Everything was delicious!

Absolutely phenomenal. Wish the dishes werent single use only, but the food and service was wonderful. Its always exciting when I find gluten free breakfast options that dont break the bank too.

I ordered a crème brûlée filled waffle with bananas here, and it was seriously the best waffle I’ve ever had. I smiled the entire time I was eating it, and my cheeks hurt from the smiling by the time I was done.My wife also got a half salmon breakfast waffle and a half crème brûlée waffle, and she was IN LOVE with both. We’re here for our honeymoon!I wish I could upload a video of my cracking the top of the crème brûlée waffle. Just a small press with the fork and you immediately get to see the delicious filling begin to bubble up from underneath. Caramelized sweetness, perfectly crisp texture on the outside with a nice fluffy interior, and the creaminess from the filling… my goodness. Did I mention strawberries? A chocolate drizzle? Just look at the pics.Cherry on top? The staff here is so, so friendly! Bridget was an absolute sweetheart, and so welcoming. I wish I could come here for breakfast every dang day—if only I lived in Puerto Rico full time!

Everything sits on a waffle...sweet and savory. Make your mouth water, goodness. Will come to this place again. The Service was great too.

Masks are required.The Nutella Delight was good. I recommend getting the full size. It’s not as big as you think. The chai tea blend is good but the scrambled eggs was average. Didn’t really care too much about it.Service can improve. I was waiting for a table inside. Was told it would be 5 mins. Turns out there was an upstairs with 2 free tables the entire time.

The Evils 1/2 waffle was good could of been a little hot for me.

Best waffle spot ave have tried. They have sweet waffles and salty waffles. Half or full. A lot good options.

Waitress was rude and the Waffles was basically stunt food. The coffee was smoldering hot, had to wait 30 mins just to drink it.

Outside seating on a Saturday morning, mimosas and getting different flavors of half waffles to try out more of the menu was one of the recommendation of our waitress Bridgette (SHE IS AMAZING). The sweet one crème brûlée is to die for. Very very good! A must try.

Dont sleep on this place for breakfast. Good coffee and outstanding food. Even when I thought I was ordering a normal topping for my waffles, it came with extra presentation and flavors. This isnt waffle house, its waffle gourmet!

Food was delicious and staff was very friendly. We went and had a table outside very nice scenery however my only comment at that time was the wait it took them awhile to bring food and coffee. Over if you are around old San Juan I would recommend and support local business.For COVID concerns employees wear masks and they make sure you get hand sanitizer before entering the establishment.

This a gem of a place. I went twice and each time the food kept its consistency. I had a sweet and savory option for breakfast. The combinations are endless. The prices are reasonable and location easily accessible. Would recommend.

Extremely expensive, even for a turist area. For those prices, you would expect fine eating. However, the plates and cups were disposable. $26.61 for a waffle, 2 eggs with prosciutto and cheese, and 2 coffees is twice more than what I paid the day before in Old San Juan for a larger breakfast in a fine restaurant. The coffee was weak and tasteless for $3.25. The concept is a good one. I would recommend giving the option of the waffles and the toppings in separate plates and consider plates more appealing to the locals. The food came out fast and had good taste. Nothing impressive about the waffles. They were just like the ones at home.

This place use to be amazing, when they were in Old San Juan, (now it’s on a Pier). I’m not sure what happened with their kitchen, but we were disappointed.Coffee was horrible. Food was ok, our waffles was a little burned. Mimosas was really good.If it’s a long wait, it not worth it..

This place is super yummy!! It is expensive fir the amount of food you get. I do not recommend the coffee since it is watered down. They do not use an espresso machine like most restaurants in PR. Other than this, the food is very good. The scrambled eggs were really good. If you go on weekend, there will be a wait. Only outside seating during COVID and tables are limited. Arrive early. Food took about 45 min as with many restaurants on the island. This is a normal wait time fir food.

Great waffles and fresh food. Nice place to check out if you are near Old San Juan/ Condado area.

Hands-down one of the best breakfast restaurants I’ve ever been to our server bridgette it was amazing

The concept itself of slavery waffle is great if only was implemented the way it was thought. The service was terrible, one waitress which couldn’t care less of the customers, we have waited 20 min hopping she was going to let us sit and take the drink orders but she didn’t, so we took the first available table and ordered juices with the food, waited 45 min to receive the wrong juices and at that point we were ready to cancel the food order but the waitress said to wait 10 more minutes and we did. Finally the so long waited waffles arrived and it was even more of a disappointing experience, they were super dry with just toppings on them. I wish I could’ve write a better review but it’s not really possible.

