food. Most menu items can easily be shared or split due to generous portions. Good catering service as well. I recommend La Casa de Peinado for a delicious fulfilling meal.
I want to be clear; this is my impression just for 3 emapanadas. The service was good, the restaurant was full, but the meat empanadas were the worst empanadas ever.
Horrible experience, horrible service extremely disappointed, served a bandeja paisa with white beans no avocado, our server not once came back to ask if we needed anything else, came from very far and it was a waste food not good at all.
Portions are large. Rice and beans were delish....meat (chickenwas a little dry for my taste. A little pricey.
Delicious food, nice environment, music, best price in the area and excellent service.
bad service I was ordering a food by phone and they let me wait and never came back to me. they only nice girl was a Venezuelan girl so nice and also a guy name Alex the food is not bad but still I will go there as a last resort. In addition the use the box to go conteiner with whole in the plastic since the food is hot and this is not good for our health. They need to replace the container boxes for food to go and need a better manager who really care about the business and the customer.
This place has amazing Food!!! However service is terrible and that’s why I am reviewing it at a 3 stars. The waitresses barely acknowledge the customers OR they only do to the ones they want; they are always chatting among themselves and make the customer wait, Once they finally take your order; they are not friendly and have a really bad attitude.Again, food is fantastic.
Great food. Great service. Great prices. I have 5 colombian restaurants around and this is the furthest one. I always choose to go to this one.
The food is high quality and this place is lovely and price uau the best this is a real food congratulations for all Colombian Brothers to made me happy
Very nice and cozy place, the food is excellent traditional and from scratch.Prices very economic, service great. I used to eat there since 2007 . I am back. In town and eating here frequently . 😎
Service was good and so was the food. I had an arepa that was good along with pollo al a plancha. Chicken was amazing with the rice and beans. 5stars
Absolutely wonderful staff makes you feel like family small quaint and casual place very delicious flavorful food and all in good time Quick Service Great staff couldnt feel more welcomed and more at home
Love the food the service is good and for the price you get very good quality
Greatest Colombian restaurant around. The seasoning is impeccable and the staff is really friendly. Prices are cheap, you get so much food for your dollar.
Went there yesterday and had the WORST service ever!!! Ive been there before, but only to pick up an order. I didnt think the service inside when you go to sit down and eat would be as bad. On top of which I ordered the pollo a la plancha and it was burnt just as the maduros were too! 👎🏼😠👎🏼 And the waitresses were NOT at all attentive except for one.
WOW! I order from this place every other day and its always very good. I get the $30 card "la cantina" which gives me 5 full fledge meals. CANT BEAT IT!