I love the spin they put on waffles. This eclectic spot is a hidden gem in Old San Juan. Its off the beaten path but you still get delicious treats with awesome views. Sweet or wholesome, you choose. You cant go wrong either way.

Such a quiet, cool vibe here! Very relaxed. We went at 9:30AM on a Sunday. It was not crowded at all! The wait staff are super nice. The only one nuisance were the 2 bees 😂 The waffles were great as well! I had the Elvis, which I highly recommend. I recommend the half. Seriously, the half.

Easily the best breakfast my girlfriend and I have ever had. Both sweet and savory packed in one punch! Made our day trip to old San Juan one to remember !

Excelent service! Food was delicious and as expected. The menu offers several premade options and the options to make your own waffle. The servings are perfect. Coffee is delicious!

On vacation. Was looking for unique food experience. Was advised to visit this lovely restaurant by another website. Absolutely glad we did. Went right when it opened on Sunday while others were in church. I ordered the green eggs and ham 1/2 waffle and my friend ordered the canellode and we split it along with a pot of early grey tea. Excellent food! Waffle was sweet but not overly so, just the right amout of egg and ham. The canellode wad loaded with pecans. Perfect breakfast to sit and eat and sip tea while it rained. Would totally recommend this lesser known spot.

If you like waffles this is the place to go. They have a huge variety of them. You can create your own with the different toppings they have, like fruits, vegetables, cheese, egg, nutella among others. They have natural orange juice, mimosas and coffee. I ate the waffle with salmon, egg and machego cheese which was really delicious. 😋

Love this place! Coolest twist on waffles ever! The coffee is also phenomenal. Friendly, bilingual staff. Be prepared to wait at least 20 minutes for your meal items since everything is carefully prepared after you order. Nothing fast food about this place, but its delicious!

This place has amazing siphon brewed Puerto Rican coffee. Brewed to order so its a bit of a wait but completely worth it.Waffles are great and huge variety so something for everyone here.Service was fast and friendly.

Delicious waffles! I had the pesto green eggs and ham and they were lovely! My 5 year old son was dying for some waffles and he got everything he wanted and more. I even had fun decorating one for my 3 yr old girl with their delicious fruit yogurt and granola. Highly recommend!

Onwner Check your staffArrive there at 11:07 today table we’re visibly open. waited 40min more tables were open apparently nobody could clean them. Nobody told use at least they would take care of us. Completely terrible with a line outside. The food must be good I guess. Also Kitchen staff you could see one of the people doing nothing only two were doing the work this other person was just watching. I ended up leaving with empty stomach and angry wife. Thanks for making my day.

They offer a delicious variety of sweet and savory pancakes at a reasonable price. Great place for breakfast or brunch. Delicious mimosas and sangria for brunch. Also suitable for children. Great service and always delicious.

I was so happy that my friend found this lovely little spot during our vacation to Puerto Rico. The Big Breakfast waffle meal was beyond my expectations. This was my first time experiencing manchego cheese and I instantly became a fan. I highly recommend!

Solid breakfast place to mix savory and sweet. Went with the roast beef and creme brulee. Added extra berries and spicy agave syrup. Both were very good but the waffles came out room temp. Next time around Id ask them to make sure the waffles get a quick blast with the torch they were using to finish off the toppings.

The smell of those waffles is divine and they also taste amazing. Id go there every day if given the chance!

Its near the port so its and you wont really get authentic Puerto Rican food. What youll get is an attempt at a trendy U.S breakfast place. If rate the food as 3/5, price as 2/5 service as 4/5.

I dont care what breakfast plans you have, cancel them and go here! The tea and coffee selection is so good. The moment you walk in you feel like youve stepped back in time to a slower and quieter time of life. Its so relaxing to come in, be greeted by a great staff, drink different teas and rich coffee, and finally eat THE BEST waffles youve ever had.Puerto Rico has such great people and food, so treat yourself to Waffle-Era while in Old San Juan!

Seriously amazing! Went twice during my visit. Staff is very friendly and remembered us. They are great about explaining the menu. I urge you to get the coffee, the brew is fantastic. You can order half sizes of the plate which gives you the opportunity to try two different things that create and entire waffle which will fill you right up. Its worth it. Not expensive either. Also the pesto is wonderful

Waffle-era has created some incredible waffle combinations. We ordered two waffles - the Pamis Breakfast (Sweet with fruit, yogurt, granola and syrupand the Big Breakfast (Salty - Combination of egg prosciutto, manchego cheese and maple syrup).Prices were on he high end, especially for waffles but the area is very touristy and the food is unique.
